The best care for your best friend!Westhaven Trails, Madison, WI

Hello & Welcome! We’re so happy you’re considering Sasha’s Pawlz Pet Care, LLC for your fur family’s care! Providing the best care for your best friends is my life’s passion and I’m so excited to work with you to tailor care specific for you and your pawlz.

Current Covid-19 Protocol:

As an added piece of mind, I have taken PSI's Covid-19 Certification for Professional Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers, to further ensure my care protocols are in line with both industry standards and CDC guidelines.

I am returning fully to providing service. While much of my business practices have remained the same, here's how services currently look:

Walks: Contact-less walks using my own equipment. If you are home during walks, I will work with you on arrangements for picking up and dropping off your dogs while minimizing contact. My equipment is sanitized appropriately between uses and my hands washed and/or sanitized before, during, and after each walk.

Visits: Visits are being offered as long as your home is empty three hours before and ideally after my visit to allow a natural air disinfection process. I will minimize the surfaces I touch; if you'd like me to sanitize surfaces behind myself, please leave cleaning supplies easily accessible.

Boarding: Full boarding services are available! Upon arrival, I will have either a crate or a tie-out on my front porch. Please place your dog here and take their leash with you. I am asking items sent with your pups be limited to food portioned into individual meals in disposable/recyclable bags/containers, treats, medication, and one comfort item -- toy, t-shirt, or similar. Please, no beds or large blankets. If your pup prefers additional items, please let me know!

Daycare: Pick-up & Drop-off will be done similar to boarding.

Meet & Greets and Other In-Person Contact: Done virtually, as appropriate. In-person contact is outside, appropriately distanced when possible, and while masked as appropriate.

My home and all supplies used are cleaned and disinfected often with a veterinary-grade, animal-safe disinfectant. If you or anyone in your home is feeling unwell or begins displaying Covid-19 symptoms, please let me know, and know you can expect the same from me.

Current service offerings include:

• Evening and weekend walks and visits for all your pawlz – canine, feline, and everyone in between! These walks and visits can be 30- or 60-minutes and designed to meet your needs.

• Weekday mid-day walks and visits – Appointments can be booked in 10-15-minute pop-in/potty breaks or 30-minutes walks or drop-ins

• Daycare – Working from home allows me the flexibility to provide pups companionship if they’d rather not spend their days home alone or you’ll be out odd-hours and traditional daycare facilities aren’t available. Sasha is a fan of her daytime naps, so we don’t offer daycare in the traditional sense. However, we almost always have another dog or two in our home, so playtime may be available but not guaranteed. Daycare is available for up-to 10 hours/day with flexible drop-off/pick-up times.

• Boarding – Welcome to the family! Your pups are welcome to hang out with us in our home while you’re away. Long walks, playtime, fetch in the backyard, and lounging around the house are all included.

• Dog training! As training is not a service Rover offers, please contact me directly over at sashaspawlz .com to discuss your dog's needs.

• Others upon request; feel free to check out sashaspawlz .com for more ideas!

Why should you entrust me with your pawlz’ care?

My journey into the dog world really began when I adopted Sasha in 2016. Starting as a possessive, reactive, and self-entitled dog – through consistent work and training – she is now a respectful, loyal, and accountable pup. As an owner of a high-energy dog, I have learned how to positively redirect that energy through exercise, enrichment, and training. I also volunteer with Fetch WI Rescue – a foster-based dog rescue – and have gained experience with various breeds, sizes, temperaments, and levels or trust and training. As such, I am happy to work with your pup during their visits on any training you are doing with them. My experience is primarily with balanced training techniques, but I will continue any training you do with your pup using your methods.

We also live with two rabbits - Zeke and Zorro. Their space is in an area of our home our guest pawlz do not have access to, and all are able to coexist safely and harmoniously. I am very familiar with rabbit needs and habits, having cared for several before finally making my life-long dreams come true and adopting two of my own, and you should feel comfortable and confident entrusting the care of yours with me! I also have extensive experience with cats, indoor birds, other small animals, and farm care.

