About: Caring for animals is something that runs in my family both my mother and my aunt are deeply involved in various rescues including but not limited to puppers, cats, even spiders of all shapes and sizes. We treat our fur babies like one of us and they are definitely part of the family. We will spend lots of time together walking through open fields and woods playing fetch if they are into those kinds of things I’m also ok with just sitting and sun bathing, we go fishing if the weather is nice. They will never have to worry about being alone or being forgotten or scared because I will be there any time they need. Lap dogs and cuddle buddies are always welcome !!

About: I’ve had several dogs of my own and lived with others: lab/pit mix, pits, two German Shepherds, a Great Dane, a friendly chihuahua, and an evil chihuahua. I’ve rescued dogs off the street, and am all around good with animals. I have a job that gives me a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I do travel from time to time, which is why I don’t have a pup of my own. I can be whatever your dog needs. If he’s old, we can relax together; full of energy? We can throw sticks around and run. Small and skittish? Food is a great incentivizer to build trust. I’m looking to make some extra cash and enjoy the company of your pets. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
