About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life. I trained my dogs back at home. I’ve worked with very large breeds and small breeds. I also have two cats of my own who are very loved I’m currently pursuing my Masters degree at WCU. Over the summer I have a ton of free time that I love to fill with taking care of animals. I will treat your pets with the upmost kindness and love as I do my own. I will follow all routines you do to make sure your babies don’t get stressed while your away.

About: (Previously known as AJ) I am a lifelong animal lover with experience in dog, cat and some limited horse care. With a natural affinity for animals, I enjoy working with many different critter personalities and always honor and meet any animal where they are at. I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your fur kids- I use a great attention to detail to do my very best to enrich any animal’s life with all of the information on hand, rather than taking a cookie cutter approach. If I need clarification, I am not afraid to ask. My number one priority is always your pet’s health and safety. It would be an absolute privilege to help care for your beloved family members! Please reach out with your needs and we can try to work something out! I am comfortable offering services in your home, I am not able to offer services in my home at this time due to having three doggos in my house! In your home I would start with questions helping me get familiar with your pet’s routine, their normal vs abnormal behaviors, and any logistical tasks needed in my role to ensure their heath and happiness as well as yours.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I am a trustworthy retired RN who is looking to spoil your dogs while you are away. I am a non-smoker and very active with walking/hikes and pickleball. I am retired now for 5 years and spend my day actively with hike/bikes/pickleball to name a few activities. I am available most days with proper notice. I do not have a fenced yard but do have a 7-year-old dog named Dori who gets her exercise walking daily. If you pup likes fenced in yards caring for your dog would be better at your home.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in middle school (I'm in my mid-twenties now!). I've worked with puppies (most recently, a Dachshund-Chihuahua mix), young dogs (my own is a three-year-old Great Pyrenees <3), geriatric dogs (my first was a Cocker Spaniel with dietary needs), and diabetic dogs, giving them their insulin injections. I've also worked with farm animals professionally as a wrangler and as a cowgirl on my family ranch. I also have experience with kitties, volunteering at the cashiers-highlands animal shelter and as a foster mom. Most recently i’ve been taking care of 6 kittens and their feral momma, feeding them, caring for them, and socializing them for adoption! I am an educator, so I am completely available this summer! I travel to Asheville ~3 times per week, so I am available to take care of pets in Sylva, Waynesville, Canton, Asheville, and anywhere in between! I respond to the needs of your pets! If your pet is totally rambunctious I am active and can take it on a long walk/run or play with it in a designated location (yard, specific room, park, etc.). If your pet is anxious we will practice getting comfortable with each other and sharing the same space as each other until they are comfortable and can trust me. I appreciate general information and instructions about your pets needs/demeanor beforehand, but I will create a happy and safe environment for your pets based on what they need from me too!

About: I have had pets since I was in kindergarten. I have grown up with two dogs and two cats in my home for my entire life. As a child, my parents always held me responsible for giving the animals food, water, and cleaning up after them. I have always shown responsibility and love towards animals. I am enthusiastic and active, I love to be outside, and getting to interact with animals while doing so, is a plus! I missed my pets while I was away at school, so I would volunteer to take dogs from the animal shelter for happy hour in my free time. I now have a sweet baby of my own that I adopted from a local shelter ❤️ I am currently working part time so my schedule is very flexible and I can work around a lot of needs with adequate lead time. I love to provide the dogs what they need. If they want to go outside for a run or walk, we can hit the trails! If they want to snuggle on the couch, we will cozy up with a blanket.

About: I love working with animals! I’ve been pet sitting for my neighbors and friends since I was a kid. I have a lot of experience taking care of both dogs and cats! My schedule is very flexible! I am taking classes at Western Carolina University, but anytime I am not in class or doing work, I would love to meet your pets! I care greatly about the well-being and happiness of all pets! I will do my very best to keep your pet(s) safe, entertained, and happy while you are away! I just graduated from Western Carolina University, and plan on moving to Raleigh, NC in a few months. Rover is an awesome part time gig for me to save up for moving across the state! I will always do my very best to make sure that the pets are safe and happy! I am not currently able to pet sit in my own home, but I am more than willing to do anything I need to ensure your pet gets the best care they need in your home!

