“Sol is an incredibly thoughtful and caring sitter. We were traveling a good distance away from home, and naturally anxious about leaving our animals behind. To top things off, one of our dogs injured herself the week we were leaving and needed medications to help with healing and pain management. Sol took great care with our pup who needed medications and kept us up to date on when she had had her doses and when she had completed them. He also took care to not exercise her too soon, at our request, and kept us up to date on her condition once he did start walking her. Sol was a great communicator while watching our animals, and he sent us such amazing pictures of our pets. They definitely didn’t seem to miss us that much! We would absolutely have Sol care for our animals while away again!”

About: We are a family of multiple dogs including a variety of sizes and breeds. I’ve also been a foster mom for rescue agencies for many years. Between both I have a wide experience range with breeds, sizes and temperaments. I work full time but don’t go in until 8, have a very flexible lunch schedule and am off at 4:30. This allows for a variety of times through the day to attend to any animals needs. I care for any pets the same way I care for my own. And to me, my pets are my family. I treat the animals and their homes with respect and love, as I would want my own to be treated.

About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job! I work flexible part time jobs, so I am available both mornings and evenings, as well as weekends with notice! My current flexibility also allows for more daytime pet care, such as walks or check-ins. I have lots of experience with overnight pet care, and I know that trust is a big part of an animal feeling comfortable with a stranger in their space. I’m very calm and relaxed when I first meet an animal to give them space to come to me :)

About: I have take care of dogs of varying size and breed. My friends and family have always been able to rely on me to walk, feed, and bath their dogs when they are out. As a college student, I help out with my friends' pets with play and care. When I am home for breaks and holidays, I am the main caretaker of my dog Luna. She goes for occasional walks, gets baths, and is taken care of on a consistent schedule. At home, I have a fenced yard and a lovely dog to keep yours company. I also have crates if needed and snacks for the dogs. There are toys and such to play with as well!

About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. About: **Notice** Right now I'm only able to service Bryson City and parts of whittier. No bad driveways due to vehicles I have experience with animals of all kinds. I love them all. I previously worked at an animal shelter for 6 yrs. My dogs have all been trained. I absolutely love spending time with animals. Their care and well being comes first. I have worked with obedience trainers in the past and usually when im on a walk with a dog im not just walking them im usually incorporating obedience work with the walk. Positive reinforcement is how i train. I try to make my time with the animals fun and exciting. I dont want the dog to be bored and miss their owners while they are away. At times, my grandkitty Kitana may be here, and she’s calm, gentle, and used to sharing space with visiting pets.
