Experienced full time care!Clintonville, Columbus, OH

Hello! I'm Victoria (Tory). I live in a large home in Clintonville/Beechwold area, with a fenced in yard and quiet neighborhood. Pictures are in the photo collection. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. At this time, I am home all day. Very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to work with your schedule.

I've been pet sitting for 17 years professionally as well as for family and friends. Couldn't ask for a better job than to play with furry friends all day and night! I've had ferrets, rodents, birds, fish and lizards growing up in addition to my current cats and dogs.

I'm comfortable administering oral, topical and inject-able medications and have experience with raw diets and "nontraditional" feeding.

Please be honest about your dog's ability to be left alone for short periods of time and if they are crate trained or not. I would like to be open and honest about your dog's needs and see if I would be a good fit for everyone involved :)

Lastly, we require that all animals are treated for fleas and are up to date on shots. I highly recommend the influenza vaccine as well for all dogs with normal immune systems. If you have questions or health concerns, feel free to ask and I can try to accommodate your needs.

I'm insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Associates.

Whether you need doggie daycare while you are at work or 24-hour boarding when you leave town, we at Carolyn's Canine Care are most happy to provide private loving care for your precious pet in our home.

We offer a free consultation in our home to put your mind at ease that you have made the right decision for your precious pet’s care.

We are a mature husband/wife team of pet lovers who have cared for pets all of our lives. We are honest, trustworthy, reliable, and dependable. Our 1800 sq. ft. ranch-style home is pet friendly with a 3/4-acre fenced-in backyard that has plenty of room in which to safely roam. We are nonsmokers, and our home and yard are as chemical-free as possible. PLUS, we recycle dog waste through Green Scoop Pet (.com), and you can too!

Our situation is perfect for your dog because one of us is always at home. Our primary focus is your dog’s happiness, and we do our utmost to maintain your dog’s typical routine.

Our preferred time range for drop-offs is 7:30 am to 4 pm and pick-ups is 7:30 am to 5 pm. Please note that an extended pick-up time after an overnight may be subject to a daycare rate. WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.

We are an active family that loves to share our home with other pups while you're away. We have been caring for dogs in our home for the past 5 years and just love all of the different personalities they bring into our day to day lives. Our cat, Tony, is very dog savvy. Tony has a portion of the house that is just his to retreat to so no worries if your pup loves to chase cats. They'll never interact during their stay.

Why I love dog sitting

I have loved dogs all of my life. I have spent time volunteering at the Capital Area Humane Society walking dogs and keeping them engaged while they wait to find their forever home. I've learned so much about dogs and dog behavior over the years that I'm completely comfortable with all dogs I meet.

Meet my pets

We have a cat named Tony. He is very dog savvy and doesn't mind new dogs traipsing through the house. Tony has his own portion of our home to retreat to so no worries on them if they can't resist the chase.

About my yard

We have a fully fenced back yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. The dogs have plenty of room to romp about. During nice weather they come and go as they please. When the weather becomes unbearably hot the dogs love to spend quality time on top of the air conditioning vents. We're ok with that!

My experience administering medication

We have administered medications to all sorts of dogs. From the Labrador Retriever that just ate it with his food to the insulin injections of our most senior dog guest.

Why I love dog sitting

I've been a dog lover my whole life and I've had dogs while growing up & throughout adulthood. I currently only have a cat though. When my beautiful dog Chloe passed away she had been such a huge part of my life. I had her for 16 wonderful years, and I just haven't been able to bring myself to get another dog yet.

In addition to my own pets, I worked at a busy doggy daycare, boarding and rescue facility in Chicago for several years. I have experience with all different breeds, sizes and demeanors, and I'm knowledgable in basic training techniques.

Meet my pets

1 dog friendly cat, Stanley.

About my yard

I do have a fenced in backyard for lots of outside playtime, and I never leave a dog outside unattended.

Just Like Home!Columbus, OH

I'm that person who will cross the street specifically to pet a dog. My friends call me a crazy dog lady, but I know they're really the crazy ones for NOT loving dogs as much as I do. My two dogs, Bulliet and Baron, pretty much run my life and I love it. I even carried Bulliet in my wedding instead of carrying a bouquet. Because two dogs really isn't enough and because there are so many waiting to find their forever homes, my husband and I have also volunteered for a regional rescue and fostered eight dogs - just not all at once (even I have to draw the line somewhere!).

We have a standalone home, central AC, no human children, a large, fenced-in yard, and we're close to some trails that are perfect for long walks. Between my husband and I's schedule, our pups are not left alone for long periods of time. We're also happy to update you frequently with texts and pictures while your pup is enjoying a stay with us. Please feel free to ask any questions and we'll try to accommodate your requests. We hope to see your dog soon!

A Trusted Doggie Expert! :)Grandview, Columbus, OH

We are located in the heart of Grandview and would love to care for your pup!

First things first: SAFETY! Would you let your child have a multi-day sleepover without first meeting the family they’re staying with? Neither would we, which is why we don’t accept stays without conducting a meet and greet!

Take comfort in knowing that we only accept one dog (or dog family) during the week for overnight stays, and no more than three on the weekends. Your fur baby will be given individualized attention and cared for like one of our own and have the same love and attention you show them when they are at home. :)

We are committed to treating all dogs like family in this household! My wife and I have two dogs of our own, Max, a three year old, forty pound Labrador retriever mix who we rescued from the Guilford County Animal Shelter and Milton, a one-year old Chocolate lab.

