About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I am a trustworthy retired RN who is looking to spoil your dogs while you are away. I am a non-smoker and very active with walking/hikes and pickleball. I am retired now for 5 years and spend my day actively with hike/bikes/pickleball to name a few activities. I am available most days with proper notice. I do not have a fenced yard but do have a 7-year-old dog named Dori who gets her exercise walking daily. If you pup likes fenced in yards caring for your dog would be better at your home.

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

An active individual, my neighbors and family friends often pay me to walk their dogs. I often enjoy running, walking, and physical activity in the morning, followed by coursework in the afternoon. Depending on the needs of your pet, they are more than welcome to join me in these activities in the am. I periodically work at a local pottery shop for 2-3 hours, after which I normally go for a walk. While your pet may not enjoy the pottery as much as I do and may be better suited at home, depending on their needs, an afternoon walk is certainly in the mix. It's been my experience that a happy dog is one that gets to move around. Depending on the needs of your pet, activity and engagement with me are certainly in the cards.

About: I have had pets all my life and at this time I have 2 very gentle German Shepherds that get along well with other dogs. I actually jog 3 miles with one of them several times a week so taking dogs for a walk will not be a problem. I have a part time job that I work out of my house so I am available everyday except Sunday mornings when I go to church. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic and has showed me some CPR. He will be around some days and will be able to assist me if need be. I am at a time in my life right now where I have the time to enjoy my pets and would love to offer my services to people with their fur-babies. I am retired and so is my husband. We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. I also create a safe and comfortable space for them to rest, such as a crate for my puppy. Throughout the day, I incorporate short obedience training sessions to reinforce good behavior and keep their minds active.

About: My love for animals started at an early age and then progressed when I volunteered at animal shelters! Furthering that passion I then decided to join the animal hospital of Waynesville’s team to continue my education in becoming a vet tech! I am fear free certified and use that special approach/technique when pet sitting. I work full time so my schedule varies weekly, but weekends I have the most availability! I am pretty flexible and local to the Waynesville area. I prefer not to keep any pets in my home due to my own critters. They are nervous beings so to limit their stress I will only offer services in your home!
About: My wife and I have raised my 7 year old black lab since he was a puppy and learned from his needs and wants throughout the years. I live in a small community where I routinely walk my dog but also have a decent sized back yard where your pets can play. I have previous experience with taking care of close friends cats and dogs. my wife and I are available anytime, I work during the day and she works during the night, there will always be someone home to take care of your loved ones! We have a fenced in back yard with a single gate, inside we have door sensors on the backyard door and front door. I have 2 daughters ages 3 and 6 that have not had issues with pets before. I live in a small neighborhood with decent room to walk your pets
About: Since childhood I have taken care of our pet dogs. Tending to their needs and providing kindness to them is what I prioritize the most because I believe that is what animals need. I currently am available daily from 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday. I share a car with my mother, however, there is no conflict of schedule that cannot be worked between her and I. I am available for drop-in appointments as well as over-the-night. For personal pets I care for them according to a healthy schedule. I wake up early and so will my pets, and will feed my pets, refresh their water bowls, and let them out for a light stroll all within an hour of waking up. Throughout the day I check their water bowl-refresh it if needed- check their sleep space to make sure its clean, take them outside for short bits here and there, as well as play with them for at least 20 minutes so they can burn energy. The daily night routine is the same as the morning routine.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I am a trustworthy retired RN who is looking to spoil your dogs while you are away. I am a non-smoker and very active with walking/hikes and pickleball. I am retired now for 5 years and spend my day actively with hike/bikes/pickleball to name a few activities. I am available most days with proper notice. I do not have a fenced yard but do have a 7-year-old dog named Dori who gets her exercise walking daily. If you pup likes fenced in yards caring for your dog would be better at your home.

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”
