About: I have been helping care for dogs both personally and as a friend since middle school. I began walking my own dog for an allowance in elementary school and loved it so I began to walk dogs for neighbors and family friends in middle school. Since then I have continued to work with dogs helping friends and family complete basic training (Sit, Stay, Lay, Leave it) and continued to learn more about dog behavior, activity needs by breed and body language. When walking your dog you can expect a minimum of a 1 mile walk/at least 20 minutes of actual walking time (or less if requested due to animal's health and abilities). I will ensure your dog is able to take in the sights and smells along the way and is engaged mentally to get some energy out. I work from home and am pretty flexible around my workday meetings. I have regularly scheduled reoccurring meetings from 9-930 on Mondays and Wednesdays but am flexible otherwise. When caring for your pet in your home you are the boss. I will follow any rules, routines or boundaries expressed by you and agreed to by me. Additionally, I will be respectful of your pet and your space. This means monitoring and respecting their behaviors and body language, keeping a clean space in your home, cleaning any mess made by feeding your animal, and cleaning accidents they may have had if provided the needed tools and supplies. When walking your dog you can expect a minimum of a 1 mile walk/at least 20 minutes of actual walking time (or less if requested due to animal's health and abilities). About: Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes, along with house cats, rodents and reptiles. Particular experience with medium and large size dogs who are anxious/reactive. Rates lowered while I establish myself on Rover. I work from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention when I care for them (and they'll probably get a nickname or two). Walks, bathroom breaks, visits to the dog park, and lots of pets and ear scratches all fit into my daily and weekly schedule with ease. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs in particular, so am used to reading what a dog needs and wants with a close eye. I take care to make sure that a dog is comfortable with me, that I respect their boundaries, that I respond to their needs, and that we remove ourselves from any situation that might upset or overwhelm them. I often ask a pet owner for details about their dog's usual routine, any particular habits they have, their behavior on leash, and what gives them comfort. This helps me better respond to what the dog is sharing about their needs.

“Anne did a fabulous job!! Her sweet, calm energy put my anxious cats at ease. She did wonderful with my finicky instructions, sent helpful updates with pictures, and took great care with my girls. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were in good hands.”

About: I’m a high schooler teacher on summer vacation with nothing to do but be outside and enjoy dogs instead of teenagers. Not only would I love to walk your dog, I am also willing to take them to any Dane County dog park (assuming your pet has the right registrations). I have more experience with large dogs than small dogs. I have the whole summer off with nothing to do but walk your dog! My Dalmatian requires 2-4 hours of exercise a day, so I am always out with her. Currently I am available for walks every day at any time. I can provide leashes and poop bags if needed, or I can use whatever you provide. If you are comfortable, I can take your dog in the backseat of my car and we can go to the dog park!

“Hayley was amazing with my little man! She even stayed and waited for maintenance when there was an issue with getting in my apartment because she was gonna find a way in to make sure my boy was taken care of. It was hard being so far from him, but he had the best time with her!”

About: I love all animals but have a soft spot for older dogs and cats that might need a little extra love and attention. I grew up with dogs but currently have a 5 year old cat who i adopted. I am a teacher who has much more free time in the summers. I am looking for afternoon/evening weekday jobs and anytime on the weekends. I will come to your home and make your fur baby feel comfortable in their own space. I can also take them for walks and/or play with them in your home.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’m comfortable with large or small dogs. Whether you are looking for someone to take your dog on a walk, or give he or she some snuggles, I’m happy to do so. I live in Waunakee. I work from home Monday-Friday. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can do whatever is needed. I am looking for a few families who need someone reliable to walk their dog. I am able comfortable getting acclimated to new dogs with yummy treats, toys, and cuddles. I would prefer to come to the owner’s home for walks, pet sitting, or what is needed.

“Jess was fantastic. After chatting with her for a few minutes we felt we’d know her for years. She took excellent care of our pup and we would highly recommend her. We’ll definitely book her again in the future.”

About: I have taken care with much love all types of animals, both domestic and farm for the majority of my life. I worked in a professional capacity too with farm animals. I am totally flexible during the morning hours and on Sundays too. I can work some evenings, depending on the night. Thank you so much! By understanding the pet’s owner’s needs, I make allowances to best serve the pet’s individual needs. I treat as my own with love and attention.

About: I've been taking care of all kinds of animals from kittens to goats to dogs to guinea pigs since I was 15 years old. I made a career out of it and I am now a certified veterinary technician. My job makes me able and comfortable to take care of all kinds of pets with all kinds of needs. I work a full time job but still make plenty of time for walks, fetch, and snuggle time. There will be times when pets are on their own but I can make arrangements so they aren't left alone for long periods of time. I have a large yard for pups to play in, separate rooms for quiet cats and lots of couches to snuggle with all the pets! I have a dog and cat of my own that get along well with others.
