Pet care is my life and my joy! I work 5 days a week at a wonderful dog daycare with my business partner, and we have very different schedules so we can accommodate morning, midday, or afternoon walks, no matter the day. We have enough regular business that we have experienced just about anything a walk around the neighborhood can throw at us.

For most walks and drop-in visits, we want to maximize the time your dog spends outside. We are pretty quick to get harnesses and jackets on so we can get out the door. Locking the door behind us is part of the routine so you know your home is safe even when we are out on a walk. We like to know where cleaning supplies are located, so we can get accidents or spills cleaned up. We are happy to refresh your pet's water bowl after the walk, feed them a quick lunch/treat, or get in some play time or snuggles on the couch! We do not enter rooms without permission and are always respectful of your things.
Information Jessica D. would like to know about your pet
We have a detailed intake form we will ask you to fill out so we have a good idea of your dog's personality, behavior, fears, and quirks. We also have some questions about your home, preferred communication style, and your neighborhood. Reach out if you have any questions for us!
A typical day
For walks, we like to keep things interesting by changing up the route regularly or taking them to a nearby park or trail! We are quick to reward polite behavior with treats, and most dogs are excited to earn more. Sniffing is a natural dog behavior that is wonderful enrichment, so we encourage it on every walk! It's an easy way to help dogs relax and exercise their brains. We are also happy to spend some time after a walk snuggling on the couch or playing with toys inside or in the back yard. This is a great way to add a little extra excitement to the visit and a fast way for us to bond with your dog :)

Pet care experience
Licensed & Insured dog walking business, run by pet CPR & first-aid certified dog daycare professionals. We practice polite leash manners using positive reinforcement only! We have experience managing low to moderate reactivity and helping shy and anxious pups gain confidence. While we are not certified trainers ourselves, we do work with them regularly and have learned a lot from watching them. Our primary goal is making every walk a joyful and enriching experience for every dog in our care 💜 We are a relatively new business, so have lots of availability currently, but we are growing quickly and that won't be true forever. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. We can't wait to strut with your pup!
Reviews

Jessica is wonderful with Poppy and so patient! Poppy is making great progress on every drop in visit with getting used to Jessica and trusting her more! This is thanks to Jessica’s patience, warmth, kindness, and knowledge and experience of dog behavior and needs, especially anxious pups! So grateful and excited to work with her again!

Jessica and Annabelle were so wonderful with Poppy! We were outside for a bit and Poppy wasn’t too up for walking, and then we went inside. They are both knowledgeable about dog behaviors and Poppy didn’t bark and did really good taking treats and hanging in there with them there the whole time. We asked and answered questions of each other and they were great about getting to know Poppy’s needs and personality, etc.!

Jess is great! My dog June loves walks and playtime with her.

Jess is amazing! She is very sweet and is very communicative on scheduling. She is very reliable and I would recommend her to anybody who needs a trustworthy and dedicated pup walker.
