About: Hi, I'm Meredith! I am an experienced, caring, and trustworthy petsitter. But don't take my word for it! Here's what others have said: "Meredith truly cared about my pets, and I felt completely at ease being away. As someone who’s very picky about who takes care of my dogs, I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter." "Meredith brought peace of mind, warmth, and reliability to our home. I’d trust her with our pets anytime." "Her calm energy and loving nature were exactly what our anxious rescue needed." "Meredith was fantastic. She cared for our home and animals as if they were her own." I’d love the opportunity to care for YOUR pets and your home! Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up in a house full of beloved cats and dogs, and I’ve raised several pets of my own as an adult, so caring for animals is truly second nature. I started pet sitting professionally in my 20s and recently returned to it with renewed passion and dedication. I now have over 7 years of direct pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of hands-on care with animals of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. As a responsible, organized, and nurturing high school English teacher with 20 years in the classroom, I bring calm attentiveness and excellent communication to every sit. I’m also a devoted mom to two kind-hearted, respectful animal lovers (ages 8 and 11), who may occasionally accompany me depending on the arrangement. If they do, rest assured they are gentle, supervised, and bring extra love to the experience. Whether it's administering medication to a senior pet, giving special attention to a rescue, or sticking to your pet’s unique routines and needs, I approach every sit with genuine care and commitment. I’m also experienced in basic training, gentle leash walking, and giving animals the calm, consistent presence they need to feel safe. If you have houseplants, I’ve got you covered there, too. I worked in my family’s garden center for years and enjoy keeping plants healthy and thriving. While I’m newer to this platform, I take each sit seriously and treat every home and pet with the utmost respect. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs of any kind, and I always bring my own groceries and supplies. Communication is clear before, during, and after the stay, and you'll receive regular updates to give you peace of mind. I’m in a meaningful season of transition and using this time to do something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals while exploring new places. This work blends my love of travel and nurturing in a way that reflects my values. If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect virtually or in person, when possible. Looking forward to meeting you and your beloved companions! Pet care is a natural, joyful part of my everyday rhythm. As a longtime teacher and mom, I’m used to creating routines that are structured yet flexible, making it easy to adapt to the unique needs of each pet and home. Whether it’s morning walks, medication schedules, mealtime routines, or play and snuggle time, I build my days around ensuring animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. Because I’m in a season of life where I have more flexibility, I’m able to be fully present with the pets I care for and enjoy giving them plenty of attention, consistency, and calm companionship throughout the day. It’s more than just a task in my routine; it’s a grounding and fulfilling part of my life that I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the routines and environment your pet already knows and loves. I follow all instructions closely, whether that means administering medications, preparing special meals, sticking to walk schedules, or providing quiet companionship. I aim to create a calm, consistent atmosphere that feels safe and nurturing, so your pet can relax while you're away. Also, I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. I’m clean, organized, and attentive to details, and I always communicate clearly throughout the sit to keep you informed and at ease. If my well-behaved, animal-loving children (ages 8 and 11) accompany me, it’s only with prior agreement, and they are gentle, respectful, and supervised at all times. Above all, I care for each animal as if they were my own, with patience, love, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.

About: I have been taking care of my friends and neighbors pets for a few years now, and they always come back! I have always befriended animals quite quickly and have never had a bad experience with any pets! I'm currently have lots of free time! I am able to stop by for longer visits; making sure your pets are less stressed! While I'm there, they will receive lots of attention and pets! I do a very good job of following the instructions to a T. I have never lost a pet and only ever treat the pets with the same love I treat my own.

About: I have two dogs, a Cairn Terrier and a Black Lab. I have dog-sat since 2019 and cat sat since 2022 and I can clean up accidents, give medications, and give them baths or just give them a walk and some attention. I have a pretty open schedule. I can be away from home from 6AM-10PM. I would like to be notified at least a day prior to know if there are any changes, unless there’s an emergency. I can provide a fenced yard, lots of love, and treats (if they’re allowed to have some). My goofy black lab loves meeting others and doesn’t care what size or age. My Cairn is small, very curious, and always tries to show who's boss.

About: My first word was the name of my first family pet. That set the tone for my life as someone who has always felt connected to animals. Between personal pet ownership and serving as a foster, I have experience with dogs and cats of various species, sizes, age ranges (from puppy to senior), temperaments, and health statuses. Together, we can create a plan that best accommodates both you and your furry friend. My schedule is very flexible. I prefer to provide walks and drop-ins during working hours (8am-6pm), but I am open to mornings and evenings as well. I do have availability on the weekends, depending on my schedule. I want to work with you to determine how to best care for your pet in your home. Every pet and every house has its unique needs. For drop-ins, I will gladly take time to give your pet the playtime and affection they desire, which I know can differ from pet-to-pet. If you need me to medicate or crate your pet, or provide any other particular services, I can do so.

I can even take pictures with your dog and send you pictures and little updates in case you miss your little furry friend while you're on your trip. I love dogs so much and I've always wanted to make money doing something I love. That's why I have come to this app to work. Pet care fits in my daily and weekly routine. Right now I am in college and only have to focus on taking classes. So I have a lot of free time. Other than that, I have my own transportation and I can travel to different cities to watch your pets and your home!. I care for pets with the upmost respect. I follow all the rules given. Currently I have a yellow lab named Cooper who is very energetic and requires special attention, and a black cat named Dexter. I have experience with house-sitting, walking, playing and loving all kinds of animals. I can’t wait to meet your pet! Im based in Hillsborough and currently work full time Sun-Thurs 7am-3pm in RTP/Durham. I’m happy to provide walks and drop ins during my off times. In your home, I will make sure your pet is at their most comfortable. I will never get too close to your pet unless they are comfortable, I have experience with timid dogs. However, if your pet requires extra attention and tummy rubs, I can assist with that!
