“Great experience with Emily. She's conscientious, reliable, sends terrific and fun updates on each visit, and is willing to take on extra tasks like taking our cat to the vet when we discovered he had worms right before leaving town. She and our cat Zeke really hit it off, as I'm sure she would with any animal. Would definitely book her again.”

About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’m new to Rover, but not to pet care. I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friend’s, and coworker’s pets for over 15 years. I have been consistently pet sitting since 2020. This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space clean; laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in the mail, take out the trash. I want your home to be a safe haven when you get back, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I make sure your pet is happy, clean, litter scooped, fed, walked, and they will get lots of love and playtime. I always respect their cues and boundaries for everyone’s comfort. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are happy and cared for in your absence. There are references on my wix website which I’m happy to share upon request. I provide a free meet-and-greet before sitting dates; I want to meet you and your pet, and ensure they are comfortable with me ahead of my visit. I love check-ins for longer stays and will send photos if desired. My house sitting overnight services are in high-demand so please book ahead for best results. Let me know how I can help! I look forward to meeting you ☺️🐶🐾 My main focus is on building dog walking and pet care services, so I’m available for all your pet care needs! I am often in Amherst or Greenfield and don’t mind traveling. My house sitting is very in demand so please book early. I have more flexibility for daytime walks. Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about what keeping your pet safe looks like. I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or any other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I have a good eye for ticks and I am always finding them, but your dog should be treated for this, too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

“Sharene was wonderful. She came before our trip to meet my two cats and they both really liked her. She was able to accommodate my pets different dietary requirements and provided lots of updates with great photos. I could relax on my trip knowing my fur babies were so well cared for.”

About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

“Anne was a great sitter for our cats. She provided detailed updates after each visit and sent photos each time. She is very responsible and reliable. We had peace of mind knowing that Anne was checking on our cats while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Alexis fit in with all of our 4 leggeds and fish while we were on a week's vacation! She communicated daily, capturing our fur babies' pieceless interactions and some fishy facial expressions! Our home, inside and out, was well cared for. I highly recommend Alexis and would be happy to answer any specific questions. Having Alexis at the house took the stress away about leaving the house, mail, plants, garbage pick-up, deliveries, etc! Mark, Nala, and Tabor miss their roommate!”

About: I grew up around dogs and have always considered myself a dog person, though living with a roommate's cat for nearly two years showed me that I can get along with all sorts of fur babies! I adopted my own dog when I was living overseas and loved learning, growing, and spending time with Rambo. I had the joy of living with and caring for my medically-needy and reactive senior pup Rocko for 6 years until he passed away in 2024. I’m a registered nurse, so I’m comfortable with medications, and I’ve received a great deal of behavioral training to support Rocko with his reactivity. I am very patient, energetic, and love spending time with the dogs and getting to know and care for them. I enjoy playing fetch and tug-of-war as well as cuddling and going for walks. I am a self-employed handyperson which gives me the flexibility to take jobs I enjoy while being able to help owners provide quality care for their fur babies while they're away. I am accustomed to letting my dog out around 7am every morning, walking him in the afternoons, letting him out before bedtime, and giving him as much snuggles and attention as he wants during the day. Being self-employed gives me the flexibility I need to make sure my baby gets the care he needs and deserves. Your fur babies will get the same love and attention that they need! In my own home, I’ve had time to figure out what works for my pets and partner/roommate - and we generally stick with what works! In a client’s home, it’s the same idea - y’all are the experts, so I stick to what you know and want me to do! Keeping tidy, putting food away, and making sure there’s nothing hazardous left out are the keys to a safe and happy home environment.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for a few years, including my own cats, my senior dog, and friends’ pets. I’m experienced with medication administration. I have two 3 year old cats that I adore. I’m working part time, so I’m happy to check in during the day for a short visit or spend the night at yours if needed! I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. If you have another kind of pet, I’m happy to learn more about them too! I’m very attentive and keep on schedule for feeding and walks. I’m very good at noticing changes in behavior and keeping pets out of trouble.

Jaclyn P.
“I have been using Jaclyn as a petsitter for over a year now. She is sweet, attentive and treats my fur babies as hers. I have a mix of dogs and cats and even dart frogs. Dart frogs need to eat live fruit flies and she had no problems giving them their food while I was a way for a week. My senior dog is on medications and while on one vacation she even drove to the vet 1/2 hour away to pick up more medications for him. I have a new puppy and she has been so helpful. I’m so happy I finally found a good sitter!”

Sharene K.

Karl K.
“Karl has watched my dog, Willow, for over a year, and I can say with certainty that there is no one more perfect than him to be a dog sitter. He has a large, fenced-in backyard where the dogs can run around and play all day. When we're away, he sends us videos of her having the time of her life (she’s always a bit disappointed to come back home!). Taking care of these dogs is his passion, and it truly shows in how happy Willow is with him! I could not recommend him enough.”

Jenna O.

“Jenna has lovingly taken care of my cat many times when I have been out of town. He is a very social kitty so really craves human contact and connection. Jenna spent a lot of quality time with him, talking sweetly to him, petting and brushing him, and always giving him his breakfast and dinner on time. My cat loves Jenna still! When I would come home, he would be happy and healthy, like I never left. I trust Jenna to watch my precious little friend anytime. She has always done a great job!”

Olivia L.
“Olivia personally has 2 snuggly cats who she loves very much so she knows what she’s doing! She’s also been a cat-sitter for us multiple times while we’ve been away and our cat is a big fan. She’s trustworthy, responsible, and has good judgement. I would trust her to know whether my cat needed extra attention (medical or otherwise) while I’m gone and let me know. She’s the best!”
