About: (Previously known as AJ) I am a lifelong animal lover with experience in dog, cat and some limited horse care. With a natural affinity for animals, I enjoy working with many different critter personalities and always honor and meet any animal where they are at. I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your fur kids- I use a great attention to detail to do my very best to enrich any animal’s life with all of the information on hand, rather than taking a cookie cutter approach. If I need clarification, I am not afraid to ask. My number one priority is always your pet’s health and safety. It would be an absolute privilege to help care for your beloved family members! Please feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you for your time! My schedule is fairly flexible as I work part-time at night. Please reach out with your needs and we can try to work something out! I am comfortable offering services in your home, I am not able to offer services in my home at this time due to having three doggos in my house! In your home I would start with questions helping me get familiar with your pet’s routine, their normal vs abnormal behaviors, and any logistical tasks needed in my role to ensure their heath and happiness as well as yours.
About: I love working with animals! I’ve been pet sitting for my neighbors and friends since I was a kid. I have a lot of experience taking care of both dogs and cats! My schedule is very flexible! I am taking classes at Western Carolina University, but anytime I am not in class or doing work, I would love to meet your pets! I care greatly about the well-being and happiness of all pets! I will do my very best to keep your pet(s) safe, entertained, and happy while you are away! I just graduated from Western Carolina University, and plan on moving to Raleigh, NC in a few months. Rover is an awesome part time gig for me to save up for moving across the state! I will always do my very best to make sure that the pets are safe and happy! I am not currently able to pet sit in my own home, but I am more than willing to do anything I need to ensure your pet gets the best care they need in your home!
“Leah has been walking my dog for a few weeks now and my dog loves her! She is always attentive, responsive, and on time. Getting updates about my pup from Leah is the best part of my workday! She always makes sure that she does all of her business and has fresh water which is so helpful with the long hours I work. Thank you Leah!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

I have plenty of time to in incorporate more walks and pet time into my routine. I have a large yard where my dogs run but I am very used to working with dogs in different environments; I have cared for my golden retriever mix in an apartment setting as well as in a neighborhood. I walk my dogs every day through out the neighborhood and spend plenty of time outside. One of my dogs has hypothyroidism and takes medication daily, has certain dietary restrictions, and needs additional exercise; so I am used to being extra attentive regarding my dogs lifestyle.

About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job! I work flexible part time jobs, so I am available both mornings and evenings, as well as weekends with notice! My current flexibility also allows for more daytime pet care, such as walks or check-ins. I’m very calm and relaxed when I first meet an animal to give them space to come to me :)

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old. As soon as I was trusted with the responsibility, I was all in. Dogs have been a joyful and consistent part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra gentleness. I understand how important routine, positive reinforcement, and consistency are for helping dogs feel safe and secure. As a healthcare worker, I bring an added level of attentiveness, responsibility, and calm patience to the dogs in my care. I’m detail-oriented, observant, and committed to making sure each dog’s physical and emotional needs are met. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs - I truly engage with them. Whether that’s structured walks, playtime to burn energy, or relaxed companionship, I tailor my care to your dog’s unique personality. You can expect dependable communication, photo updates, and a sitter who genuinely enjoys every tail wag along the way. 🐾 My job has me working three days a week, which means the other four days I’m fully available and dedicated to caring for pups! On my off days, I have flexible availability for walks and drop-ins. Even on my working days, I’m organized and intentional with my schedule, and I only accept bookings I know I can give proper time and attention to. My goal is to provide consistency, communication, and peace of mind so you can feel confident your dog is well cared for. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. You can trust that I will treat both your dog and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.
