🕒 How Pet Care Fits Into My Day As a part-time hairstylist with a flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my days around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m in and out throughout the day but rarely gone for more than a few hours at a time, which allows me to maintain a consistent, calm routine for the pets in my home. My younger Corgi, Roxy (age one), is only crated when we’re not home, while Fabio, our older Corgi, prefers more freedom—but both are fully crate trained. I also have multiple crate sizes available to safely and comfortably accommodate visiting dogs, depending on their size and needs. My home is quiet, child-free, and centered around animals. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my day—it’s part of my daily rhythm. From walks and playtime to rest and individualized care, your dog will be in a peaceful, safe, and loving environment while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment I take safety and trust seriously, and I’ve created a calm, secure environment in my home where dogs can feel truly at ease. I have a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, and dogs are never left outside unattended. Inside, I maintain a clean and structured space with multiple crate sizes available for comfort and safety when needed. I am a child-free home, and the noise level stays low throughout the day—making it an ideal environment for senior dogs or those who may be more sensitive or anxious in busier settings. I carefully manage introductions between my pets and yours, and I’m experienced in keeping animals separate if needed for comfort or safety. I follow all feeding, medication, and sleep routines exactly as provided and treat every dog like one of my own—with attentiveness, patience, and love. In case of a serious emergency, we are located very close to MedVet.

Information Lindsay W. would like to know about your pet

🐾 Important Information About Your Dog For the safety of all pets in my care, I do not accept dogs who show any signs of aggression—toward people, other dogs, or cats. My dogs are extremely friendly, playful, and well-socialized, and have never shown any signs of aggression. Because of this, I must be very cautious when welcoming new dogs into our home. If an incident does occur, you will be contacted immediately and arrangements will need to be made for pickup. Please be honest and thorough about your dog’s temperament, triggers, and any behavior concerns—especially around food, toys, crates, or new environments. I welcome dogs with quirks or sensitivities, but safety and transparency are non-negotiable. For doggie daycare clients, I do require a trial visit before booking ongoing care. This gives us all a chance to see how your dog adjusts and helps ensure they feel comfortable in the environment. Intro meetings are always encouraged before a first stay, especially when your dog will be interacting with mine. I want everyone—two- and four-legged—to feel safe and at ease, so a quick meet-and-greet can go a long way. Drop-offs and pick-ups are welcome and flexible, but I ask that we coordinate times in advance to keep things smooth and stress-free. Please also note: • Your dog must be house-trained (puppies in training are welcome with prior discussion). • Your dog must be crate trained or comfortable being crated when needed. • Your dog must be up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. • Please bring any supplies your dog may need, including food, medication, and comfort items. My goal is to provide a safe, peaceful, and happy space for every dog in my care—and that starts with clear communication and the right fit.

A typical day

🐾 A Typical Day in Our Home Our days start early around 5:30 AM with a potty break and breakfast—our routine begins when “dad” wakes up, even if I’m not quite ready to start the day yet! Once breakfast is done, the dogs usually settle in for a morning nap while I get ready for work. I leave for the salon around 10 AM, but I always come home between 11 AM and 1 PM for a lunch break, outdoor time, and a walk around the block. Roxy is crated while I’m away for short periods, but Fabio stays out—both are crate trained and comfortable with the routine. I typically work three days a week until 6 PM. Once I’m home, everyone eats dinner and we enjoy more outside time in the backyard, especially when the weather is nice. Half of our yard is beautifully shaded by tall pine trees, and there’s always fresh water available outside. Roxy loves to play fetch, while Fabio prefers to run alongside her and supervise the game. Evenings are relaxed—there’s plenty of indoor play, chews or bones to wind down, and lots of comfy spaces for resting. The dogs are allowed on furniture and welcome in my bed, although we adjust as needed depending on comfort and space. I’m flexible with where visiting dogs sleep and always make sure everyone feels safe and cozy. Throughout the day, there are plenty of potty breaks, time outside, and moments of one-on-one attention. Whether your dog is playful, laid-back, or somewhere in between, I’m here to make sure they feel right at home.

“Two Friendly Corgis & Cozy Care!”

Pet care experience

🐾 Pet Care experience Today, I share my home with two happy, well-socialized Corgis—Fabio and Roxy—and two gentle cats. I don’t have children, so my focus and energy are fully devoted to my pets and the dogs I care for in my home. I have a deep understanding of what it means to care for special needs dogs. My first Corgi, Floyd, began having seizures at just one year old and continued to experience them regularly—ranging from several a week to several a day—until he passed away at eight. He required an intensive medical routine that included seven medications a day on a strict schedule. I cared for him with complete dedication, and that experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, follow detailed care plans, and respond intuitively to what a dog needs—physically and emotionally. Because of that experience, I’m confident and fully comfortable handling dogs with medical needs, including timed medications, dietary restrictions, insulin, supplements, or other ongoing care. Your dog’s health and safety will always be treated with the same diligence and love I give my own. With both of my Corgis still young and playful, we’re also happy to welcome puppies, as long as they are crate trained or currently in the process of crate training. I understand the patience and consistency required during that phase, and I’m happy to support that routine while keeping everyone safe and comfortable. I exclusively offer care in my home and am happy to accommodate your dog’s individual needs. Whether your pup is active, aging, recovering, or just needs extra attention, I provide a clean, secure, and loving space with a fenced yard, daily walks, and plenty of affection. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, safe, and part of the family while you’re away.

Benny had a great day at Lindsay’s house, her dogs Fabio and Roxie kept Benny entertained. Lindsay sent updates and photos of Benny and they took very good care of Benny. Benny is exhausted from his play date. Will definitely rebook with Lindsay
