About: I’ve had cats and dogs most of my life, that's Stella, my 16 year old grand dame best girl in the photo with me. CATS: I've sat for my friend's cats, my daughter's cats and enjoy getting to know and love, oh and respect each cat's unique personality. I've cared for other senior cats, given I.V.'s and meds and lovingly helped kittens adjust to their new homes and their hooman's schedules. DOGS: I adore dogs and they love me! Enough said! I can't wait to meet your cat(s) and care for them in your home! I’m retired, so I have lots of available time to care for your fur-babies! I will feed, play, and snuggle with your cat or dog once or twice a day in your home as you and your pet prefer! After I've met you and your cat(s) or dog(s), and we've planned out your pet's schedule, I will visit your home and put fresh water and food in your cats' or dogs bowls, once or twice a day, walk your dog or scoop the litter box and dispose the waste outside your home, and most importantly, love on your most precious friend and have playtime, either once or twice a day, depending on you and your pet's needs.
“Charles has been absolutely amazing with our leash & stranger reactive dog Ollie. He has been patient and accommodating with us and now Ollie is excited to see him when they go on walks!”

“Always takes the best care of my dog!! Great communication and accommodating my dogs needs. It makes my day when I get to see all the fun routes they take and the cute and funny pictures of my dog😂 thank you Sydney!!!”

About: Experience with dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting. I've provided pet/house care for families who have taken extended vacations (2-5 weeks). Love to be active and play with animals! I'm responsible and consistent and willing to help with extra tasks in your home (plant care, light cleaning, taking out trash, etc.). While I can't have your pet in my home, I am able and willing to stay overnight, drop-in for extended visits/walks, and/or do what your pet needs to be comfortable. I have years of experience nannying in people’s homes and I’m currently working as a speech therapist in school and hospital settings. I hope you’ll give me a chance to take care of your pet(s)! My work schedule varies, but I generally work 3-4 weekdays from around 8-4pm. I’m able to stop by before work, after work, weekends, and of course stay over if that works best! I always try to incorporate exercise and/play into the pet’s day if possible. I try to make sure animals feel safe and cared for, giving space if they need.
“Vida seemed very happy and at least slightly tired (not an easy feat for an 8 month old vizsla!) when I got home. It looked like she had a good time with Laura, and I was happy that I was kept in the loop! We'll definitely be repeat customers.”

“Lauren is such a wonderful person! Very personable, great communication, and she took such great care of my dog Skylar. They went for an hour-long walk around my neighborhood. Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”

“Daisy loves animals and is very kind. She does this work because she likes it not because she has to . She is easy to work with, responsible and trustworthy. You couldn’t ask for more.”

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have cared for animals in all kinds of settings. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant, trained puppies in an organized setting, and grew up on a farm so we got to take care of a lot of animals there. I also worked at a large-animal research station where I was responsible for the daily care of musk ox and reindeer. Beyond my work experience, I’ve spent my whole life caring for pets and understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable with young, energetic animals and am more than happy to give extra patience and attention to senior pets or animals that need a little additional care. I’m currently a Nordic ski coach, so my schedule is fairly flexible during the day. We typically have practice around 4 PM, with occasional meetings throughout the day, but I have plenty of availability before and after practice for walks, drop-ins, feeding, and pet care. I’m able to build pet care into my daily routine and give your animal plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, which is often the best option for keeping them comfortable and sticking to their normal routine. I’m respectful of your home and will make sure your pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I can also have dogs stay at my home from time to time when my roommates’ schedules allow, so I’m flexible depending on what works best for you and your pet.
“Great dog walker! One of my dogs is very anxious around strangers and Hisham handled that really well. Timely communication, punctual, and positive & calm with the dogs. I will absolutely be recommending him to others.”

About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.
“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

I have grown up with dogs and cats and have been pet sitting both since high school. **I really specialize in cat care and if you are looking for cat care I am your person! I love hanging out with your pets, going on long dog walks, playing fetch, playing with the wand or cuddling with cats. I cater to your pets needs, whether that be playing, walking, food, or special care. In my current residence I have 6 cats total and one loving Golden Retriever, so I already am constantly spending my time around animals, and caring for my family pets. I am so excited to meet and hang out with your fur baby! I have a very flexible schedule currently, I am available most days for morning/afternoon/evening walks, and for cat care check ins. For overnight pet sitting I only do care in the Minneapolis area, and I am not available to bring your pet to my own home - I come to you! I offer house sitting, overnight dog sitting, dog walking and cat sitting services. For overnight pet sitting, I will also do any house care tasks needed- trash, watering plants, or any other requests depending on length of your leave. For dog walking, I cater to your pet! I can do long or short walks.

