About: In 2019, I started my journey foster raising puppies for PAWS with a Cause, an organization that custom trains service dogs. I raised 4 PAWS dogs, keeping them from 8 weeks to a year old. My first 2 actually became certified service dogs! In between fostering, I also raised 2 keeper puppies of my own. I have a female 4 year old lab, a female 1 year old golden, and a male chocolate lab puppy who came home with us at the end of June. Safe to say I'm addicted. I work remotely which gives me the flexibility to take my dogs out as they need. I go into the office on Tuesdays for a full day, however, I am able to take a long lunch if needed to take dogs out. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly dogs at home. I have crate-trained dogs. I have taken my own babies to countless dog training classes, picking up a lot of knowledge of dog behavior.

About: I have taken care of many neighbors and families pets. I have watched birds, cats, dogs, and other exotic animals such as hedge hogs, Bearded dragons and guinea pigs! I enjoy walking and playing with animals! I am currently working as a teacher full-time but I am deciding to step back for a while and change it up a bit! I would also love to focus on finishing my college degree as well! I live in an apartment that has a doggy park next to it. I can help train your puppy as I helped train my dogs when they were puppies!

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and currently work as a dog bather in Okemos! I am also going to grooming school, and set to graduate in September! I’ve cared for animals all my life. This includes cows, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, guinea hens, sheep and I even have a gecko! I have shown cows and sheep at the county fair, so don’t worry if you have a large dog that likes to pull or play tug of war! I worked at an animal shelter dealing with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I hang out with my siblings often who also have dogs, a cane corso and two elkhound mixes, and we’ve had labs and pomeranians in the past. I have bathed, trimmed nails, and given oral/topical medications to dogs, cats, sheep, and cows. I am also open to taking care of any other pets or farm animals you may have! I work two to three days a week at Dog Gone Fun in Okemos, and do three days of school at Animal Crackers in Hartland. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask! I have cared for a variety of dogs- different breeds, all ages, all temperaments. I grew up with dogs my whole life (among other animals), and I have learned a lot from my experiences about how to read an animals body language.

Whether it’s training, boarding, or daily care, I provide a safe, loving, and professional environment tailored to each pet’s needs. Your pets will receive the highest level of attention and expertise, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well-loved while you’re away. As I take care of my own dogs and they are never left alone more than a few hours, the same will be done with your pet! I have a fenced yard about 4 acres plus a small area for dogs who needed to be excericised confined. I have crates and kennels for the dogs with their own bedding and it all gets bleached once a week. Plus a full furnished basement with crates so your pet can be loose downstairs with me!

About: As a user of Rover for the past two years, I know whole-heartedly the feeling of panic when logistics do not permit the fur-baby to come with. As things are shifting in my life, I would love to provide a sense of ease to those who WISH their pup could come with. Animal behavior and training has been a fascinating field to dig into! Building trusting and positive relationships with animals has been a major life-shaping experience for me. On a personal note - I work full-time from home as an IT consultant. I love getting out in the mountains as much as possible. Eldy (my pup) and I have done countless backpacking trips through Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Michigan and Florida. I truly believe that we owe it to the little ones to bring them into their habitat and experience the wilderness as much as possible.
