Neither one usually comes out with new people, and Flynn both came out and even let Penny pet him! About: I've been responsible for pets since age 10. Cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, playing fetch, refilling food dishes, and being a patient, gentle, attentive owner who reciprocates unconditionally love. Now, at age 30, I've gained a deep understanding of cats and dogs, raised many from kittens and puppies, and have parented them through full, happy lives. I work a part time job as a home designer in Seattle, only about three days a week, 15-20 hours, usually mornings. I have plenty of time for pet care most evenings and my weekends are always free. Please give me a few days notice for weekday pet care so we can work around my schedule. I live in a spacious apartment with one roommate who is also very gentle and loving toward animals. We keep our areas tidy and our food secured in high up cupboards and in the fridge. I live in the master bedroom and keep my door open and my floor clean as well. There are comfy couches and a queen bed if you'd like your pet to have free reign on furniture. There is also a large, open grass field just a five minute walk from my apartment for dogs to run around and play.

She is a very young grandmother herself and uses rover to get some extra pet loving time in. Great with cats and dogs although she personally watched my cat for a number of days. Due to a snowstorm she wasn't able to come part of the time and she went out of her way to contact rover and get me a refund.”

About: Reliability!! I dog sat for many families back in Florida while earning my bachelors/masters. While I don’t have a dog of my own I will treat yours like my own. I work Monday-Friday so I would be able to check-in/walk dogs in the evening. Most of my weekends are free so I would love to fill my time by spending it with pets! I will not be able to care for pets in my own home. However, I have dog sat for several families in their own home.

I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer, so understanding dog behavior has always been second nature to me. I learned early that every dog communicates differently, and that patience, consistency, and a little positive reinforcement can go a long way. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. At home, I'm kept on my toes by my corgi, Xena, and my two cats, Gizmo and Tofu. Living with a dog and cats who all have wildly different personalities has taught me that every pet has their own quirks, routines, and love language—and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. Whether your pet loves long walks, energetic playtime, quiet cuddles, or just having someone nearby who respects their space, I'm happy to meet them where they are. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can relax knowing they're being cared for like one of my own. I'll also make sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. Expect plenty of updates, photos, and maybe a funny story if your pup decides to zoom around the living room or your cat appoints me as their new personal assistant. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I don't take that lightly. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I work full time Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which makes me a great fit for evening walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and weekend care. I keep my schedule up to date and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to, so your pet will always receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort will always come first. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and respect for their individual personality and routine. Growing up with a dog trainer taught me how to recognize body language, build trust, and create positive experiences without forcing interactions. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means a favorite walking route, medication, feeding schedule, playtime, or plenty of cuddle breaks. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have a 5 year old male labradoodle that I absolutely adore! I have a lot of experience watching dogs. I am very patient & I genuinely love all animals. We enjoy going for walks, playing fetch & spoiling all of our furry visitors. I’ve dogsat for many friends & family for weeks at a time. I’m very responsible & communicative while watching your pet. I understand the trust it takes to leave your dog with someone & I can assure you that I am a great candidate for the job. During my stay, I send pictures & updates daily. I genuinely enjoy my time with all pets. Dogs are like our children & they should be treated as such! Your dog won’t go unloved or ignored with me around. I am in school full-time so I have pretty open availability Monday-Friday & am usually only away for a maximum of 6 hours at a time. When I am in a clients home, I make sure to treat their pets & their home with the upmost respect. I ensure that I stick to the pets normal routine and spoil them just as much as they normally would be (if not more)!

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have been raised to love and appreciate them! Growing up, I often found myself at my grandparents. They live on a farm and at the time had multiple different types of animal. Dogs, Cats, Cows, Chickens, Goats... the list goes on. with that many animals, im sure you can imagine there were a lot of chores to do to keep the animals safe, happy and healthy. I currently have a sphynx cat which i have named Sir Tinklebean the third, and he is my best friend, I also have a xoloitzcuintli also known as a mexican hairless dog named tommy! Tinklebean and tommy also have some special skincare regimes due to their lack of hair. which consists of ointments and cocunut oil baths. At the moment i do not have any other commitments, which means my schedule is relatively open during the week and weekends. Whether that being dog walking or in home pet sitting! Although I dont offer in home boarding through my house, I would like to take this space to still write about how i care for my pets in my home so hopefully you will feel more safe and secure with your decision of choosing me to care for your animals. My backyard is fully fenced so that Tommy (dog) can have optimal sunbathing time, i also take him on walks often. He is fed 2 smaller meals twice a day, same as Tinklebean (cat)
