About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.

About: As someone who is hardworking and detail-oriented, I feel that I am up to the task of caring for all kinds of pets. From a young age I've worked with dogs, cats, small rodents, and even horses! Some even call me the "animal whisperer." Grooming, walking, playing, feeding, providing fresh water regularly, giving medication orally or with food, overnight stays, and cleaning up after animals are some of the tasks I've performed throughout my time caring for these beloved fur friends. I'm free every day of the week, preferably any time after 10 AM but also willing to negotiate times of care that fits both you and your pet's needs! I make sure to respect other's property and belongings when housesitting or petsitting for pet parents. Keeping spaces clean, tidy, and how I found it is something I find to be important when given the trust of others to be in their spaces. I'm always willing to learn and adapt to your pet's needs, environment, and behaviors.

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. I can care for pets most mornings and evening, and several mid days a week! Every client is different, I understand you have certain rules for your babies and I am more than willing to listen to them! Need your baby to walk for 40 minutes? Let’s get our walk in! About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. I know that may sound cheezy but I am an avid animal lover. Being able to take care of your animal would put a huge smile on my face ( and your) knowing they are healthy and happy in my care. About: Growing up, I had always been very involved in the care of our family pets which made my love for all animals so strong from a young age. I have two dogs, a cat, and 7 reptiles:) I have watched pets on many occasions for my family, the families I nannied for, family friends, and clients from Rover. I understand that each fur baby has their own personality and I am always respectful of their boundaries and excited to get along and play!! I am comfortable with any size, age, and type of pet. “I’m a little late adding this, as I’m still learning the Rover platform, but wanted to share our experience after the first couple of weeks working with Cheyenne. We hired Cheyenne through Rover to walk my parents’ dogs while my dad recovers from knee surgery, and we had a great experience right from the first two walks. Both Cheyenne and I are new to Rover, so it took a few tries, but we’re figuring it out together. Cheyenne was quick to respond when I first reached out and was flexible in adjusting her schedule for a meet and greet, which she initiated. That made getting everything set up feel easy from the start. I had originally scheduled two 60-minute walks for both dogs, but ended up needing to change it to just one dog. Our second dog is a new rescue Mountain Feist (about 25 pounds), and she wasn’t home for those first two walks. Cheyenne adjusted without any issues and was very accommodating. Our other dog a Retriever (about 40 pounds) took to her right away and clearly enjoyed the walks. She completed two full hour-long walks and sent updates and photos each time, which gave us peace of mind. For the second week, Cheyenne had some vacation plans come up, but she still made the effort to fit in one 60-minute walk before leaving. We really appreciated her willingness to work with our schedule and make sure our dog was taken care of. So far, she’s been reliable, easy to communicate with, and a great help during a time when we really needed it.”

About: Hello! I have been pet sitting professionally full-time for 6 years. I have fewer repeat customers shown on my Rover profile than some people here because clients usually choose to stop using Rover to save money and work independently with me. I work remotely and am pretty much always home; gardening and hanging with dogs ❤️. I have a half wrap porch with two steps to an enclosed grassy yard. I also go almost daily to the Women's Museum Park to walk my dog (and maybe yours too) where they have access to the river (if you approve, of course). Animals are family and will get copious amounts of doting attention. If they want to play with my dog, she is game! If they don't get along with other dogs there is plenty of separation options as well. I'm also perfectly content to come to you and sit your animals in their home environment. Through the years I've handled all sorts of "animal emergencies" with calm and collected care. I've loved a dog from her puppy days through her geriatric years with unending tenderness and welcome you to entrust your puppy-older dog to my care. Any special needs are no problem. I have administered injected medications. I have given pills successfully and regularly to a Houdini of a dog! If he/she needs it he/she will receive it. I am available evenings, weekends and holidays as well. I often take dogs from multiple households, but you can request no other dogs during your dog's stay. I have a grassy fenced side yard and a half wrap around sunning deck. I do not leave dogs unattended outside, but for the most part they can go in and out all day. I work from home. Occasionally I will need to be away for up to 5hrs at a time, but I will know my schedule when booking. I have a fenced in yard and a 40 lb female terrier mix. She has been dog sitting with me for 7 years now and is adaptable to other dogs' personalities. There is plenty of room for separation if needed as well.

About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job! I work flexible part time jobs, so I am available both mornings and evenings, as well as weekends with notice! My current flexibility also allows for more daytime pet care, such as walks or check-ins. I have lots of experience with overnight pet care, and I know that trust is a big part of an animal feeling comfortable with a stranger in their space. I’m very calm and relaxed when I first meet an animal to give them space to come to me :)

About: I’ve owned cats since I was 5 and dogs since I was 10. Both puppies and seniors, so I have worked on taking care of them for a long time! I have also gained experience in the pet care world through working at a dog daycare! I’m currently attending school full time and work part time, but I am able to do evening and early morning walks! My availability does not change much unless I’m away from school! I will not be able to take care of dogs in my home because of the two others I already have. In others home, I will be able to follow details given. I can let dogs out, walk them, feed them, crate them, or whatever is needed!
