“These two did a great job taking care of our pups while we were gone for a week. Would definitely use again.”

About: Hi, I’m Madison! I have two fur babies named Tessa (4 years old) and Flynn (3 years old). I’ve also dog sat for friends and family. Fur babies are part of the family, so they need to be taken care of! Please feel free to reach out for any pet-sitting needs. I work full-time, but have flexible hours so that I can make sure your babies are taken care of, whether that be just dropping by to feed them or taking them longer walks and playing with them! I keep a first aid kit for my own fur babies and also am practiced with crate training, so I can make sure your pets are safe while you’re away!

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

“Melanie was wonderful! She responded to a request on short notice and it was a holiday weekend. Thank you so much, Melanie. I will definitely use her services again.”

About: I have spent the last 4 years building a reputation for myself as a pet caretaker, and I most often petsit by staying in-home to keep the pets (especially those with anxiety) more comfortable. I have a dog of my own, who is very well loved and trained. I will provide the pets I take care of with as much love, attention, and time I possibly can. I enjoy taking the dogs I take care of on hikes and even drives if they enjoy it, and might even treat them to some of the grain free treats I keep on hand! I've had experience with pets of all sizes, ranging from miniature dachshunds to large German shepherds, with senior cats and kittens, as well! I'm very excited to meet you and your furbabies! I am currently taking online classes with three 4-hour workdays a week, leaving plenty of time to spend with your pets! Please contact me with any questions. While I do not petsit in my home, I do often petsit at the client's home. I make sure to meet beforehand to set specific expectations on what the pets are used to, as well as their regular schedules and required care. I love to play with the pets if they are able, to take dogs out for walks and hikes, and to of course give plenty of cuddles! I do my best to keep my quality of care as high as possible, and I respect any and all requests that clients have.

About: I have had and lived with cats and dogs my entire life. I am more knowledgeable and most comfortable with cats, but I have experience taking care of dogs as well. I have experience with administering medicated eye drops, ear drops, and I know how to clean up after pets. I have experience with cats of all ages. I am a current graduate student at Western Carolina University getting myself through the summer with any odd jobs I can acquire. I am also working on my research, so I may be called to work in the lab on WCU's campus on random days. I am not able to take in pets to stay with me, as I live in an apartment complex that has a strict pet policy, and I also have my own pet cat in my space. When visiting pets in their home, I will respect their space and read their body language so as to not make them uncomfortable.

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

“Debbie is amazing! She did such a wonderful job of taking care of my kitties and keeping my plants watered! My cats loved her and the attention she gave them. She also goes above and beyond by disposing of cat waste and empty cans on her own time so my kitchen and trash were immaculate when I returned! I will definitely have Debbie watch my kitties the next time I need a sitter!”

“Brinkley, Thank you so much for helping us out last minute with Duke and Wanda! You left us with no worries while we were away! Look forward to seeing you again soon! Thank you!”

“Kary truly came to my rescue! I found myself in need of a sitter with very little notice, but when I reached out to her, she promptly and efficiently responded. Her evident affection for and care towards my beloved pups was heartwarming. Without a doubt, I will be relying on her exceptional services again in the future!”

About: I've worked at an animal shelter for 3 years, letting me work with hundreds of different animals with their own personalities and needs. Since I've been young, the neighbors would always ask me to pet sit, I've had my dog for 11 years and I love her very much 😁 I'm currently a student and have just moved to North Carolina! I absolutely love dogs and being outside so being a dog walker sounds like so much fun! I'm available Mon-Thurs 11-5 Visits will ensure food, water, and treats are given. I will make sure a lot of play will take place with each visit, keeping your animals happy and healthy while you're gone!

