About: I grew up taking care of my family dog that we had for 13 wonderful years. I have been dog sitting for many years and have also volunteered at animal shelters in the past. My partner and I own a home in Hillsborough, where we have a large, fenced-in yard for our own pups, Reggie and Echo, to enjoy. I have (with professional guidance) trained puppies and cared for elder dogs. My work schedule is generally flexible and mostly remote, so I believe I can accommodate most needs. Advance notice always helps but I can likely handle last-minute requests as well. I am not able to host any pets but I am available for pet-sitting, check-ins, and dog-walking. Above all I try to care for people's pets as they would. Information about your pets' routines, dietary and medical needs, training, etc., is always appreciated. I am alert to what pets communicate about their needs and feelings. I generally believe in positive reinforcement and addressing issues before they become problems.
