“Edith is great and we always feel like Henry is in good hands when he stays with her. Her updates on Henry are the best! They are timely and we enjoy reading and seeing pictures while we’re away.”

“Willow seemed to enjoy her stay with Kristin and Bruce! They sent sent us status updates and pictures every day so that we knew how she was doing. I'd definitely board with them again!”

“Jesse was great! He provided boarding for our dog. He responded quickly to my request for booking, we met the next morning at a dog park so my dog could get to know his dog, and he was very flexible with scheduling drop off and pick up. He sent us a bunch of pictures and videos of our dog while we were away. I would certainly recommend Jesse if you're looking for help taking care of your dog.”

“Elmer absolutely loved staying with Manjusha and Midhun. They sent so many wonderful updates and photos, and kept him well entertained. He was only slightly disappointed to be leaving them to come back home with us 😋. I'd definitely book with them again! Easy to communicate with and flexible with scheduling.”

“Skipper had a blast with Christine. She is very attentive and very calm. She responded quickly to my inquiry. She is perfect for a dog with anxiety issues. I appreciated her flexibility and her requirement to see vaccination records. Skipper loved having other dogs to play with and we loved getting photos during his stay. We will definitely call on her again for Skipper's staycation! ”

“Thank you so much for having Remy! Although I experience a lot of anxiety about having to leave him, I am always so grateful to know he will be taken care of in my absence. I sincerely appreciate it!”

“Cleda was very flexible when my dog’s care needs changed due to an injury that occurred a few days before she was to be boarded. Cleda was very accommodating and I was able to relax while away knowing my dog was in good hands. She got lots of one on one attention from Cleda which is exactly what she needed. Cleda also made arrangements to limit my dog’s physical activity, which was ordered by the vet after the injury. I will definitely be booking again!”

“My boy stayed with Duane and Lauren and had a great time. They are so kind and communicative with pupdates throughout their stay. I have already recommended them to friends and will definitely use them again!”

“Fabulous! Mack gave her 4 paws up and he would have given her more but he only has 4 paws. He has been online trying one to buy me more airline trips so he can go back to Steph and live the good life. Can’t praise her enough. Deb Spencley”

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

“Lindsey and her family are fantastic sitters! Her children love dogs and her dog Echo enjoys playing with Poppy. Lindsey makes every dog feel welcome and loved. She does extras like supplying extra food, treats and time outside. I was afraid my pup wouldn’t want to come home after all of those belly rubs!!”

“This was the 2nd time Katie and Samuel’s family took care of Jarvis while we were away. We were very excited when they were available for these dates because Jarvis had a great time with them the first time. They did such an amazing job with him again and it really seemed like Jarvis felt right a home. They always send frequent updates and pictures which is really appreciated :)”

About: I have a dog of my own and I’ve done boarding, drop ins and walks before. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house and have watched family friends dogs numerous amounts of times. I currently work full time (8-4:30) during the week, but can do evenings on week days and any time during weekends! I am very flexible and can make anything work! I can abide by whatever schedules/routines you have in place. If your dog likes to socialize, my dog would be a great buddy! I understand dogs need to follow certain rules and need to be let out/fed in a timely manner.
“We left our dog Toffee with Jenny and her family for 5 days while we attended a work conference, and we could not have asked for a better experience! This was our first time using Rover and leaving Toffee with someone we didn’t know, so we were definitely nervous at first. Jenny immediately made us feel comfortable with constant updates, pictures, and videos throughout the entire stay. Toffee had the absolute best time running around in her huge backyard, playing with her kids and her two dogs, and getting so much love and attention. It truly felt like he was treated as part of their family. You can tell Jenny genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We were able to fully enjoy our trip knowing Toffee was happy, safe, and so well cared for. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be booking with Jenny and her lovely family again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Stephanie was great! She was easy to work with, took fantastic care of our pup. Our girl wasn't sure she wanted to leave. She sent lots of pictures and provided a fun and active environment. Would highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience with Maria watching Parker! She sent daily updates, texts, and photos, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel like he was getting the same love and attention he gets at home. Parker was very well taken care of and seemed to settle right in. She was incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive throughout his stay. We would absolutely recommend her and would trust her with Parker again!”

“Ryan and Jocelyn (and their girls) are truly incredible. They have watched our dog multiple times now, and do such a wonderful job caring for her! Our dog has quite a lot of energy, and they work hard to take her on walks, play with her, and care for her so kindly. We trust them completely, and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Ryan and Jocelyn!”

“Gen watched my girls while I went to my sister's wedding and she went above and beyond - especially when my Daisy ended up being sick after getting into the trash right before I dropped her off. Gen sent me many, many pictures of my girls and kept me updated on Daisy and even went to the vet to get her medicine. I felt such a peace of mind knowing my girls were being watched over so well while I was gone.”

“Michelle and her family provided a wonderful home for Roscoe while we were out of town! I was very grateful for the photos she shared of Roscoe having adventures. Thank you, Michelle!”

“Lindsey did a fantastic job of taking care of Coco. During my trip, I had travel delays and Lindsey was more than accommodating to help with last minute changes. She gave me frequent updates on Coco and I felt very at ease knowing that my fur baby was in very good hands. Would highly recommend!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
