About: Hi! My name is Celestine, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats through personal pet sitting, family care, and volunteer work at PAWS Animal Shelter. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs — from playful, energetic pets to shy or senior animals that need extra patience and gentle attention. Growing up, I regularly helped neighbors, friends, and family with pet sitting responsibilities such as feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, giving fresh water, playtime, and making sure pets felt safe and comfortable while their owners were away. I’ve also cared for my siblings’ cats and understand how important consistency, cleanliness, and affection are for pets, especially when they’re adjusting to someone new. My experience volunteering at an animal shelter taught me how to stay calm, attentive, and compassionate around animals of all temperaments. I understand that every pet is different, and I always take time to learn their routines, comfort levels, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I always do my best to provide updates, communicate clearly, and care for every animal like they’re my own. Your pet will get lots of patience, attention, love, and responsible care with me — plus probably an embarrassing amount of compliments about how cute they are. I’m naturally very organized and good at managing my schedule, so I’m reliable when it comes to feeding times, check-ins, walks, playtime, and keeping pets on their normal routines. Starting in October, I’ll be attending dental hygiene school full time, so my weekday daytime availability will become very limited. However, I still expect to be available some evenings, nights, and most weekends for pet care. No matter how busy life gets, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I make sure any pet in my care gets consistent attention, patience, and dependable care. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to provide a safe, calm, and dependable experience for both pets and their owners. I am attentive to details, follow care instructions carefully, and make pet safety my top priority. Whether it's ensuring doors and gates are secure, monitoring a pet's behavior for any signs of stress, or maintaining their normal routine, I strive to create an environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Through years of pet sitting and my volunteer experience at PAWS Animal Shelter, I've learned the importance of patience, consistency, and building trust. I understand that every animal is different, and I take the time to respect their boundaries, comfort levels, and individual needs. I also believe trust is built through communication. I am happy to provide updates and photos during visits so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and receiving the attention they deserve while they're away. Above all, I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same level of care, kindness, and responsibility that I would hope someone would show to my own family members.

About: Reliability!! I dog sat for many families back in Florida while earning my bachelors/masters. While I don’t have a dog of my own I will treat yours like my own. I work Monday-Friday so I would be able to check-in/walk dogs in the evening. Most of my weekends are free so I would love to fill my time by spending it with pets! I will not be able to care for pets in my own home. However, I have dog sat for several families in their own home.

It is obvious Penny takes her work with animals very seriously and through all the holiday craziness it was so nice to not have to worry about our cat. She even stayed longer to love up on him. “I was glad Paris was available to watch my cat while I was traveling during the busy holiday season. It was a relief to know someone would check on Clover everyday, allowing her to stay in a familiar environment. Paris sent me lots of pictures which I really appreciated and provided updates on how things were going. She communicated well about her schedule so we could plan with flexibility and even stayed a bit longer on some drop ins to give extra attention to the kitty. She also asked questions when unsure and was great about responding to my messages, questions, and suggestions. Luckily after the first couple days, I didn’t feel as anxious about leaving my cat at home or needing to check in on her too much, which made for a more restful vacation. Paris showed she was comfortable with taking care of cats - feeding, watching behaviors, tidying the litter box, etc. My kitty gave her some trouble with taking pills, so we opted to just do meds in the food to be safe. Despite that hiccup, they made good friends quickly and got lots of cuddle time and some play sessions. I know Clover was happy to see her everyday for food and lap time. And I was happy to stay updated each day. Additionally, Paris did well managing the entry/exit and security of my house responsibly. She was kind to forgive the clutter and everything seemed in place when I returned. And I think our working together helped keep things as normal as possible for my cat while I was away. Of course we pet parents might always prefer to be the ones always watching after them, but it’s great to have good supplemental caregivers when you need them. If you’re in the area and need a pet sitter, I’d definitely consider working with Paris.”
