“Wade and Krissy's calm demeanor and their years of experience helped this first-timer leave her pup without hesitation. My dog came home happy and tired from all the playtime. Would definitely recommend.”

“Tania is such a kind and dependable rover friend. She was professional, easy to communicate with, and I can depend on her. My dog was taken excellent care of. She got to play in their backyard, take a walk on the greenway, and Tania updated me with pictures and videos even when I didn’t expect it!! I’m so thankful I’ve found another rover family I trust.”

About: I have cared for dogs for the past 9 years from all walks of life. From dogs that are at the end of their life stage and need a little extra TLC to young bloods that need to be taken out for nice long walks to be tuckered out. I have cared for fish, guinea pigs, chicks and fully grown chickens I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of spare free time to give each pet that care they deserve! I have reliable transportation so that will also not be an issue I can care for pets in my home or the owners home. There are parks near where I live and I have a back yard that would allow the dogs to feel at home. I can also care in their own respective location with walks around the neighborhood, feeding, checking to ensure the water bowl is full and picking up after the pet.

“My dog had a great time playing with their dog Beau during daycare! Austin and Morgan were very attentive and sent pics and texts throughout the day to let me know how she was doing. Really appreciated the extra effort to learn the individual personality, needs and schedule of my dog prior to her first time with them. I have already scheduled her for boarding as it was such a great fit!”

“Karisa was responsive and eager to take our last minute booking. We were so appreciative and our puppy Gracie seemed to have enjoyed herself. Will definitely re-book soon!”

About: My family and I have pet sat many dogs and cats and they all get along with my rescue boy. We are the #1 designated spot for our friends and family's pets while they're out of town. On occasion, we foster dogs with CBR. Our latest foster was a paraplegic dog that we had with us on and off for a year and a half. After intense rehab, many vet visits, etc. he finally regained use of his hind legs, running around chasing our goats. He has successfully been adopted. I have a cat with diabetes and another with thyroid problems, so I have plenty of experience administrating insulin injections, pills, and transdermal ear meds. Our rescue dog, Murray, arrived to us unadoptable, recovering from hyperactive extreme anxiety, and is now well trained and even walks off leash. I also have a flying squirrel. Yes, it's practically a zoo lol. I am home nearly all day every day. I do work very part time nearby, but the hours are flexible, so I have very open availability. I have a fenced-in backyard with 2 small Nigerian Dwarf goats. Inside, I have 2 cats and a dog. My cats aren't bullies and leave my dog alone. They mostly stay away when we have dog friends over. The goats do the same in the backyard.

“Grace and her husband are amazing with my little girl Bella! Every time I pick her up she is so exhausted, but happy; which means she had a great day! I love that they treat her like their own!”

“My dog Mochi absolutely loves his days with Molly! She’s the kindest and most accommodating sitter on this app. If you’re looking for a loving sitter who goes above and beyond, please book her!”

“Lyna always enjoys her stay with Meghan and Wesley. She looks forward to it when we pull into the driveway, and seems to have had a great time when we pick her up. We are fairly picky Rover users and will definitely continue using Meghan’s services!”

“Bonnie is very kind and has a calming personality. My pup seemed to have a great day with her. She enjoyed walks outside, playtime with new toys, and naps on her bed. I felt very comfortable leaving my Cavapoo in her care.”

“Absolutely amazing with Paisley! She has a lot of energy as a puppy and they handled it with grace! I received tons of photos and she looked so happy in all of them. A relief to find trust worthy people in which I knew she was in good hands!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for my entire life. I have pet sat for friends family and coworkers as well as had professional experience working at doggy daycares. I love all dogs no matter the size or breed and can work with any dog no matter how nervous or crazy they can be! I guarantee a full nights rest after I’m done taking care of your pup! I currently work part time. My schedule Varys but I tend to have more weekends off and I work more mornings than evenings. I can fit as much time as you need into your pup! I always offer one on one attention when taking care of dogs. Making sure to correct any unwanted actions such as jumping or nipping with love and treats rather than harsh punishment. I love to cuddle and make the dog feel welcomed and loved.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and could not love them more. As a recent graduate, I wish I could have a dog of my own but it’s not in the cards right now. I have pet sat for about 7 years and am confident in my ability to care for dogs of all ages (puppy - senior). I’d love to help out however I can! I have the summer free before I start my graduate program in August, so I should be available most days at any time you need. I am in apartment that has a large dog park and areas to walk your dog. I would prefer to do a drop-in visit since the dogs will be more comfortable in their own environment, but I am happy to help however I can.

About: I’ve had my own dog and cared for him for 12 years. Growing up, we had a family dog that I loved and helped care for as well! I’ve got experience with dogs of all ages and am happy to tailor your pets experience to your desires. I’m happy to provide training, having trained my own dog to the canine good citizen standards, or just reinforce whatever training your pup currently is undergoing. I’ve also had experience watching cats and am happy to provide care for them outside of my home. I am currently working from home on my personal small business and will have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and let them into my yard as needed. I live in a quieter neighborhood with safe places to walk and am also happy to take them to many of the locations I take my own dog for longer outings such as Lake Johnson or Lake Raleigh I have a small fenced in back yard where your dog and mine will be regularly let out to sniff and eliminate as needed. My own dog is taken on two long walks a day along with shorter walks to sniff and eliminate but am happy to accommodate what is needed for your dogs specific needs. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture and I can accommodate a dog that is crated. I do sleep upstairs as my place is two floors, but if your dog is uncomfortable going up stairs, I can stay on the first floor with them.

“My puppy Jinkx had so much fun with Sharon and his new puppy friends. Sharon's home is a great place for puppies to learn socialization, reinforce training, have fun and most importantly leave them exhausted at the end of the day. For the first time in 2 weeks. Jinkx slept through the night without waking up for a potty break. He's also gotten better with his nipping!”

West dog parents share their Rover experiences
Gracie was great with a bit of a last minute request! She was available quickly to schedule a meet and greet, and once she met our pup Oliver, we were immediately at ease. She took time to understand his needs and schedule, and made sure we were comfortable. She took great care of him for a daycare day, and sent us lots of pictures of him settling in great. We’ll definitely use Gracie again for our daycare needs!

Gracie's place is paradise for my dog. She gets to snore away on the bed, do her neighborhood watch duties with Glenwood on the porch, go on leisurely walks with lots of sniffing, and get affection from Gracie throughout the day. Paradise. If you've got an older or chill dog, know that they will be so cozy with Gracie and Glenwood.
