Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I follow their routines to minimize stress, ensure secure spaces, and provide plenty of attention. I’m vigilant about pet-proofing, keeping food and hazardous items out of reach, and following any special care instructions. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or medication administration, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and familiar environment so pets feel happy and at ease while their owners are away.

Information Lillie V. would like to know about your pet

Before pet sitting, it’s important to know: - Daily Routine – Feeding schedule, bathroom breaks, exercise needs. - Health & Medical Info – Medications, allergies, vet contact info. - Behavior & Temperament – Social habits, fears, aggression triggers. - Favorite Activities & Toys – What keeps them happy and engaged. - Commands & Training – Any specific words or hand signals they respond to. - House Rules – Furniture rules, leash preferences, crate training. - Emergency Plan – What to do if something unexpected happens. This helps ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for the pet, their owner, and me!

A typical day

Each day starts with morning check-ins, where I greet the pets, ensure they have fresh food and water, and give them some love and attention. Then, it's time for a morning walk or play session, depending on the pet’s needs. For dogs, this might mean a fun walk around the neighborhood or a game of fetch. For cats, it could be interactive play with toys or some cuddle time. Throughout the day, I keep pets engaged with fun activities like: - Walks and outdoor play (for dogs who need exercise). - Tug-of-war, fetch, or hide-and-seek to keep them entertained. - Puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games to stimulate their minds. - Cuddle and relaxation time for pets who love affection. - Enrichment activities like scent games or agility training for extra stimulation. Midday, I ensure they get potty breaks, meals, and water refills. If needed, I administer any medications or follow any special care instructions. In the evening, we wind down with a final walk, some quiet time, and bedtime routines to keep them comfortable. I also send photo and video updates to owners so they can see how much fun their pets are having!

Lillie was able to help us out on short notice and took great care of Zander and Ziva. Definitely recommend and will happily book again! We received frequent checkins and plenty of cute pics of the pups.

Lillie stayed at our house for a week with our pittie, who has medication and behavioral needs. From the get go, Lillie was open and willing to do the things we needed. And while we were away, Lillie communicated so well and put us at ease. I was so surprised by how seamless the whole experience with Lillie felt! I highly recommend her for pet sitting!!
