About: I had the wonderful opportunity to have pets (the majority being doggos) since I was four! I truly just love being around animals! I sadly can’t have any animals in my residence now hence why I am here, I do want to say that I will do my very best to make sure any pets are well taken care of and loved when I am pet sitting! I am looking forward to future opportunities!! As of right now my schedule is pretty open, especially with summer coming up. Mornings especially but, we can always speak further about that when figuring outs dates that are needed for sitting. We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. I can take long walks with your pets. I also provide medication in food, but would prefer not to stick my fingers in mouths! (I am comfortable administering oral medications to cats.) I have so many because I constantly update owners with photos of their furry friends! I will provide at least one photo a day of your pet while you're away - so you have peace of mind about how things are going. I do ask that owners send me written pet care instructions, including their preferred veterinary clinic and an emergency contact number. I'll verify this information with you during a pre-planned meet & greet prior to petsitting. I can devote attention to your pet in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, as agreed upon during our meet & greet. I am a researcher at the local university, so will not have weekdays off. I will gladly spend full days on the weekends with you furry friend! I offer my services at client's homes, as this is less stressful for pets in general. While in your home I am very respectful of your things and space. My schedule varies day-to-day! Please reach out to figure out if your needs will be a good fit with my availability during the week. On weekends I am available over the course of the day. When in the client's home I am respectful of their space and will do my due diligence to make sure that indicated tasks are completed to your satisfaction. About: My whole life has revolved around my passion and love for animals. From volunteering at my local animal shelter, working at luxury pet resorts to working on a Farm I have had experience with animals of all sizes. In the future I hope to become a certified dog trainer and I am already on my way to it. I am dog and cat CPR certificated. I have years of experience caring for all sizes and age groups of pets. About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
