About: Hi! I’ve always had a huge love for animals and honestly can’t imagine life without them. I worked at PetSmart for 3 years as a Pet Care Associate, where I cared for all kinds of animals — from dogs and bunnies to lizards and other small pets. That experience taught me so much about animal behavior, patience, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for. About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! Before moving to Wisconsin, I owned and operated a dog walking and overnight boarding business in Maryland for two years. These days, I spend much of my time fostering dogs for a local rescue, helping them decompress, learn home life, and get ready for their forever families. With three personal dogs, I’m very comfortable managing a multi-dog household and all the different personalities that come with it. I’ve cared for everything from energetic, playful pups to seniors who prefer a cozy spot on the couch, as well as rescue dogs who need extra patience, structure, or time to feel comfortable. Fostering has taught me that there really isn’t a “one size fits all” approach to dogs. I pay close attention to body language, respect boundaries, make thoughtful introductions, and adjust my approach based on what each individual dog needs. I also know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind and wonder how they’re doing. You can expect daily updates from me, including plenty of photos and videos, so you can see how your dog is settling in and what they’ve been up to. My goal is to give your dog a safe, comfortable, fun place to stay—and give you the peace of mind that they’re with someone experienced, attentive, and who truly gets dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a middle schooler and work remotely part-time, which means I’m home quite a bit and have plenty of flexibility to give the animals in my care lots of attention, love, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and downtime. With three resident dogs—a 70 lb senior mix, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier, and a 1-year-old English Bulldog/French Bulldog mix—and all three started out as fosters who never left! I continue to foster regularly and work very closely with a local dog rescue, so welcoming another dog into our routine is something the dogs are very accustomed to. Dogs staying with us aren't spending the day alone waiting for someone to come home from work. I'm around throughout the day to keep an eye on everyone, accommodate individual routines, and provide plenty of attention (or a cozy place to nap, if that's more their speed!). Pet care is genuinely part of my everyday life, and I love it that way. Here, pets are treated like part of the family. My dogs are kennel trained, but they're also welcome throughout the home—including on the furniture and beds. I'm happy to follow your lead, though! If your dog sleeps in a crate, follows certain house rules, eats on a specific schedule, or isn't allowed on furniture at home, I'll do my best to keep their routine consistent. I live in a large apartment, so all outdoor time is supervised and on leash. I'm very comfortable with puppies and their extra needs, including frequent potty breaks, potty pads, crate training, and the general chaos that comes with puppyhood! I have extra crates that can accommodate dogs up to approximately 75–80 lbs, plus more dog beds and toys than any household probably needs. If your pet has food or environmental allergies, please let me know. I am very accustomed to managing allergies and am happy to follow specific instructions regarding food, treats, medications, or environmental triggers. Because your dog will share our home with my husband, middle-school-aged child, and our three resident dogs, dogs staying with us must be comfortable with older children, men, and other dogs. I take introductions and dog body language seriously and want every animal in the house—yours and mine—to feel safe and comfortable. While others do live in the home, I will be the caregiver for any other animals. For care in your home, I'll follow your lead. You know your pets and their routine best, and my goal is to keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you're away. I'm also happy to care for more than just dogs during in-home visits—cats and other household pets are welcome, too! Whether your pet stays with us or I care for them in their own home, I'll treat their individual routine as exactly that: individual. Some pets want to be your shadow, some want nonstop playtime, and some would prefer that I serve dinner promptly and otherwise respect their personal space. I'm good with all three!

About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I take pride in providing peace of mind for people during their travel. I have 30+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have a friendly dog that loves to host guests. He adapts his play style to each dog; if they want to run around, he wants to be chased. If they don’t feel like playing, he will give space. Like many resident male dogs, he often feels uncomfortable with large breed adolescent males, particularly intact. I will make decisions on a case by case basis regarding adolescent males. I do require dogs be crated when unattended in my home for their safety and comfort. We can discuss your dog’s unique needs. Please be sure your animals are up to date on vaccinations and preventative meds (flea/tick and heartworm). What can I offer? I can board your dog (or pet!) at my home or do home visits. I’m experienced in smalls like cats, pocket pets, and birds. I have even cared for people’s hobby farms (horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, etc). I have a fenced yard. I’ve adopted 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues and fostered many other breeds so I’m used to handling all types of dogs, including those who need a little time to settle in. I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack”, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog, two small kids and two teen step daughters. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I won’t book a dog if they aren’t a good match for someone already booked. For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. About: I have a dog of my own and I’ve done boarding, drop ins and walks before. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house and have watched family friends dogs numerous amounts of times. I currently work full time (8-4:30) during the week, but can do evenings on week days and any time during weekends! I am very flexible and can make anything work! I can abide by whatever schedules/routines you have in place. If your dog likes to socialize, my dog would be a great buddy! I understand dogs need to follow certain rules and need to be let out/fed in a timely manner.

About: For the past 8 years, I have been pet sitting for various friends, families, and neighbors. This has included taking care of dogs and cats, making sure their well-being is taken care of. I have experience walking dogs and making sure they are mentally stimulated throughout the day. I have also had experience with cleaning up any potential messes the pet might have made in absence of me or the owner. Currently, I work as a server while on summer break from college. My schedule at work is pretty flexible and I don't typically work whole days, so for the most part I am free on days I work except for 4-5 hours at the max. Other than that, the days I have off will be cleared and dedicated to the animal I am watching when I am scheduled. Whenever I watch an animal in another home, I always make a short sweep through the house wherever the animal has access to in order to ensure no messes were made. Whenever I leave, whether for a walk or for an extended period of time, I double check to make sure that the house is locked up and secure through any means of entrance. I am available for regular correspondence with owners and reply in a timely manner.
