Hi, I’m Tyra! I have 9+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including work in professional kennel, daycare, boarding, and private pet-sitting settings. At Pet Suites, I completed and passed the required assessment to lead All Day Play groups, where I independently supervised large groups of either small or large dogs throughout the day. That experience taught me how to read canine body language, manage different play styles and temperaments, recognize when intervention was needed, and maintain a safe group environment. My background also includes feeding, exercise, sanitation, medication support, behavior monitoring, care documentation, and working with puppies, adult dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets with a wide range of personalities and needs. Today, I bring that professional experience into a more individualized style of care. My flexible schedule allows for frequent potty breaks, walks, enrichment, playtime, companionship, and regular photo and video updates so owners can stay informed and feel confident while their pets are with me.

Tyra took great care of Rocky! She was always responsive, kept me updated throughout his stay, and regularly sent photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Rocky had a great time playing with her dogs and came home happy and relaxed. It was clear that he was well cared for and got plenty of attention. Programa
Pet care is a major part of my daily routine, and I currently have a completely open and flexible schedule. This allows me to structure my day around the pets in my care and provide frequent potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I’m available during the week and on weekends, and I do my best to keep each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible.

Whether a pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, potty routines, and individual preferences. I supervise interactions carefully, pay attention to body language and behavior, and provide regular photo and video updates so owners can feel confident and connected.

Every pet’s day is tailored to their personality, age, and energy level. A typical day may include walks, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, feeding, relaxation, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For active dogs, I enjoy fetch, tug-of-war, interactive games, and outdoor walks. With owner approval, I also enjoy outings to nearby parks and trails. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I provide a calm environment with companionship, cuddles, and plenty of downtime.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide the best possible experience. Helpful information includes feeding and potty schedules, exercise needs, medications or allergies, favorite toys and treats, sleeping arrangements, behavior around other animals and people, leash manners, anxieties, triggers, resource guarding, escape tendencies, and anything else that helps me understand their normal routine. For pets staying in my home, it’s especially important for me to know how they typically interact with other dogs.
