About: Hello! I’m Krystal and I’m excited to offer professional, compassionate pet care for your furry babies! With years of experience as a veterinary technician and even longer as a Dental Office Manager, I have a strong background in animal care, health, and well-being. As a military spouse, I understand the importance of reliable, flexible, and trustworthy care, especially when life gets busy or unpredictable. | Services | • Dog Walking: Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer outdoor adventure, I’ll keep your dog fit, happy, and engaged. • Drop-In Visits: Perfect for check-ins, feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime. • Medication Administration: With my veterinary technician experience, I’m comfortable handling medications and providing care for pets with special health needs. My husband is active duty in the Navy, so we’ve relocated to the area and am excited to explore the WNC with our little family. Given my WFH status, I am flexible and can easily work around a schedule. I treat every pet with the same care and compassion as I would my own. Your pets’ health, happiness, and safety are my top priorities. You can trust me to offer high-quality care, whether you’re home or away. I’m committed to making sure your pets receive the best care possible while providing you with peace of mind.

About: I had two dogs growing up and one of the hardest parts of my life so far was both of them passing away. I loved them so much and I want to be able to give my love and care to other animals! I would love to go on walks/ play/ and take care of your animal as if they were my own. I feel there is a hole in me and it can be filled with taking care of animals. I know that may sound cheezy but I am an avid animal lover. Being able to take care of your animal would put a huge smile on my face ( and your) knowing they are healthy and happy in my care. I hope you choose me :) My schedule is pretty open and I am open to working with you to find a proper schedule to meet your needs! I am available for drop ins and overnight! I give lots of love and cuddle, watch them play, take them on walks, and of course feed them, and play with them. Administering medicine is also a skill I hold. Attentive to diets and specific needs such as needs for space, interactions with other animals etc..

About: As someone who is hardworking and detail-oriented, I feel that I am up to the task of caring for all kinds of pets. From a young age I've worked with dogs, cats, small rodents, and even horses! Some even call me the "animal whisperer." Grooming, walking, playing, feeding, providing fresh water regularly, giving medication orally or with food, overnight stays, and cleaning up after animals are some of the tasks I've performed throughout my time caring for these beloved fur friends. I'm free every day of the week, preferably any time after 10 AM but also willing to negotiate times of care that fits both you and your pet's needs! I make sure to respect other's property and belongings when housesitting or petsitting for pet parents. Keeping spaces clean, tidy, and how I found it is something I find to be important when given the trust of others to be in their spaces. I'm always willing to learn and adapt to your pet's needs, environment, and behaviors.

About: I am a college student at WCU! And since I was a little girl I have cared for animals and my heart grows bigger for them each day! I understand it is scary leaving your baby in the hands of someone new but I am more than willing to prove myself that I am the best! I have volunteered at many animal shelters and have walked plenty of dogs (including my teachers) on campus! I am currently working part time, my schedule is very flexible. I can care for pets most mornings and evening, and several mid days a week! Every client is different, I understand you have certain rules for your babies and I am more than willing to listen to them! Need your baby to walk for 40 minutes? Let’s get our walk in! Need the little one in a crate when I leave? More than happy to!

About: **Notice** Right now I'm only able to service Bryson City and parts of whittier. No bad driveways due to vehicles I have experience with animals of all kinds. I love them all. I previously worked at an animal shelter for 6 yrs. My dogs have all been trained. I absolutely love spending time with animals. Their care and well being comes first. I have worked with obedience trainers in the past and usually when im on a walk with a dog im not just walking them im usually incorporating obedience work with the walk. Positive reinforcement is how i train. I try to make my time with the animals fun and exciting. I dont want the dog to be bored and miss their owners while they are away. I want them to be happy and comfortable with me. I go above and beyond to make their sitting experience the best. I currently work another full time job so I try to keep my calendar updated on the days I'm available. Sometimes I can do drop in visits after work if that helps. I am not currently caring for pets in my home due to the amount of rescues I have at the moment. But I am still doing drop ins and walks

About: I have been around dogs my whole life! I have had both big and small dogs. I have experience taking care of senior dogs as well as puppies. I have never met a dog that I did not love or did not love me! I am home for the summer from school so I will have a lot of time to take care of your dog. I am an earlier riser and can get there whenever I am needed. I treat every dog like they are my own dog. I have loved dogs my whole life and love going on walks and playing with dogs as well. I would make sure that the dog has plenty of food and water as well as getting enough time outside and love when you are gone!

“Kelly is excellent! We booked her for dog walking/drop in visits while we were out of town for a wedding. Because it was a last minute trip, we (and our dog, an older pit mix who can be picky about his friends) had never met her before, but Kelly was very patient and kind and our dog warmed up to her right away. We highly recommend Kelly.”

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Dillsboro. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
