About: Caring for animals is something that runs in my family both my mother and my aunt are deeply involved in various rescues including but not limited to puppers, cats, even spiders of all shapes and sizes. We treat our fur babies like one of us and they are definitely part of the family. We will spend lots of time together walking through open fields and woods playing fetch if they are into those kinds of things I’m also ok with just sitting and sun bathing, we go fishing if the weather is nice. They will never have to worry about being alone or being forgotten or scared because I will be there any time they need. Lap dogs and cuddle buddies are always welcome !!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I have worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals in all shapes and sizes. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! Animal happiness and safety is a main priority of mine. I am looking to take care of your animals part time and as needed! I have plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs and cats! I have 3 dogs currently, a shepherd mix, husky mix and a mini pin doberman alongside 2 cats! We have a large fenced in yard which allows us to let our dogs get their energy out and enjoy some time alone outside, while we continue to keep a close eye on them. The dogs are never out of my sight, I know how mischievous they tend to be.

“I just moved to South Carolina a month ago and had to be away a couple of days this past weekend. I was quite anxious having to find someone to stay in my home and take care of my sweet, Nala. She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

About: I worked with dogs literally my whole life. I've grown up with no less then 3 dogs in the home. Dogs and all other animals are family. I believe in tender love and care is how to treat any kinda animal. I'm fairly active on rover. Dogs help me with dealing with this issues I've felt with since I was a teenager. I'm willing to take orders from the owners for their dogs. I don't mind cleaning up after a dog. I'm willing to give the dogs a bath if needed. I don't mind feeding. I'm hoping to one day become a vet tech as I love to help every animal I can. Furbabys are the best. I work pnr atm so im trying my best to cover costs of my living wage and what better way then to do what I truly love to do and that's taking care of animals. What ever is needed of me there is no such thing as a weird request when it comes to your fur babies . I'd be more then happy to make ur fur baby feel safe as much as possible, walks, play time, dog parks whatever is needed to make sure ur fubaby feels at home.

“It was wonderful to have Kyle take care of Stormie, we knew when we got home & Stormie was so happy that Kyle had done a great job. Kyle is great at communicating and following care instructions for Stormie. He is also a very compassionate care giver and it shows when he meets your pet. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