About: I’ve had my own dogs to care for my entire life and have raised my dog for 5 years since he was 8 weeks old. I have worked for a pet-sitting & dog walking business for the past year! I am on a gap year before starting grad school and have a very flexible schedule. I spend most of my time at home with my dogs and doing tasks around the house. I have plenty of time to in incorporate more walks and pet time into my routine. I have a large yard where my dogs run but I am very used to working with dogs in different environments; I have cared for my golden retriever mix in an apartment setting as well as in a neighborhood. I walk my dogs every day through out the neighborhood and spend plenty of time outside. One of my dogs has hypothyroidism and takes medication daily, has certain dietary restrictions, and needs additional exercise; so I am used to being extra attentive regarding my dogs lifestyle.

About: I am a biology student at WCU focused on ecology, so I absolutely love animals. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, but I also have experience with exotic animals. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for over 5 years, and it’s always been my favorite job! I work flexible part time jobs, so I am available both mornings and evenings, as well as weekends with notice! My current flexibility also allows for more daytime pet care, such as walks or check-ins. I have lots of experience with overnight pet care, and I know that trust is a big part of an animal feeling comfortable with a stranger in their space. I’m very calm and relaxed when I first meet an animal to give them space to come to me :)

About: I have a love for all animals since I can remember. Especially dogs. 🐾 Having had dogs my entire life and getting my own girl named bella I rescued at 3 months old who had a beautiful long life passing a year ago. I know how to handle multiple dogs at once as i’ve watched 6 animals all together cats and dogs. I am very experienced in this. I have tended to medical needs, bathing, extra care for scared animals, walks with multiple dogs and more. I really am a natural caretaker to fur babies. I worked at a holistic pet store for a while and learned much about dog healthcare which benefited my dogs and other people's dogs lives I was able to give advice to. Walks, outside time, & play time is essential for your pup. And of course, treats if provided! I will go over each dogs needs prior to watching. I will treat your dog like my own and they will get immense love staying with me and bella. I usually also offer energy healing & massage if I notice the pup over can benefit. I currently work from home so am open and available to care for your fur baby and will be with them all the time! They will get so much care and love. I will be able to spend time with them play with them all day, walk them and make sure they eat on time. Really, they will be with me all the time. I set up a cozy space for everyone for sleeping time. They can also sun bath in our patio over looking beautiful pine trees.

About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. I know that may sound cheezy but I am an avid animal lover. Being able to take care of your animal would put a huge smile on my face ( and your) knowing they are healthy and happy in my care. I hope you choose me :) My schedule is pretty open and I am open to working with you to find a proper schedule to meet your needs! I am available for drop ins and overnight! I give lots of love and cuddle, watch them play, take them on walks, and of course feed them, and play with them. Administering medicine is also a skill I hold. Attentive to diets and specific needs such as needs for space, interactions with other animals etc..

About: I grew up with pets which ranged from dogs to cats to chickens to a horse. I currently have a 8 year old Boxer and 1 year old cat who I rescued from a shelter! I would love to have a goat farm one day and be able to do goat yoga. I enjoy being around all pets, especially dogs. I think that all animals are special and deserve to be treated with lots of love. As a pet sitter/walker, I can come visit with your pet to provide food/water, playtime, walks, any other care that is needed to support your pet(s)/family and provide lots of love! After our pets are family. I work full time at a school but school is out so I have more time to spend with your pets as well as my own! I can crate your pups if preferred. I can walk your pup and send you updated photos on how they doing! I will provide your pets with lots of love!

About: I have always loved animals. I grew up with a beautiful golden retriever. I began caring for dogs of neighbors and family friends as a child. I love caring for animals, it is a great joy for me, and I have 4 cats of my own and recently got a new puppy. I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to be flexible and accommodate special requests. I can care for your pets in your home. My goal is to understand how you care for your pet and what their needs are so I can care for them as you would I have a very flexible schedule since I am self employed especially if given a couple of weeks notice since I schedule myself a couple weeks out at a time. : ) Can care for your dog at my home if he is good with other dogs and cats. I have 4 cats and a puppy at my home. Can crate if needed too.

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—dogs of all sizes, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and more. I’ve also helped neighbors with their animals, handling walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and bathing (as long as they’re comfortable!). I love giving pets attention, exercise, and care tailored to their needs. I do not have classes on the marked days so I am almost always able to drop in multiple times on your pet, which also means I have enough time to give them quality care! I am willing to give baths, feed, play, give pets, let them out on potty breaks, go on lengthy walks, clean litter boxes, etc. I am unable to do overnights or house pets.
