“Cheryl provided loving, thorough care to our spoiled 4 year old shishon! She sent pictures and videos and was very easy to coordinate with throughout the process. It definitely gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing he was in a safe, cuddly environment!”

“Stacey is fantastic. Her experience is evident in her calm and professional manner from the start. I felt very comfortable leaving my shepherd mix for a week knowing he would have plenty of room to run and the added benefit of other large dogs to play with. My dog can be reactive on a leash and at first meeting new people and Stacey handled him very well - calmly and with no apprehensions. She sent photos periodically during his stay and was very easy to communicate with. I will definitely use her again and will highly endorse her services.”

“We have never trusted anyone other than family to take care of our dogs until we came across Maria and her husband. They were very welcoming and gave us a sense of peace since the moment we met them. They have a large and beautiful property, with so much space for the dogs to explore. During the time my dogs stayed with them, they continuously sent me updates and gave me reassurance with photos that they were doing well. I loved the experience and will definitely be going back to them.”

“Michelle and Sami were great when they watched my girl, Kira. They treated her like family and sent pictures/updates during her stay. Would highly recommend!”

“Lindsay and her family were so sweet and accommodating. They went out of their way to learn about my puppy and sent updates. They were there when I needed them. Thank you!”

“Meliisa and her family are amazing !!! They took such great care of Balto !! Balto became part of the family while he was there and enjoyed all the things he does at home :). Highly recommend Meliisa !!”

“Our dog, Hudson, had such a great time staying at Dana’s! He is very high energy so we were pleasantly surprised when he was all tuckered out from playing with Cooper. We also appreciated Dana’s quick response time and pictures of our dog during his stay!”

“Christi was such a pleasure to work with and my dog was very well taken care of, and happy and healthy when we picked him up. He stayed active and Christi sent me lots of pictures of his adventures! Recommend and would definitely book again.”

“Patrick and Emily were fabulous! Zeke loved it there. They provided pics and updates and took very good care of our puppy while we were away! Highly recommended”

“Mary and her family were excellent sitters! She provided detailed updates and pictures throughout Kennedy's entire stay and it was very clear she was well cared for. Sometimes, Kennedy will return home seeming somewhat off, but that wasn't the case here - she received consistent care, attention, and exercise and I wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

About: While volunteering for dog rescue for 6+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to foster over 160 dogs of all ages, administer just about every type of medication, and vaccinate 1000’s of dogs traveling to foster and adopter homes I do not work for anyone else. My time will be fully dedicated to your pet along with my own and with as much love I have 3 friendly dogs at home. I have the ability to keep dogs separately in open or closed rooms. Crates or not crated. Once comfortable, they can spend time on the couch and playtime with other dogs with your approval.

“Erin was so amazing with Lucky! Her and Mako made Lucky feel like one of the family and he had so much fun with two of his new best friends! She gave us plenty of updates and we could tell Lucky had a blast!”

“From the moment Luna and I met Micheal for a brief meet and greet, we knew he was the one. Michael is the best and I trust him completely with my fur baby. He eased my mind by sending me videos of Luna and the other fur guests. They all had a good time. If you need someone to watch your fur baby, Michael is it.”

“Amy was amazing! Extremely responsive from beginning to end, very flexible, and took great care of my pup. Sent lots of pics and updates. 10/10 would recommend and book with her again.”

“We had great experience with Jena and Nick. Dexter received lots of love, personal attention, playtime, daily walks. Their pet Sebastian was a very nice dog and became great buddy of Dexter in a short time. They have a very nice and clean fenced backyard too. Dexter really enjoyed his time with Jena, Nick and Sebastian… We really appreciate their effort in making sure Dexter felt it at home…Thank you Jane, Nick and Sebastian for being so lovely to Dexter.”

About: I had a dog for 15 years that passed away a couple years ago now. I have been taking care of my family and friends dogs/cats for years now! I love playing with all animals and showing them love. I am usually available on weekends and most weekdays during the day and during the evening. I love going on walks and finding new parks to go hiking. I am very attentive and always make sure that the hiking trails are not too dangerous for the dogs. I live in Cranberry Woods, near Wexford. I am an outgoing, friendly girl that will provide the best care for your dog/cat/etc. I am currently working remote and I need something on the side to get me out of the house and moving! I do leave for meetings but I would like something fun and active to keep me active through the day!! I am very attentive to dogs and always make sure they are in a safe environment. I do not offer boarding so I would make sure your space is safe for the pet.
“Angeline and Dave treat Sydney like family. They take her for walks and give her lots of love. They always send pictures and updates throughout the stay and were accommodating when we had to pick up Sydney late at night. I would definitely recommend them.”
“Kate (and her family) are wonderful! From the moment I contacted her, Kate impressed me with her genuine caring and interest in my Benji. He has a medical condition - Cushing's Disease, which requires meds to be given on schedule 3x a day, and more potty breaks than a well pup would require. Her lifetime of experience and ease with animals was obvious from the moment we met. Benji's comfort and confidence with Kate, her family and their home, was immediate. As someone who had been nervous about leaving my buddy prior to meeting Kate, I wound up feeling very confident and comfortable leaving him with her! Kate was fantastic with Benji! She sent me photos each day, which allowed me to see his activities and how much fun he was having on his vacation! She also kept me informed of how he was doing overall, with his meds, and didn't hesitate to ask questions or let me know about any concerns that she had - I so appreciate these interactions! Kate is an awesome sitter and person, and I recommend her with all of my heart! She took wonderful care of my Benji, and I know that he's looking forward to his next vacation with her! Thank you so much Kate and family!!!”

“I highly recommend Brittany! She took great care of our one year Samoyed for a weekend away. He had a lot of fun playing with her two dogs, and returned home a very happy and tired dog. We were provided pictures and updates of our dog during his stay. Brittany is quick to respond to stay requests, and made drop-off and pick-up very easy.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wexford
We are so glad to have found Michelle and Sami. They treated our golden dog like family for our holiday weekend away. They also have 2 sons who were super helpful. The whole family took part in caring for our dog. My pup came back happy and tired from playing with their dogs ☺️

Cooper might have found a new home with Melissa and family, especially with Terri! These folks treated our dog as one of their own and we will have zero hesitation allowing Cooper to vacation with them again. Thanks for providing our dog with a great option next time we can't bring him along with us.

Ann was terrific. Its the first time that Lucy stayed outside our house and she thoroughly enjoyed her "vaction" with Ann and her son. Ann provided us with updates daily and met all the criteria you hope from a pet sitter. We have no concerns about another stay with Ann.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