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has been a major part of my life since I was young. I attended summer camps through the Humane Society and the Minnesota Zoo, where I learned more about animal behavior, care, and enrichment from an early age. I’ve also always been surrounded by pets and have helped care for seven cats throughout my 20 years. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, administering basic care, and recognizing when something seems off. In addition, I’ve been dog sitting, cat sitting, and dog walking since I was 10 years old, giving me experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I put as much patience and attention into every animal as I can. Over the years, I’ve cared for senior dogs, energetic puppies, large breeds, and shy or nervous pets. I understand that every animal has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, and I always do my best to help them feel safe and secure while their owner is away. Whether that means sticking to a familiar routine, spending extra time playing, or simply offering a calm and reassuring presence, my goal is always to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while providing dependable care you can trust. I currently work part-time as a hostess, where I work four 5-hour shifts each week. Outside of those shifts, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for dog sitting, cat sitting, and dog walking. I'm happy to accommodate your pet's routine whenever possible and would be able to ensure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. In my own home, my cats are indoor cats, but I also let them safely enjoy supervised outdoor time, because they love watching the birds and squirrels in the yard. It's one of their favorite parts of the day, and I love seeing how much happiness it brings them. I have experience walking dogs on leash and, when appropriate and with the owner's permission, in safe off-leash areas. I'm also comfortable letting dogs outside in both fenced and unfenced yards while always following their usual routine and your instructions. Whether your pet loves to play, explore, or simply relax, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. I'm also experienced with crate training and safely transporting pets in carriers, and I'll always prioritize your pet's comfort, safety, and well-being as if they were my own.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 4 years. I work part time from home and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule o can adapt my routine based on a client’s needs with enough advance notice. I’m naturally very playful and affectionate - I love cuddles! But I’m also conscious that every pet has different needs, likes and boundaries that require patience for me to learn. I enjoy developing relationships with animals over time, and finding effective warm ways to communicate with them. Regular walks, practicing commands, playing games and tons of affection are what my dog sitting tend to entail. I’m an incoming graduate student studying creative writing. I have a lot of flexibility and can go on walks at various times throughout the day since I work part time from home. I tend to spend my mornings writing so am happy to start my day with a walk as this tends to energize my creativity! After a few hours of writing, I’m available for another walk with your pet! Even as I’m writing, I enjoy petting and showing love to pets and so your pet will get lots of my attention. I aim to establish a deep understanding of the pet’s routines and eating habits, how long they enjoy walking for etc and am happy to help with training if that’s a priority for the client. Taking things slow and building trust over time is my keep approach. I respect a pet’s space and boundaries and read body language very closely.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, cats, small animals, and farm animals, so I am comfortable with many different routines! I currently have a cat, so I am unable to host pets in my home, but I am happy to spend plenty of time loving on your pet in your home! I am a graduate student at UMN, so I have lots of availability in the mornings and evenings to care for your pet. I am available anytime on the weekends! Meeting new people can be scary, I will work to build trust with your pet by following their routine and spending time doing what they love! If they want to play fetch for hours or just cuddle, then we will!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kenwood
Sydney is new to our pups but she handled them like a pro and they instantly took to her. She was on time and did a great job dealing with the nuances of access to home, their leashes, interaction with other dogs, cats that like to try to escape, etc. Thank you Sydney!

Bailey was so wonderful to work with. She helped us out in a jam, covering walks for our dog when our dog walker was out of town for an extended period. She was so organized, professional, and helpful. She was very patient with our dog who is definitely a handful.

Autumn is amazing! She has an intuitive sense of animals and knew exactly how to befriend our dog Paco, who can be initially wary of new people. He adores her and goes running to the door whenever she arrives. Autumn is incredibly focused and attentive and kind, and we (and Paco) are so grateful for her.

Emilie was fantastic. Incredibly professional and communicative and kind. She did a fantastic job with our dogs. She was able to handle both easily on their walk. She was great in meeting to orient her to our dogs and all through the time we had her walk the dogs. There is a clear reason she has such great ratings and reviews here.

Rachel came in fully capable to address some stress and anxiety in my senior pup's moving to a new apartment. She offered suggestions and tried some different approaches before and after walking him, which was just what he needed. I'd recommend her to help you for dog walking, for sure! I appreciated the feedback and pix she sent.
