“Alex is a trustworthy individual with whom I have entrusted my dearest fur-baby. As her roommate of 7 years, there were many occasions I asked her to take care of my 16 year old mini dachshund, and she did a great job. She followed care instructions to a T. She has two rescue pups of her own. One of which is a disabled old guy and the other a rambunctious lab mix that she rescued as a wee pupper. I've witnessed her making responsible and caring decisions for both of her pets. Not only does she take good care of them, but she also provides quality enrichment such as taking them on walks , hikes in National Parks, playing fetch, and to dog parks. Alex once rescued a mama cat and her newborn kittens from a hurricane. She then found homes for all but one of them. She kept that kitten and raised her to be the sweetest and cuddliest kitten there ever was. I know this because I used to steal snuggles lol. She has also helped her sister take care of their Alpacas, chickens, squirrel, fish, lizards, sugar gliders, and horses. About: From 06/19 until 12/22, I was adoption manager at a local rescue. I have also spent the past few months working with a trainer in Asheville conducting the socialization groups. With that comes a professional knowledge of handling, behavior, feeding, etc. I helped take care of 30-40 dogs every day at my job and am eager to use my experience to help you out with your dogs when you’re in a pinch. I don’t have any restrictions when it comes to breed, temperament, weight, etc. You can trust your dog will be in good hands whether it be in your home or out on a walk in your neighborhood. I’m more than happy to stop in anytime in the morning or afternoon for a walk and anytime throughout the day for socializing and feeding. I love meeting new dogs and look forward to meeting yours. I pride myself on my love of animals. I have advanced leash walking experience. Any size dog is fine by me. I have a 100 pound dog and a 10 pound dog 😀
