“Nyree was amazing, and I’d highly recommend her! She came every morning for a week to let my fur baby out of her kennel, give her breakfast, and take her for a quick morning walk. About: My pet sitting approach combines a lifetime of caring for animals and understanding their needs across their entire lifespan. I bring an intuitive connection with strength, patience, and diverse care experience, ensuring your pet feels safe, loved, and happy no matter the size or species of the lovable cutie. I am committed to making their time away from you as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! I'm currently looking to do pet care full time and am available for daytime, overnights and on short notice. I am centrally located near Minneapolis. At this time I am not set up to provide for pet care in my home. I am available to care for any pet in their home.
About: I have both adopted and fostered young and senior dogs. The youngest dog I have fostered was 1 year old (Golden Retriever - 45 lbs) named Benny. The oldest dog I have cared for was my resident dog, Bubba (Black Lab/Husky Mix - 80 lbs) who I had for 4 years who recently passed away at 11. Dogs are my pride and joy! I work full time on the weekdays and am free on the weekends. I am available during the week sometimes after work. Willing to stay the weekend if needed. I treat dogs like I would my own. On walks I make sure I have everything we need before going out. I respect each pet and go with what they want to do. IE adhering to their boundaries. I am also great at following directions that the owner provides. I want all parties, pets, parents, and myself to feel comfortable.
About: I am reliable to help care for your pet. I have done pet sitting and walking for clients for 5 years. I personally have a miniature poodle and a pug ♥️ I am able to take care of your pet any day of the week. I just need to know at least 3 days ahead of time before you need me. I provide care for pets in clients homes as well as take dogs on walks. I am able to check on your pet while you are at work. I can also stay at your home if needed on weekends.
About: I’ve watched family and friends dogs for years. I enjoy being the “go-to” person to watch their pets . Love caring for and playing with dogs, talking them on walks, and playing! I have some flexibility in my schedule during the weekdays . However, I can always do afternoons walks and care and availability full time on weekends. For longer I usually watch folks dogs in their home - if that’s the preference. If your puppy needs to be just walked and fed for just the day that’s also grand!
About: Hi loving pet parents! My name is Brooke. I may be new to Rover, but I’m no stranger to pet care and I’m ready to become besties with your pup! I have cared for pets since I was 12-years-old, and I love all dogs, no matter the size, shape, or personality. I've grown up and cared for several breeds - from boxers, to cockapoos, to labs, to frenchies - and I am comfortable taking an energetic pup on a run, or I can be a couch-potato with a dog that loves to cuddle. It's my utmost goal to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, and relaxed while you're away! I work a hybrid-remote job with a flexible schedule. The longest I will be out of the house is 5 hours per day, and I am able to build my schedule around your dogs' needs! I am able to accommodate any routine your pup has, and I will give them all the love they need while you are away. I can easily crate them if needed, or stick to any feeding, exercise, and/or medication schedules you have in place.
About: I have owned and cared for dogs all of my life. My family growing up had high energy dogs that required lots of play and enrichment time. I love spending time with animals, and going for walks! I work part time during the summer, so I have lots of availability for a play date or taking pups on a mid day walk. My schedule does vary week to week, but I have lots of availability during the day. I am kind, patient, and attentive. I have had very timid dogs in my past where I take my time to make them feel comfortable before entering their world!
About: Instead of "what sets me apart", I'll talk about a recent experience during the snowstorm. During the snowstorm, I had to pick something up. I was in my (previous) car, when a beautiful dog walked up to my window. Sometimes I feel like animals are telepathic, because it just felt like she was saying "Please help me". She was infinitely sweet, and adorable. That night, I spent 5 hours with her, getting her chip checked, getting people to give a damn about her, getting her to authorities for her to be reunited with her family, and hopefully spreading some warmth and love into her heart. I refused to end my night until I was sure she was safe. Extremely flexible. And I'm more than happy to accommodate any changes to your schedule. As long as we are communicating well, any day is available! Each individual pet is different, but I do my best to pay attention to each individual need. Some dogs want walks, some don't. All need attention (and reassurance if their family is leaving on a trip, or won't be back for a while).
About: Hi there! My name is Valeska and I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old. I have also been a Vet Tech for 3 years, gaining lots of experience and exposure throughout those years. I have a Fear Free Certification, so I can ensure a stress free time with your pet. I'm currently working part-time and mostly weekends, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I personally enjoy stimulating my dogs, so I can ensure mental and physical stimulation through fun activities! I would prefer to care for a client's pet in their home rather than mine. For safety and preventative measures aligned with my Fear Free training received through Fear Free Pets, a Veterinary Professional Certification Program, I would ensure to provide a stress free environment, one in which the pets feels safe even though their owner may be absent and a stranger is present.
About: Pets are like family to me. I will make sure that your pet is safe, loved, and has fun while you are away. They may even learn a new trick or two! I love cats and will provide a discounted rate for anyone who needs to board their cat with me! I currently work from home so I can spend all day with your fur baby. Since I do work from home, I can give your pet lots of walks and play time but they must be able to handle being alone when I am in a meeting. I can accept boardings for cats and dogs between 9am and 6pm. Same day bookings are only available for previous clients. I have a dog park within 3 minutes of my home. Your dog will enjoy playing there everyday. I also have a cat that loves other animals! I have lots of entertainment for a cat as well so they won’t be bored!
About: Calm, 24/7 boarding for dogs and cats in a quiet home — perfect for senior pets, anxious animals, or those needing extra comfort. I work from home 24/7, so your pet always has care and attention around the clock. I’m Justin, a reliable and compassionate sitter in North Minneapolis. I offer in-home boarding and doggy daycare with a personal touch. With over three years as a PCA and full-time caregiver for my mother, I understand routines, special needs, and the importance of keeping pets on a steady, familiar schedule. Dogs enjoy the main floor of our peaceful, spacious, pet-friendly home. My mother does occasionally smoke on the main floor, but if you prefer a smoke-free environment, I can board your dog upstairs — the upstairs is mainly used for dogs and is always cigarette-free. Cats are occasionally boarded upstairs instead, but never at the same time as dogs. Cat bookings are rare, and pets are always kept completely separate when needed. Whether your pet needs structure, snuggles, or a calm place to relax, they’ll feel safe and loved. I offer some of the best rates in the area for multiple-dog bookings and longer stays. Optional: I also offer dog baths/showers for $20 per dog. Owners should bring their own shampoo so your pet is washed with a product they’re already used to. I also provide at least two to three walks per day, and any time pets go outside — even for a quick potty break — I’m with them to ensure their safety. Pet care fits into my daily life easily because I’m home full-time with a flexible 24/7 schedule. I’m available every day for walks, visits, or extended stays. Pets in my care are treated like family. It’s just me and my mother in the home, and we live in a big, quiet house in a peaceful neighborhood near Theodore Parkway and the golf course. The environment is calm, low-stress, and perfect for helping pets feel safe, secure, and loved. I’m home 24/7 since I work from home, so your pet will always have care, attention, and a calm presence around. I’ve also worked as a PCA for three years, which adds to my experience with responsibility and care.
