“Elena is kind and attentive, not to mention intuitive and smart with dogs! Millie (my pup) loves her and Zoe, and they all have so much fun that Millie homes home tired and happy every time. I feel so comfortable sending her there, and love seeing the pictures of millie enjoying herself! Three cheers for Elena!!”

About: I grew up on a farm in Texas, where I had at least four dogs and six cats in the house throughout my life. I love pets more than anything! To that extent, I worked in a boarding kennel throughout high school and college before Rover existed. I now have five years of experience with Rover and Wag in multiple cities and states. My experience in boarding kennels and with Rover has allowed me to see and handle a wide range of situations in high-stress environments while having been professionally responsible for the safety and comfort of hundreds of animals. I will always provide compassionate care for your pets, as my goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your time away, just as much as your furry companions do with me. As a PhD student, I have the flexibility to read and write at home, and I enjoy alleviating stress with pet care. Additionally, my husband works from home, so the house almost always has a human or two around :) Pet safety is my number one priority. A close second is providing a comfortable and fun environment. For boarding and daycare, the basement is set up for pups to relax and play, and the house is segmented by gates to secure their safety as well as protect our belongings. I provide crates for separation if necessary, particularly around feeding time or depending on the night routine. Additionally, I have a spacious, fenced backyard (our favorite part of the house!), and I will always supervise pups when outside. I pick up poop immediately and keep an eye on whether curious mouths pick up things. For the extra adventurous pups, I also have a 30ft tie-out cable for additional security. Although I have a cat in the house, she stays exclusively in the primary bedroom, and with many gates and doors in place, the likelihood of the pups encountering her is extremely low. For drop-ins, I assure you that I will follow your directions and leave your home in the same condition as when you left it originally. My reviews can attest to that :)

“Wolfy had such a great day with Mary and her family. He can back very happy, and Mary sent several lovely photos of his time. Mary was also flexible with me when my plans changed after booking, which was so appreciated.”

“Penny had a wonderful stay at Laura's. She played with the big dogs running around, tug of war, and general romping. Laura was attentive to 3.5-month old puppy needs and took her out for regular potty breaks. Penny continued learning social skills with Laura and her pets!”

“Polyanna was good with communicating throughout the day with text, pictures, and videos. She also was able to watch our dog with a 3 days notice.”

“Our dog Halla is a rescue dog and he is very scared and nervous around new people. Robert has watched him few times and I am grateful that he understands that Halla needs time and space to get to know him. I am sure Halla will be in good hands when our family goes on a vacation this summer.”

“Manuela was great with our dog and I know our dog loved spending time with her! I was nervous to leave our dog with a new person at first, but Manuela met us beforehand and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend Manuela to anyone looking for care for their pet! She treats pets as if they were her own!”

“Amazing! Our three pups hung out for a day while we went to an event, and they had lots of fun playing together and with Gen’s dogs! Lots of pictures of their day too ☺️”

About: I have been self-employed as a full-time dog sitter for the past 15 years. Prior to opening my dog sitting business I worked as an assistant dog trainer using positive reinforcement training methods. I require a meet and greet before confirming dates so you can see where your dog will be staying, you and your dog(s) can meet me in-person and see the house and yard. We will also discuss their care and specific needs. I have been a dog parent since 2004. I am a full-time dog sitter so I am always with the dogs to ensure they are properly cared for and getting all the exercise, love and attention they deserve. Dogs go in/out as much as they want and get all the love and attention they would just like at home. The yard is fully fenced and there is a ramp so senior dogs have an easier time getting in/out. I have crates set up for those dogs that are normally crated but it is not required for a dog to be crated. All dogs are allowed on the furniture and there are several dogs beds to choose from as well. Of course you can always bring your own if your dog would feel more comfortable having something from home. There is no shortage of treats, cuddles and time outside. I have experience caring for senior dogs, those with medical conditions, separation anxiety and fear of new people.

“Susan and Molly provided the perfect stay for our pup while we were away. They were very communicative and sent lots of cute updates. They took him on walks and clearly went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable - he came home a tired and happy guy. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter - book with confidence!”

“Awesome experience. Edith was extra nice, super responsive and helpful updates about Milo's day.”

“My 7-month-old Jazzy Girl whines in excitement when we arrive at Suellen's, and once out of the car, she races up the steps, eager to be with her friends, Suellen's dogs, Mia & Wes. They all play well together.”

“Jenny felt right at home and couldn't wait to go back the second day! I'll definitely return to Paula the next time we need daycare! Communication and updates were great and very much appreciated!”

“Another great visit for Wesley. He absolutely loves going to Erin’s house. Got there and he ran right up to the door. He gets tons of love and has a playmate whom he met through Rover named Willow. Can’t say enough about Erin and her family. They are beyond wonderful.”
