About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life 🐾 For nearly 20 years, that love has shaped both my personal life and my work in animal welfare along with nonprofit work. I have a background in animal behavior, shelter medicine, dog training, and I’m Fear Free certified. About: I have experience pet sitting for neighbors and through a dog kennel. I love each and every animals I meet and will not leave until every need is met! I currently on summer break and have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I prefer to keep Sunday’s free. However, if your dog needs me I’ll be there! I currently have a gsp and take him on walks every morning. We have a large yard so he gets to go out and play often. When watching others pets I make sure to check on them at least three times a day. I tend to stay longer at night so they can wind down and get comfortable before I leave.

“I love my puppies more than anything, so naturally I don't trust just anyone to care for them. So I panicked when I had to go to a convention in Las Vegas. That's when a friend recommended Rover. Thankfully, out of the multitude of people on Rover, I found Emily. She, and her husband, have been truly wonderful in every respect. They took excellent care of my puppies, fed them on time, took them on walks, have them plenty of toys and stimulation, and sent amazing pics regularly.
