For many years me and my family fostered cats through Purr Partners and we took care of kittens as well as many spicy kitties. About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
