About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I have hands on experience caring for them through all stages of life from energetic puppies to senior dogs. As a college student on break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on pet care. Without classes or campus commitments, I can dedicate my time to regular walks. For dog walking, safety and trust are always my top priorities. I use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and keep walks at a pace that’s comfortable for each dog. Clear communication with owners helps ensure trust and peace of mind every step of the way.

“This was my first booking and I'm very happy! I'm pretty anxious about leaving my dogs for a day or more with anyone. Not just new people, friends and family as well since anything can happen. Both of my dogs have chronic health conditions so it's easy to cause them to flare up. There were no issues at all with their health or anything. Christopher made me feel very comfortable and even came over the day before to meet me and my pups. My GSD is 100lbs so he can be intimidating, it really soothed me to see that he was comfortable with that. He and his wife also took both of them for a couple walks during 2 of the 4 drop in visits! I'm sure my dogs absolutely loved that and my GSD pulls like a mushing dog on a leash. I can definitely recommend Chris for care of your dogs”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up! I have experience with domesticated pets from horses to chinchillas. I was a veterinary assistant for a mobile wellness prevention clinic for a few years, so I do have experience with syringes, administering medication, and vital signs. Personally, I have two Dalmatians and neither of which are “easy”. I completely understand each dog has boundaries and personalities and I respect them all. I would be so excited to share my love with your dog and take them on as many walks as you please! I’m currently working part time for a family business so my schedule has become quite flexible. I am located in the North Hills area and would be more than happy to stop by whenever to ensure your fur baby is doing well! In your home, I would ensure there is always drinking water provided for your fur baby. I would be as respectful as I would want in return. If I notice any messes, I would document that and report back to you on what step you feel best with me taking next. People always thank me for being so kind as I’m glad my efforts are noticed in today’s society, we need more gentle helping hands.

I’ve seen it all- hyper, lazy, escape artists, mean, social, and animals that think they’re human. Patience is something that I have no shortage of and nothing can scare me away as I have seen it all, the good, the bad & the ugly. I am a huge advocate for animal shelters as I have logged an immense amount of hours volunteering and have helped rehabilitate abused animals. I have rescued 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 sugar glider, and have helped families find their forever fur babies. I have two dogs of my own: a Sheltie named Meeko, that has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and is now 16. And my very large 140lb, sassy and cuddly Malamute, Luna, who has just turned 9. I promise to treat your animals as if they were my own, because I 100% understand the struggles of trusting someone else with their babies. I work from home, so I’m able to give your furbaby constant attention, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playtime throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. My mornings start with a walk and feeding, and I keep a steady rhythm of exercise, cuddles, and check-ins from there. Evenings wind down with another good walk and calm bonding time before bed. Because my schedule is flexible, I can easily accommodate feeding times, medication schedules, and each pet’s unique routine. In my home, pets get a safe, comfortable space with plenty of room to relax and play. I keep fresh water available at all times, stick to their regular feeding schedule, and make sure they get regular potty breaks and exercise. I give lots of attention and affection throughout the day, and I keep dogs separated or supervised as needed so everyone feels secure. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to minimize stress—same feeding times, walk routes, and play habits they’re used to. I’m happy to handle feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty cleanup, and any medications. I have cared for my family's cats and dogs over many decades - with many personalities and age ranges.
