To top things off, one of our dogs injured herself the week we were leaving and needed medications to help with healing and pain management. Sol took great care with our pup who needed medications and kept us up to date on when she had had her doses and when she had completed them. He also took care to not exercise her too soon, at our request, and kept us up to date on her condition once he did start walking her. About: I had the wonderful opportunity to have pets (the majority being doggos) since I was four! I truly just love being around animals! I sadly can’t have any animals in my residence now hence why I am here, I do want to say that I will do my very best to make sure any pets are well taken care of and loved when I am pet sitting! I am looking forward to future opportunities!! As of right now my schedule is pretty open, especially with summer coming up. Mornings especially but, we can always speak further about that when figuring outs dates that are needed for sitting. As of right now, when I visit back home to see my mom I help her with our two dogs, Sandra and Zeus. I also help out with our chicks. My biggest thing is just communicating, if there are specific ways an animal needs to be looked after I am very willing to help I just would prefer we talk about it extensively, as well as making a list of priorities for the pets.

About: I have grown up always having multiple family dogs at a time and cared for them independently from a very young age. Because of this long term experience, I have cared for the entire age-range from puppies to elderly. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, taking care of them, playing with them, and making them happy! I also know that dogs can tell who “dog people” are and feel more comfortable with them - I am always the person that dogs come up to and hang around by at the party! I am currently in graduate school so my schedule can be a bit wonky, but I can do morning check-ins or walks before 9am or after around 6:00pm any day of the week. I am most flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and on certain weekends. I have cared for escape-artist dogs in the past and know the proper way to enter/exit a home to minimize risk of them bolting, and how to hold on to a leash with backup support for unexpected pulling. Having treats that your dogs like available to help with crating or other parts of the check-in or walking process may also be very helpful.
“Dixie and her husband took care of my 5 mos old puppy for 7 days. They took care of Kirby like he was theirs. At one point Kirby had a bad night( anxiety from his parents leaving) and her husband stayed up with him most all night just trying to keep him happy and make him feel safe I will definitely use them again. Dixie stopped by a few days later to pick up something she had left and Kirby went crazy when she came in. He was very excited to see her and was jumping all over her so I would take that as his seal of approval too.”
About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job!
