“Sol is an incredibly thoughtful and caring sitter. We were traveling a good distance away from home, and naturally anxious about leaving our animals behind. To top things off, one of our dogs injured herself the week we were leaving and needed medications to help with healing and pain management. Sol took great care with our pup who needed medications and kept us up to date on when she had had her doses and when she had completed them. He also took care to not exercise her too soon, at our request, and kept us up to date on her condition once he did start walking her. Sol was a great communicator while watching our animals, and he sent us such amazing pictures of our pets. They definitely didn’t seem to miss us that much! We would absolutely have Sol care for our animals while away again!”

About: Growing up I’ve always owned dogs and I love taking care of my own dog who has high needs. I love walking dogs and always enjoy seeing new dogs roaming about. I have a very open schedule, and that is why I was ready to start with Rover to kind of control my own scheduling. My week is open for plenty of dog walks or dropping visits for pets. I am excited to start working with you. I have one dog and two cats. I walk my dog at least five times a day. She is a terrier and needs extra exercise. I have two cats who are indoor. I change their litter box weekly and scoop it daily. Keeping a good hygiene for cats is extremely important for your home so I value that very much. My pets names are Oreo for my dog Millie and pumpkin on my cats.

Growing up around animals has taught me how important patience, responsibility, and kindness are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m a university student working toward my bachelor’s degrees and I also work as a caregiver for older adults. My schedule can be busy, but I’m good at planning ahead and making time for pet care. I’m generally available around my school and work schedule, especially for walks, drop-ins, and spending time with pets. I’m also active and enjoy hiking and being outdoors, so I’d be happy to give dogs some extra exercise and playtime! I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and playtime. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs and will keep owners updated so they know how their pets are doing. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

This was our first time using Rover and being able to travel with peace of mind that our boy was at home made our trip so much more enjoyable. We came home to a very happy boy and a clean house. About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. I know that may sound cheezy but I am an avid animal lover. Being able to take care of your animal would put a huge smile on my face ( and your) knowing they are healthy and happy in my care. I give lots of love and cuddle, watch them play, take them on walks, and of course feed them, and play with them. Administering medicine is also a skill I hold.
