“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was really young and always wanted to get into the field of working with animals. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from dogs to bunnies to guinea pigs and almost all of them have lived a very long life. I’m always excited to see any animal and work with them no matter what kind they are. I look forward to seeing every animal that comes my way and taking care of them as if they wear my own. I am currently working a part-time job, but I hope to transition to make this my part-time job. About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

Her space is perfect for them: it's spacious with a fenced backyard. They even came back smelling really well after ten days with her, as shen cleaned them with baby wipes. And she gifted them with special doggie home made cookies. Michelle really loves dogs and I am very comfortable leaving my loved ones with her.”

About: I’ve cared for animals in a wide range of environments, from farms on the Big Island of Hawaii to horses in Appalachia and North Florida. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals, (including caring for more than 30 pets in the Asheville area in one summer alone!) I’m dependable, grounded, and comfortable working independently. As a mother currently studying social work, I value calm communication, consistency, and creating a safe, relaxed environment for both pets and homes. I understand that every animal has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels, and I aim to provide attentive, trustworthy care that helps pets feel secure while their owners are away. I’m also happy to include plant watering and basic plant care during visits when needed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m local to the Lake Junaluska and Waynesville area and have a flexible schedule, especially during the summer while school is out. I’m able to dedicate consistent time and attention to walks, drop-ins, feeding routines, and companionship throughout the day. Because I live nearby, commuting is easy for me, which helps me stay reliable and responsive for clients. I enjoy creating calm, steady environments for animals and genuinely value the trust involved in caring for someone’s pets and home. I currently provide care in clients’ homes so pets can remain comfortable in the environment they already know and trust. I understand how important consistency, routine, and familiarity are for animals while their owners are away. I aim to maintain a calm, clean, and dependable environment by carefully following feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and household preferences. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, communicative throughout each stay, and attentive to both pet safety and home security.
