About: (Previously known as AJ) I am a lifelong animal lover with experience in dog, cat and some limited horse care. With a natural affinity for animals, I enjoy working with many different critter personalities and always honor and meet any animal where they are at. I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your fur kids- I use a great attention to detail to do my very best to enrich any animal’s life with all of the information on hand, rather than taking a cookie cutter approach. In your home I would start with questions helping me get familiar with your pet’s routine, their normal vs abnormal behaviors, and any logistical tasks needed in my role to ensure their heath and happiness as well as yours.

About: I have always found a love for pets and animals of all kinds. Starting young, family and friends have asked me to watch pets and sometimes even called me the pet whisperer. Being able to hang out with pets is a favorite past time of mine and I love being around them! I am currently a student at Western Carolina University, and I am trying my best to save up to the school years ahead of me. While at school I am always available on weekends, and during the day I am available for drop in up to four time a day. while at my home address, I have an unfenced 2.5 acre property perfect for a lot of playtime, along with a friendly 4 year old Australian shepherd poodle mix to accompany your pets.

About: Grown up around dogs all my life as well as owning a dog for the past 5 years. Also bilingual if for Spanish speaking households! I am a full time college student but on weekends as well as holidays I am more than willing to help you out with whatever you need! At home I feed, walk, bath, play, pet, and cuddle my own pet. I believe dogs deserve unhurried, dependable care - not just a quick stop-in. My goal is to provide consistency, communication, and peace of mind so you can feel confident your dog is well cared for. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Familiar environments help dogs feel secure, and I do everything I can to keep that consistency. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of surroundings, and cautious with other dogs and unfamiliar situations. Leashes, doors, gates, and feeding instructions are always double-checked. As a healthcare worker, I’m observant and quick to notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. You can trust that I will treat both your dog and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—dogs of all sizes, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and more. I’ve also helped neighbors with their animals, handling walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and bathing (as long as they’re comfortable!). I love giving pets attention, exercise, and care tailored to their needs. I do not have classes on the marked days so I am almost always able to drop in multiple times on your pet, which also means I have enough time to give them quality care! I am willing to give baths, feed, play, give pets, let them out on potty breaks, go on lengthy walks, clean litter boxes, etc. I am unable to do overnights or house pets.

About: I have been dog training for the past 5 years slowly growing my business. I love taking care of animals as it is my passion! Message me to learn more about me and my experience! My typical schedule is 8:30-4:30 with most of my availability in the mornings and evenings! This is the most accurate schedule for the 2026 year. I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a nice neighborhood where I can take your dog for plenty of walks and exercise.

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. I can care for pets most mornings and evening, and several mid days a week! Every client is different, I understand you have certain rules for your babies and I am more than willing to listen to them! Need your baby to walk for 40 minutes? Let’s get our walk in! About: Growing up, I had always been very involved in the care of our family pets which made my love for all animals so strong from a young age. I have two dogs, a cat, and 7 reptiles:) I have watched pets on many occasions for my family, the families I nannied for, family friends, and clients from Rover. I understand that each fur baby has their own personality and I am always respectful of their boundaries and excited to get along and play!! I am comfortable with any size, age, and type of pet. Happy to talk about a flat rate and can be very flexible! My current schedule, I have classes Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 8am-11am; Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-11:30. I would love to find a regular client whom I can dog walk/sit for on a regular basis but I am also interested in any short term dog care requests that you may have or overnights if comfortable with my schedule. I’m great at following instructions and will take care of your pup as if they were my own! I understand that each pet is different and will cater to the needs of each of your pets.

About: Let me begin by saying my prices are very negotiable! Just ask!! There has never been a point in my life that I haven't had a pet! I have 2 dogs here at home, and a cat now back at my apartment!! I love animals and as much as I love mine, i always love to meet as many as I can:) I am a student, and anytime I am not at my classes, I'll have available time to care! With that being said, I am very flexible when it comes to prices!! Just ask! I am mostly always available and can work around both of our schedules when needed! I pay great attention to detail and set alarms if pets are time depended on dinner or medications. I am always on time, and I don't mind if you want me to stay a little longer to keep your pet company! Any special requests, just ask:). I am very flexible!

About: Hello, my name is Nick. I have been working with dogs for a long time and it is one of my passions. I have two dogs of my own one named Nala whose breeds we don’t know but she is a sweetheart who loves everyone and another named Stewy, he is an Australian Shepherd and Husky mix and he also loves socializing with other dogs. I also have experience volunteering at a local shelter. I enjoy getting to meet and interact with new dogs and your dog will be in great hands! Pet care is a regular part of my daily and weekly routines. I have my own dogs who love socializing with other pups. I already spend much time everyday taking care of my dog and will provide the same level of care to your pet as I would mine! We have separate rooms we can put our dogs in if your pup would rather enjoy some alone time! I have a balcony which is safe and enclosed which the dogs will always have access to as well as access to a fenced in dog park. He is very sweet and playful and is not aggressive whatsoever!

About: I have been around all types of animals and pets my whole life. I don't mind taking care of any type of pet you may have from babys to seniors, cats of all breeds and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m also good with taking care of other domestic pets, exotic pets and farm animals. I only work part time so I have a lot of extra time to care for animals and enjoy being outdoors walking, biking and hiking. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in middle school (I'm in my mid-twenties now!). I've worked with puppies (most recently, a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix), young dogs (my own is a three-year-old Great Pyrenees <3), geriatric dogs (my first was a Cocker Spaniel with dietary needs), and diabetic dogs, giving them their insulin injections. I've also worked with farm animals professionally as a wrangler and as a cowgirl on my family ranch. I also have experience feeding, cuddling, and playing with cats, and cleaning litter boxes. I travel to Asheville ~3 times per week, so I am available to take care of pets in Sylva, Waynesville, Canton, Asheville, and anywhere in between! I respond to the needs of your pets! If your pet is totally rambunctious I am active and can take it on a long walk/run or play with it in a designated location (yard, specific room, park, etc.). If your pet is anxious we will practice getting comfortable with each other and sharing the same space as each other until they are comfortable and can trust me. I appreciate general information and instructions about your pets needs/demeanor beforehand, but I will create a happy and safe environment for your pets based on what they need from me too!

About: I’ve owned cats since I was 5 and dogs since I was 10. Both puppies and seniors, so I have worked on taking care of them for a long time! I have also gained experience in the pet care world through working at a dog daycare! I’m currently attending school full time and work part time, but I am able to do evening and early morning walks! My availability does not change much unless I’m away from school! I will not be able to take care of dogs in my home because of the two others I already have. In others home, I will be able to follow details given. I can let dogs out, walk them, feed them, crate them, or whatever is needed!

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

About: I have always had a dog that I could share adventures with. I know the feeling when you are busy with work and need a reliable dog walker or house sitter that will care for your dog just as you would. Now that I have time, I would like to help others with that. I am available to housesit your dog most any weekend and beginning June 1 through August 15th, I am available to house sit most anytime. I have been a teacher for 20 years, so safety is always at the center of each decision. If I were caring for a dog in another family's home, I would be mindful of security, house alarms, locks, and also what the pet could possibly get into inside the home that could be dangerous. I would follow all requests and procedures in the home indicated by the family.
