“Lillie took care of our dogs during a wedding, drove them to the venue when planned, even dressed them and kept them for us until the end of the celebration. She was reliable, easy to connect with the dogs and handle them. She was creative when problems presented themselves, I cannot praise her enough!”

“Darby is fantastic. She truly made our Mishka feel happy and loved. Its so important to see our dogs demeanor after time away and Mishka always looks content and well taken care of. Thank you Darby!”

About: I have had and lived with cats and dogs my entire life. I am more knowledgeable and most comfortable with cats, but I have experience taking care of dogs as well. I have experience with administering medicated eye drops, ear drops, and I know how to clean up after pets. I have experience with cats of all ages. I am a current graduate student at Western Carolina University getting myself through the summer with any odd jobs I can acquire. I am also working on my research, so I may be called to work in the lab on WCU's campus on random days. I am not able to take in pets to stay with me, as I live in an apartment complex that has a strict pet policy, and I also have my own pet cat in my space. When visiting pets in their home, I will respect their space and read their body language so as to not make them uncomfortable.
“Isabella is INCREDIBLE! So communicative, kind, and caring. She provided updates and adorable photos of our animals each day we were away. She was also kind enough to tend to some of our plants! I was able to rest easy knowing our home and its inhabitants were in her care. I would definitely recommend Isabella for anyone’s fur babies and intend to book her again!”
About: I had the wonderful opportunity to have pets (the majority being doggos) since I was four! I truly just love being around animals! I sadly can’t have any animals in my residence now hence why I am here, I do want to say that I will do my very best to make sure any pets are well taken care of and loved when I am pet sitting! I am looking forward to future opportunities!! As of right now my schedule is pretty open, especially with summer coming up. Mornings especially but, we can always speak further about that when figuring outs dates that are needed for sitting. As of right now, when I visit back home to see my mom I help her with our two dogs, Sandra and Zeus. I also help out with our chicks. My biggest thing is just communicating, if there are specific ways an animal needs to be looked after I am very willing to help I just would prefer we talk about it extensively, as well as making a list of priorities for the pets.
“Leigh was such a pleasure to work with! From the moment we met her we knew we had met the person that had the capacity and skill to care for our furry companions. Leigh communicated with us daily and she was great on letting us know her plan for each day. She took our dog Tig on several adventures and even took our cat outside for a look around. We could tell by the daily photos she sent that the animals felt very relaxed and cared for. Our house felt very settled and clean when we returned and it felt nice to come back and reconnect with the animals. I would highly recommend Leigh and I definitely plan on booking with her again. If you’re looking for a great person to work with, book Leigh! You will not be disappointed.”

“Tia did an absolutely outstanding job caring for my three German Shepherds. Anyone who has experience with the breed knows they require attentive, confident handling; and Tia delivered exactly that without missing a beat. My pups were fed on schedule, exercised regularly, and taken out for bathroom breaks consistently throughout their stay. Clearly, Tia took their routine seriously and treated them with genuine care. What really set Tia apart was her communication. She sent photos of the pups playing outside, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She also asked thoughtful follow-up questions about their care before I even had to bring anything up. This kind of proactive attention to detail tells you a lot about a sitter's professionalism and dedication. I will absolutely be booking with Tia again and would recommend her without hesitation to any pet owner, especially those with large or high-energy breeds. My fur babies were in great hands!”

“Ellie did an amazing job watching our home and caring for our dogs while we were out of town. I have a dachshund who is extremely picky on who she likes, and she absolutely loved Ellie unlike any other dog sitter we have seen. She is extremely communicative and we will absolutely be reaching back out to her.”

About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job! I work flexible part time jobs, so I am available both mornings and evenings, as well as weekends with notice! My current flexibility also allows for more daytime pet care, such as walks or check-ins. I have lots of experience with overnight pet care, and I know that trust is a big part of an animal feeling comfortable with a stranger in their space. I’m very calm and relaxed when I first meet an animal to give them space to come to me :)
“Thank you, Dixie and Norwood, for taking such great care of our boys (Sorrow and Bandit) and home!! You are the best!!! From frequent updates to fastidious cleaning, we could not ask for more kind or attentive care. Thanks, again!!”

About: Cats just seem to know I’m “one of their people.” 🐾 I’ve spent years caring for cats of all ages and temperaments — from playful kittens to wise seniors. I’m patient, gentle, and tuned in to their needs, whether that’s playtime, quiet company, or a little extra care. I’m also comfortable with the not-so-glamorous side of cat care: deep-cleaning litter boxes, keeping food and water fresh, and making sure meds are given on time. My goal is always to create a stress-free, cozy environment so your cat feels safe and happy while you’re away. I work part-time with kids and in a coffee shop, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. If I can be trusted with little ones, you can feel confident I’ll give your furry (or feathered!) baby the same love, patience, and attention. I make time every day to ensure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy — just like family. Whether I’m in my home or yours, my top priority is always your pet’s safety and comfort. I always ask about your safety policies, routines, and preferences so I can follow them closely — from feeding schedules to favorite toys and safe walking routes. Every pet is unique, so I make sure their care is tailored to their needs while keeping their environment secure and stress-free.
About: Growing up I’ve always owned dogs and I love taking care of my own dog who has high needs. I love walking dogs and always enjoy seeing new dogs roaming about. I have a very open schedule, and that is why I was ready to start with Rover to kind of control my own scheduling. My week is open for plenty of dog walks or dropping visits for pets. I am excited to start working with you. I have one dog and two cats. I walk my dog at least five times a day. She is a terrier and needs extra exercise. I have two cats who are indoor. I change their litter box weekly and scoop it daily. Keeping a good hygiene for cats is extremely important for your home so I value that very much. My pets names are Oreo for my dog Millie and pumpkin on my cats.

Lillie stayed at our house for a week with our pittie, who has medication and behavioral needs. From the get go, Lillie was open and willing to do the things we needed. And while we were away, Lillie communicated so well and put us at ease. I was so surprised by how seamless the whole experience with Lillie felt! I highly recommend her for pet sitting!!

Brinkley is an incredible pet sitter. We have zero worries when she is with our dog and two cats. She's so good at communicating, we never have to ask for updates or photos which makes it so easy to just relax when we aren't at home knowing that our pets are well loved and cared for in our absence. We can just tell that our dog has been loved and has been able to relax while we are away, that's a huge plus for us. So happy we found Brinkley and so happy to book her again in the future.

Ellie did an amazing job watching our home and caring for our dogs while we were out of town. I have a dachshund who is extremely picky on who she likes, and she absolutely loved Ellie unlike any other dog sitter we have seen. She is extremely communicative and we will absolutely be reaching back out to her.
