“Amber did a fantastic job. It was the first time we had gone on a trip in a while because we worry so much about the dogs. We knew they'd be fine with her though. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.”

“Johanna and Samuel were fantastic with my dogs. Very dependable and good communicators. I would definitely have them watch my dogs again!”

About: I have many years of experience with taking care of dogs, including my own, friends and roommates, and others. I love to take them for walks, play to get their energy out, and relax to give them quality time. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can provide care at almost any time of day, including evening and over night visits. I have a reliable car that I use for transportation. I am comfortable taking care of pets in a client’s home, from walks, day visits, to overnight stays and more. I have experience working with family to provide care for multiple pets and have cared for multiple on my own.

“Debbie goes absolutely above and beyond. She is highly available, reliable, communicative, and professional. Debbie clearly cares deeply for animals, but she also took great care of our home while we were out of town. Thank you for all you do, Debbie! Debbie!”

About: I have had my own pets for since I was a little girl and then began sitting for friends during college. In the last 3 years I’ve begun doing longer pet sitting sessions with daily drop ins. I have also become skilled in giving cats medicine as my own can requires daily liquid medication. With the summer coming up and I am a teacher I have much more flexibility with my days and can come and go much more often as I check on pets. Afternoons and evenings are typically fully open. I do not house pets in my own home but I require a prior meeting in clients homes before starting a pet sitting job. I need to meet the animals prior and go over the expectations. While I am there I offer love and attention to the pet in addition to feedings and potty breaks.

“Lillie was great! She was communicative and punctual. She offered to do a meet and greet before our booking and the dogs loved her. She showed love, knowledge and professionalism. I am and have already booked her for more visits and an overnight. She has quickly become my regular and reliable sitter as I am new to the area and was in need. Thank you Lillie!”

“amazing!! melanie did a fantastic job doing a drop in check in while i was away from work. helped accommodate through my technical difficulties with the app. and very kind !”

“I couldn’t have asked for someone better!! Aj did such a fantastic job with our 3 cats. She was always sending the cutest updates and pictures when she dropped in. She made sure they got in lots of play time on her visits and was always on top of the food, water and litter boxes.”

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

“Amy was the BEST babysitter we could have imagined. Our bear got his name because he can be a bear with new people and get very reactive. Amy came over before the stay multiple times to meet him and let him smell her good and get to know her. We had complete confidence leaving our boy with her after that. The first visit he was a little hesitant but by the second he was playing happy and LOVED her. We will not hesitate to call her again.”

“Grey did a great job keeping an eye on my pup during an extended trip, coming by multiple times a day while I was traveling for work. Walks, hang out time, feedings, everything went smoothly. My dog is bigger and can be obnoxious on walks some times, but he was able to handle it with no problems. Highly recommended.”

About: I have had and lived with cats and dogs my entire life. I am more knowledgeable and most comfortable with cats, but I have experience taking care of dogs as well. I have experience with administering medicated eye drops, ear drops, and I know how to clean up after pets. I have experience with cats of all ages. I am a current graduate student at Western Carolina University getting myself through the summer with any odd jobs I can acquire. I am also working on my research, so I may be called to work in the lab on WCU's campus on random days. I am not able to take in pets to stay with me, as I live in an apartment complex that has a strict pet policy, and I also have my own pet cat in my space. When visiting pets in their home, I will respect their space and read their body language so as to not make them uncomfortable.

About: I have spent the last 4 years building a reputation for myself as a pet caretaker, and I most often petsit by staying in-home to keep the pets (especially those with anxiety) more comfortable. I have a dog of my own, who is very well loved and trained. I will provide the pets I take care of with as much love, attention, and time I possibly can. I enjoy taking the dogs I take care of on hikes and even drives if they enjoy it, and might even treat them to some of the grain free treats I keep on hand! I've had experience with pets of all sizes, ranging from miniature dachshunds to large German shepherds, with senior cats and kittens, as well! I'm very excited to meet you and your furbabies! I am currently taking online classes with three 4-hour workdays a week, leaving plenty of time to spend with your pets! Please contact me with any questions. While I do not petsit in my home, I do often petsit at the client's home. I make sure to meet beforehand to set specific expectations on what the pets are used to, as well as their regular schedules and required care. I love to play with the pets if they are able, to take dogs out for walks and hikes, and to of course give plenty of cuddles! I do my best to keep my quality of care as high as possible, and I respect any and all requests that clients have.

About: Hi, I’m Madison! I have two fur babies named Tessa (4 years old) and Flynn (3 years old). I’ve also dog sat for friends and family. Fur babies are part of the family, so they need to be taken care of! Please feel free to reach out for any pet-sitting needs. I work full-time, but have flexible hours so that I can make sure your babies are taken care of, whether that be just dropping by to feed them or taking them longer walks and playing with them! I keep a first aid kit for my own fur babies and also am practiced with crate training, so I can make sure your pets are safe while you’re away!

“Ashley did a great job looking after my 2 large dogs and cat while I was away. She was flexible when our schedule changed, professional and very easy to communicate with, keeping me up to date on my furwads and drop-ins. I highly recommend:)”

About: I have always grown up with dogs and just recently adopted my cat Douglas shortly after moving from home. Although he provides all the love I need, I do miss all my family dogs presence! I currently work full-time, but would love to make myself available for more interaction with pets! I am available for outdoor walks and pet check-ins! I do not offer anything in my home because I'm not too sure how my cat Douglas would respond ... and he runs the house.

About: Hey there! My name is Allison and I’m 25. I have two 5 year old full sized goldendoodles. I have been a dog person my entire life. I am currently a stay at home mom that works this alongside my S/O’s schedule. Rest assured that your furry friend will have my undivided attention. Animals are just as important as our human kiddos! I am a stay at home mom and my S/O works overnights. While he is home with my son during the day, I am available to take care of animals. My animals are as important to me as my babies! I know it is difficult trusting someone new with your fur baby, as I’ve had to trust several with mine. I will update you throughout the visit and make sure we have a comfortable plan of action when it comes to accommodating your pet.

“Chelsea is an incredible dog-mom and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dog sitter or walker. I’ve known her since 2017 and can attest to the fact that she is utterly devoted to the health and happiness of her own dog, Gidget. In fact, her doggie daycare uses Gidget as the friendly greeter for new pups upon first arriving at the daycare. Chelsea is a brilliant and devoted teacher and has the utmost patience for her students as well as the pets she cares for. She loves hiking the trails with Gidget and having her meet new friends. Schedule her for a meet and greet with your dog and you’ll see for yourself; she’s a catch!”
