About: With over seven years of hands-on experience caring for animals, I bring patience, compassion, and expertise to every pet I care for. I’ve spent three years working in a kennel, learning to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I know how to train basic commands. I’m also studying to become a veterinary technician, so I have a growing knowledge of animal health and wellness. I am experienced in administering medications orally, topically, and intramuscularly (IM), ensuring your pet’s treatment is safe and stress-free. Your pet will be cared for with love, attention, and professionalism. I currently work full-time on weekdays as a kennel shift lead, but I’d love to welcome a few furry friends into my schedule! My available hours will vary during weekdays, so please message me to converse more on that topic. I rarely work weekend shifts, so those hours are more flexible! At my home, I have an extra room that can be used for pet care, and depending on your dog’s personality and comfort level, they may have free range of the house. I also offer care in clients’ homes, approaching each visit with respect, attentiveness, and care to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

About: I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters when I have the free time, I grew up with dogs, and enjoy watching my friend's pets so I figured I would try this out for the summer! I am looking for a post grad job right now so I have a lot of free time. Your dog would be my number one priority. I keep a checklist on my phone of what and when to feed the dogs and try to get a least a mile in on walks.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and have had a wide variety of pets. I am comfortable taking care of senior pets puppies and ones that require special needs. I have a flexible lifestyle and flexible scheduling and can provide the needed time to care for your pet and will provide updates on a consistent basis. I have a large yard and will keep pets on leash if required but I am located in a rural area a good distance from any major road.

I have several little ones, but one in particular came from a really bad abuse situation. Ginger had him eating out of her hand in no time! I was out of town for 2 days and returned home to calm, happy kitties and pups, my home was tidy, everything was locked up, and I could just go right back into my work routine without any worries or delays. Her value as a home and pet sitter gives me the ability to be away for work and know that my home and animals are being well cared for.”

About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but over the passed couple of years it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Trillium, Cullowhee, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I've done puppy care and senior care as well so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! I currently don’t have a fenced in yard but I will walk around my neighborhood and have a decent sized backyard. I treat your babies like they're my own so they get lots of lovin. Sometimes we go to the State Park too! If they like car rides I'll take them to check my mail or little errands.

I also have spent the last five years fostering animals with the Humane society as I lived in Asheville and completed my schooling. About: Hello, my name is Nick. I have been working with dogs for a long time and it is one of my passions. I have two dogs of my own one named Nala whose breeds we don’t know but she is a sweetheart who loves everyone and another named Stewy, he is an Australian Shepherd and Husky mix and he also loves socializing with other dogs. I also have experience volunteering at a local shelter. I enjoy getting to meet and interact with new dogs and your dog will be in great hands! Pet care is a regular part of my daily and weekly routines. I have my own dogs who love socializing with other pups. We have separate rooms we can put our dogs in if your pup would rather enjoy some alone time! I have a balcony which is safe and enclosed which the dogs will always have access to as well as access to a fenced in dog park. He is very sweet and playful and is not aggressive whatsoever!
