About: I grew up on a farm in Texas, where I had at least four dogs and six cats in the house throughout my life. I love pets more than anything! To that extent, I worked in a boarding kennel throughout high school and college before Rover existed. I now have five years of experience with Rover and Wag in multiple cities and states. My experience in boarding kennels and with Rover has allowed me to see and handle a wide range of situations in high-stress environments while having been professionally responsible for the safety and comfort of hundreds of animals. I will always provide compassionate care for your pets, as my goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed during your time away, just as much as your furry companions do with me. As a PhD student, I have the flexibility to read and write at home, and I enjoy alleviating stress with pet care. Additionally, my husband works from home, so the house almost always has a human or two around :) Pet safety is my number one priority. A close second is providing a comfortable and fun environment. For boarding and daycare, the basement is set up for pups to relax and play, and the house is segmented by gates to secure their safety as well as protect our belongings. I provide crates for separation if necessary, particularly around feeding time or depending on the night routine. Additionally, I have a spacious, fenced backyard (our favorite part of the house!), and I will always supervise pups when outside. I pick up poop immediately and keep an eye on whether curious mouths pick up things. For the extra adventurous pups, I also have a 30ft tie-out cable for additional security. Although I have a cat in the house, she stays exclusively in the primary bedroom, and with many gates and doors in place, the likelihood of the pups encountering her is extremely low. For drop-ins, I assure you that I will follow your directions and leave your home in the same condition as when you left it originally. My reviews can attest to that :)

“Mika has stayed with Cameron many times now and always comes back tired and happy! Have never had an issue and Mika is always excited to run in the door for daycare. Only good things to say!”

“Our big Labradoodle LOVED his first visit of Kathryn and Joe and their kids. They sent pictures while we were gone showing a happy dog and our dog was still happy (and a bit reluctant to leave) when we picked him up. I'm grateful we found Kathryn and Joe and will use them again.”

“Kristin and Bruce provided exceptional daycare services. My senior dog initially had anxiety being in a different home. Kristen and Bruce were very attentive and made her feel comfortable.”

“Polyanna was good with communicating throughout the day with text, pictures, and videos. She also was able to watch our dog with a 3 days notice.”

“Suki was so happy and tired after staying with Meagan. It was easy to coordinate logistics with her. We look forward to boarding with her again.”

“Bobby was great! He send me lots of photos and updates throughout the day. I knew she was well cared for. I was apprehensive to try this app, but Bobby alleviated my anxieties by providing Sadie with awesome care!”

“Gen hosted our pup on his first birthday and went out of her way to make him feel special on his big day. It definitely put this worrying puppy mom at ease knowing he was having such a fantastic time with Sasha and Gen while we were gone. His face always perks up when we pull into their driveway and he never wants to leave!”

“Rosie had a great time with Jodi. The house and yard are perfectly set up for dogs! She was very accommodating for a last minute request.”

About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I have 29+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have been using a similar dog boarding app for the last few years so I’m starting fresh on Rover but I assure you I’m experienced. I have a friendly pet dog and chickens. What can I offer? I can board your dog at my home or do home visits. I can help with minor dog training. And I’m experienced in several other animals. I have a fenced yard. I’m comfortable with big dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges (case by case). I’ve rescued 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues. Why me? I’m particularly in-tune to animal needs, especially when their owners are away. I send lots of pictures and do what I can to keep them comfy. Your privacy is important to me. I respect the vulnerability of letting a “stranger” into your home or being responsible to keep your pet safe. Let’s discuss what I can do for you and your pet. Use this promo code to give pet owners new to Rover $20 off their first booking. Your Promo Code: LINDSS45396 I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack” during their stay, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog and 2 small kids. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I have an infant and toddler that typically travel to gigs with me. Unless I can get my husband to take them after work hours. And two step daughters age 9&10. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. Boarding: dogs spend their stay in the ground floor of my home which is a large space with backyard access. We have a fenced yard. I do require your dog to be crated when I leave the home to run errands. This is for their safety and comfort. If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/sat at least 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues. Sitting: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty and meds. Plus, I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard. If you prefer, after all your pets cares are complete, I can arrange to bring my computer and work my remote job at your home for a couple hours a day to spend time with your pet. Or watch a movie with them.

About: I am committed to providing individualized care, strong attention to detail, and genuine interest and compassion for animals. I grew up in a family that took in a variety of pets to provide a safe home. I am a strong believer in your fuzzy friends being your best friends. They deserve to be treated with care and love while you're away, just as I would want for my dog. I rescued my miniature pinscher 6 years ago and she is now 15 years old! She is both an old lady and still my little baby. I love all animals and I'm so excited to meet yours! I have experience working with children and youth with diverse needs, and that level of care and patience extends naturally to animals with anxiety, behavioral challenges, or special routines. My background in caregiving and support work has taught me to be highly responsible, communicative, and reliable. I’m organized, dependable, and quick to respond — qualities that give pet owners peace of mind. I also go the extra mile with photo updates, customized activities, and keeping pets happy and stress-free while their humans are away. I’m active and love outdoor time — whether it’s long walks, playing fetch, or trail adventures, I’m happy to match your dog’s energy level. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule from 7am-5pm, but it is not consistent every day. I am able to work my schedule around visits and walks if I have enough time to plan. Just message me with details! I could board pets during the day if it's a small dog with no aggression. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that gets anxious around medium-large dogs that have anxiety as well and/or some aggression. I am happy to do drop ins and walks throughout the day!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10. My family has a doodle and I grew up with him. I graduated last year and I started raising a golden retriever. Her name is Yumi and she is 8 months old now. She has a great personality and there is no dog she can not get along with! I worked at home on weekends and I'm mostly available on holidays. Weekday schedule depends on my research and class schedule. I'm pretty flexible and open to same-day reservations. I have a dog-proofed apartment. If you have a puppy who is not fully house-trained I will be able to take care of him/her. Dogs are allowed on couches and their beds.