About: I have always had a special love for animals! I’ve taken care of many types of pets and animals of my own, my whole life. This includes several dogs and cats. I’ve also always been relied on by my neighbors and family to take care of their pets while they are away as well as to babysit their children or house sit! Animals tend to enjoy my company and feel safe around me. I’ve had experience with anxious dogs and cats as well as with a senior dog who could not use his back legs. I’ve also trained my current dog and both cats to do tricks! I’m currently a nursing student at WCU. I can typically provide care for pets Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and on weekends that I’m not away visiting my family at home! I love animals so much and will always do my best to ensure their safety, happiness, and proper care! I currently have 2 cats and a dog and have had different types of pets my whole life. I am extremely careful and am also very detail oriented and will follow your instructions to the very best of my abilities! I will always care for and love on your pets like my own!

About: I have had my own pets for since I was a little girl and then began sitting for friends during college. In the last 3 years I’ve begun doing longer pet sitting sessions with daily drop ins. I have also become skilled in giving cats medicine as my own can requires daily liquid medication. With the summer coming up and I am a teacher I have much more flexibility with my days and can come and go much more often as I check on pets. Afternoons and evenings are typically fully open. I do not house pets in my own home but I require a prior meeting in clients homes before starting a pet sitting job. I need to meet the animals prior and go over the expectations. While I am there I offer love and attention to the pet in addition to feedings and potty breaks.

“Aj was literally better than I could’ve asked for! So many goofy photos and helpful recaps of visits. I know my girlie was so loved :) will definitely book again”

“Amy was the BEST babysitter we could have imagined. Our bear got his name because he can be a bear with new people and get very reactive. Amy came over before the stay multiple times to meet him and let him smell her good and get to know her. We had complete confidence leaving our boy with her after that. The first visit he was a little hesitant but by the second he was playing happy and LOVED her. We will not hesitate to call her again.”

“Brooklin did a wonderful job taking care of our cats while we were away. Each day we received pictures and little videos, and when we returned home our cats were happy and did not act as though they’d been socially neglected for days. We will not hesitate to have Brooklin care for them again in the future.”

“We are so happy we found Katelyn! Our under socialized dog has really loved having her around. She took the time to come and meet Abby to make sure they would be a good fit for each other. It’s such a great feeling to be able to leave home and not have to worry as we ALWAYS have with everyone that has ever dog sat.”

6. Erica F.
“Erica has been around pets all her life from gerbils to a fish to a lot of cats to quite a few dogs! She grew up in a household with dogs and a household with cats. Erica has loved each and every pet in her life and now, is the best cat mom to Paulie, her deaf, orange tabby cat. When she goes to class, she turns her camera on so she can keep an eye on him. He is very well taken care of! Erica shares her heart with the canines too. She has walked and cared for her family’s dogs, from miniature schnauzers to mixed labs to a very energetic Australian Shepherd. Erica would take care of anyone’s pet as if it were her own!”

7. Chelsea L.
“Chelsea is an incredible dog-mom and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dog sitter or walker. I’ve known her since 2017 and can attest to the fact that she is utterly devoted to the health and happiness of her own dog, Gidget. In fact, her doggie daycare uses Gidget as the friendly greeter for new pups upon first arriving at the daycare. Chelsea is a brilliant and devoted teacher and has the utmost patience for her students as well as the pets she cares for. She loves hiking the trails with Gidget and having her meet new friends. Schedule her for a meet and greet with your dog and you’ll see for yourself; she’s a catch!”

11. Curtis B.
“Hello! My name is Brooklyn and I previously worked with Curtis for quite a long time at an animal rescue. At this facility, we had many dogs that were our full responsibility to walk, feed, care for, love on, play with, you name it. Curtis specifically has always had a passion for animal care, and has always had a special connection with the dogs. Every single one he met instantly connected with him whether that be one of the friendliest of dogs or one of the shyest, they all loved him. He was one of our best dog walkers and every time the dogs saw him they would get excited because they knew it was time to walk and play with their favorite person. Curtis is definitely an amazing/loving pet caregiver as I know he’d treat any animal like his own!”
