About: I've had dogs my whole life, of all types and sizes. We currently have a rescue dog, Scout, who is 10 years old. We have a yard, and a pet friendly home and lifestyle I work during the day, but do so remotely. I can easily take pets for a day time walk or for play time in the yard. Our neighborhood is safe and beautiful with lots of outdoor space. We have always had dogs and are extremely dog friendly, including lots of affection and downtime too.

About: I have experience raising and training a dog from early puppy-hood to 2 years old. Since then, joined Rover in May of 2021 and have been either watching dogs for people through this platform or helping friends watch their dogs. I currently live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with an outdoor deck and back yard. I will make sure to work closely with you to maintain your dog’s eating/exercising/sleeping schedule as consistent as possible to hopefully make their stay with me as comfortable and stress-free as possible! I’m also easily reachable and will send as many picture updates as you would like so you know your fur baby is taken care of. I make sure to understand your dog's needs and quirks and I make sure to keep the apartment clean and free from any choking hazards. We will also make sure to wear reflective materials or have a flashlight with us for any walks after sunset. We will make sure to understand ahead of time any concerns you may have and make sure they are addressed to the best of our ability. To ensure the best stress-free experience for you, your fur baby, and me, I do ask that your pupper is house trained, potty trained, crate trained (for when we need to go into the office for work) as well as leash trained. I typically will wake up around 7am to get ready for the day but am willing and happy to wake up earlier to take your pupper out for a quick bathroom break. We try to fit in at least 3 daily walks and can send picture updates during the day. During the weekends, we try to go on a longer walk somewhere or go to the local park. We always make sure to put the leash on before opening the door before our walks. We also like to make sure they are supervised at all times. My husband and I work remote 6 of the 7 days and so we will be able to keep your fur baby company throughout the day and ensure the routine that your fur baby is accustomed to is maintained during their stay with us! My dog, Duchess, tends to get along better with smaller dogs and will generally keep to herself. Any time her and your fur baby are together will be supervised whether they are playing or eating. Duchess does not resource guard but to ensure a calm feeding we can feed the dogs in different rooms.

About: Our family loved our golden retriever, MIllie, naming her the queen of our household. Please give us your dog so we can treat her like royalty, too. Our two boys love to run and play with dogs, and we live in a great community for dog walking, and a local pond is a great place for a dip! We have a fenced in yard and a house made for dogs. As a teacher, I have plenty of time over the summer to care for your pup. During the school year, we would love to have your dog stay with us over the weekend: we will be sure to center your dog as our focus. We have a fenced in yard that is perfect for playing fetch. We also have an extra crate that you could borrow if needed. We have a finished basement that your dog could stay in so she will feel like she has her very own den. Dogs are welcome and encouraged on the sofa and bed.
