“Grey was awesome! He asked all the right questions, which helped put us and Pawlo at ease. He was genuinely sweet and gentle with him. We are looking forward to work with Grey again!”

“Ginger was great. Arrived early and took very good care of my dog. Sent me text pictures during the stay. I could tell that Jazz really liked her. The stay was for just a few hours to allow me to attend a social event, but I was happy to pay, the full overnight charge as Ginger was very professional, very pleasant and indeed very reliable. She would be my first choice in the Highlands/Cashiers NC area when I am traveling there. MKW.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old and I have grown up with all kinds. I recently created a family with kitties as well and I couldn't be more excited to meet more furry friends! I love caring for my pet—daily walks, playtime, and cuddles make my routine fun and rewarding! 🐾 It’s the best part of my day and always puts me in a great mood. Knowing they’re happy and healthy makes everything worth it! Right now I have a kitty and a goldfish so my home is curated perfectly for little animals to play and cuddle and enjoy all the sights from my windows.

“We had Katelyn watch our 2 golden retrievers for the first time for a week when we were out of town. She came prior for a visit to get to know her and introduce her dog to ours, and she was well behaved and the dogs got along great. As a matter of fact it was a good distraction for our anxiety dog who has trouble with thunderstorms, gunshots and fireworks to have a new playmate. Katelyn did well with dealing with Winston’s thunderstorm issue as well as a wounded paw and Bella had a cyst that was problematic. Katelyn stayed overnight and took care of our chickens and fish pond, watered plants and garden as well. She was respectful of house rules, was neat and tidy and sent us wonderful update messages and photos daily so we knew the dogs were doing well. I would definitely hire Katelyn again. She was wonderful with our pets and home.”

“Morgan was fabulous with my dog and cat! They were both given lots of attention and love while I was out of state. Morgan was also very flexible with changes as they arose. I will be using her again!”

“Dixie was wonderful! We were able to rest easy while travelling, knowing that our dog was in such good hands. If you're looking for a sitter in the area, your search is now over because you have found the best!”

“Brooklin was wonderful with my pets!! She took excellent care of them & sent lots of pics/videos, which I appreciated. It’s a huge relief for me to know I could trust her with my babies. I will definitely ask Brooklin to dog/cat sit again.”

“Oh my goodness there needs to be 100 stars. She is phenomenal. Our dog received the best treatment. She is so knowledgeable about the proper nutrition he needed and the overall care of him. I really learned alot about caring for our senior dog. Her personality is just remarkable. You want go wrong with getting her for your furbabies.”

“Brinkley was such a great sitter to our dogs and cat! She was very kind, communicative, and sent us pictures while we were away. We knew our pets were in good hands, and we would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!”

“Kary did a wonderful job with our Border Collie, Raven and cat, Rey. Our dog is very touchy and does not respond well to other people. Katy seemed to be very successful with getting her to potty, and I believe Raven was nice. We were so happy this worked out. Kary also left a very detailed note about her house sitting in our home. I loved the note about how everything worked out while she stayed in our home. Kary showed up on time, provided numerous potty breaks, food schedule was documented. I would recommend Kary to everyone. We also loved the pictures, information about how she cleaned everything prior to her leaving. Our fur babies were well taken care of during her stay in our home.”

About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but over the passed couple of years it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Trillium, Cullowhee, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I've done puppy care and senior care as well so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! I have a fenced in yard but I still walk dogs around my neighborhood as well. I treat them like they're my own so they get lots of lovin. Sometimes we go to the State Park too! If they like car rides I'll take them to check my mail or little errands.