Fear not if you have a large dog that can be overpowering--I am a large and able-bodied young man and have experience caring for, walking, playing, and feeding large dogs like Bullmastiffs, Saint Bernards and Great Danes. :)

Dogs will find consummate playmates in Max, Milton, me and my wife. Our home is full of compassion and caring for your furry friend/s as if they were our own.

We have a privacy fence and HUGE yard in Grandview so don't worry about your pup having plenty of space to play. Your pup will ALWAYS have access to fresh water whether they are inside or outside.

Why I love dog sitting

I have been a dog lover as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and some of my fondest memories as a child are playing with my two black lab/beagle mixes in my backyard. I often remember stepping in dog poop and my mom not allowing me to come inside until it was cleaned off. :)

Meet my pets

I have two dogs, Max and Milton. Max is a beautiful and very loving 5 year old Labrador retriever mix. Milton is a 3 year old Chocolate lab who adores other dogs.

About my yard

My backyard is a little more than a tenth of an acre. We have a 7ft tall privacy fence with locked entrances to deter unwanted visitors. There are trees in our backyard that provide an abundance of shade for hot summer days.

My experience administering medication

I am comfortable administering oral medication.

**Our drop in visits and house sitting rate are based on folks within 5 miles of us. We may consider pups located further away for an additional charge.**

Gracie's Bed and BiscuitNorthwest, Columbus, OH

In memory of our dog Gracie we are offering our service as a Bed and Breakfast style dog retreat. Our home is a calm and happy place. As your hosts we are dedicated to the comfort and care of your pets. We want to know all about your preferences in order to make the stay just to your liking. Our house is clean and comfortable. The back yard is shady and fenced. Our guests are welcome to sit on the furniture and we know they will enjoy the view!

Why I love dog sitting

We have both loved dogs since we were pups! We’ve had as many as three dogs at a time and they were always considered members of the family.

About my yard

The backyard is fenced and shady. A large deck overlooks a chemical free lawn. It’s a great place to explore and chase a squirrel.

My experience administering medication

Yes, if your dog will allow it. We can have a practice session with owners present to see how it goes.

A Family for Your Pup!Clintonville, Columbus, OH

Happy New Year!🎉

**dog walking in the Clintonville Beechwold area only

**we only host dogs in our home 35lbs and under

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am a stay at home mom with a love for all animals! We're conveniently located near the city in Clintonville, only about 20 minutes away from all surrounding Columbus areas. Our yard is completely free of chemicals and any plants that may be harmful to an animal if ingested. The yard offers plenty of shade and room to run and play, my two boys also help with the running and playing! I have two little ones, one 5 years old and the other 7 years old, who both love dogs and all animals alike. My mom has a long running history with bully breed rescue (30+ years) that my boys have grown up around. Both boys are comfortable being around dogs and know how to behave with them. I myself have grown up in a home that was a rescue for bully breeds, often living with double and triple the number of dogs than humans! I have a deep love for animals and hope to provide you and your pup a safe, comfortable and loving sitting experience.

We have a small, medium & large sized crate here for those dogs who prefer a crate to feel safe and/or are crate training, although I recommend bringing the dogs own crate with his or her own smells already inside. We allow any dog to be up on our furniture and welcome snuggles. However, if the owner does not allow the dog on the furniture at home we will honor that rule in our home as well, along with any other particular rules! Any items you wish to bring for your pup to feel more at home is encouraged and welcomed - no real bones or rawhides.

Of course any dog that we may watch will be informed of any other dog they may be around. We take UTD (up to date) on shots seriously as your dog may be in contact with other dogs. All dogs must also be on flea medication regularly.

I have 10+ years of experience taking care of puppies as well as knowing how to properly introduce and interact with dogs. Through our families bully breed rescue and volunteer work with local animal shelters, I was able to acquire and perfect these skills, so rest assured your pup friend is in good hands and will be safe and taken care of while you are away.

We offer frequent daily updates as well as videos and photos of your pup while they are visiting our home. We love to go on daily walks to one of the 5 local parks around our house. *** We will never take your dog to a dog park. ***

We would love to meet you and your pup friend and welcome all dogs into our family, pending that they are comfortable with children and interact well with them! While we love all dogs, I need to put my children's safety first not only for them but for the dog as well. We hope to hear from you! :)

Student/Housekeeper/Dog LoverWeinland Park, Columbus, OH

I believe that I would be a good choice because I'm home pretty regularly and I thoroughly enjoy spending time with animals. My partner, Alex works from home and would be here throughout the day to keep your pup company when I step out for work/class. In the past, I have worked at both a dog kennel and rescue facility for a few years and have raised dogs my whole life.

I have been on Rover for almost three years at this point and have established a method of caretaking that is effective in helping your pup feel at home with us. I'm a true dog lover and carry no preference for breed, age or ability; I’ve sat for pups as mighty as a 195 lb mastiff to a pair of tiny 2 lb, 3 month old cavipoos. I’m also very comfortable with administering medications and meeting extra needs for dogs with disabilities.

I would possibly take your pup to the dog park too (if you'd like and if time allows) and I’m pretty flexible with last minute requests and cancellations.

I am a student (Environmental Policy @ OSU) and I work as a housekeeper part time to pay the bills therefore my house is clean, puppy safe and outsmarted.

I have two dogs and both are friendly and happy poodle mixes. There's Miss Kitty (Cockapoo age 9) and Broadus (Yorkie Poo age 2).

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have ??