Health and safety are my top concerns. I am certified in pet first aid and CPR and always taking additional training classes. In addition to Rover's Guarantee, I am fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC, maintain current vaccination records of all pups in my home, and require owner confirmation of flea and tick treatment. I am a huge fan of open communication and ensuring you are actively involved in your pawlz’ care. I will always follow all instructions you provide as you truly know your pets best! Likewise, if anything ever seems “off” during our visits, you will be the first to know.

I am also Fear Free Level 3 certified! Fear Free certification is very new to the pet care world, and this certification has given me a plethora of new tools, methods, and skills to safely, carefully, and effectively provide care for even the most fearful of pets -- dogs, cats, and anyone in between.

**Effective March 15, 2020: Current vet/vaccination records must be on file for all walks, visits, and boarding stays. Please use this link to easily submit them:

2.5 acres & huge fenced play area!Verona, WI

My husband and I have been involved with dog rescue for over a decade and truly love pups. We have a couple of acres on a private drive with a very large fenced in area for safe play. We allow the dogs to play in the pool and always have them on long leads if needed. They love all the smells and adventures that the country life provides, yet we are still close enough to town to make for convenient drops and pick ups. We are always very flexible and happy to accommodate your schedule. I am also willing to pick up and drop off at your home if needed, so please don't hesitate to ask. I hope to get the chance to care for your pup the next time you are out of town!

I am dog's best friend!Verona, WI

I am patient and kind, used to unruly puppies and dogs who need a little extra training. I will pay extra attention to whatever specific ways you are training your dog to make sure they have the continuity needed to ensure successful training. I have worked hands-on with dogs in a clinic for three years, providing after hours care to animals being housed at the clinic and providing post surgery care. I have volunteered with two different area Humane Societies exercising and walking dogs yet to be adopted. I also grew up in a household with dogs. I am hoping to expand my education with animals and ultimately become a Veterinarian. I have worked with dogs as small as Chihuahuas and as large as giant Great Danes and everything in between.

Dogs & Cats LOVE me!Spring Harbor, Madison, WI

I have a small dog myself and she is a diva (large personality). We frequent the dog park and I've interacted with many dogs of many sizes. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a medium Terrier Mix and several cats.

For BOARDING:

Due to many established repeat clients, my calendar tends to fill quickly and I don’t accept new bookings for new clients with less than 5 days notice for overnight stays.

My home has an open backyard and front yard. I live close to a dog park and frequently take Roxie there as well. Roxie does well with other dogs. She's boarded with other dogs and participated in doggie day camps with dogs of all sizes. Most large dogs love to hang out with her in the dog park too. Roxie has played with Rover Guests of all sizes: Retrievers, Labs, Corgis, Yorkies, Terrier Mixes, Chihuahuas, Bichon Frise, and more! We typically host 2-3 pups at a time; many are repeat clients who love staying with us and they all get a whole lot of equal love!

I'm typically away from 8:30am-5pm Mondays-Fridays. Every day, I go home for about an hour to take Roxie out during lunch (12-1PM) and I take her for a short walk. Weekends, I am mostly free and Roxie and I run errands together if the weather is nice and we go to the dog park in the afternoon for a long run. Roxie typically goes out between 6:30-7:15am, 12-1pm, 4:30-5:30pm, and right before bedtime.

Drop-off/pick-up can be anytime before 8:30AM, 12:15-12:45pm, and between 5-10pm. My schedule is somewhat flexible during weekends so if you need a specific time, I can make it work. I'm very accommodating. Just let me know in advance when you are thinking about booking and I can check my schedule for that day. If you have a busy schedule, I can also pick-up and drop-off for free! I have extra harnesses (all sizes) and seatbelts for pups!

Let me know what your fur-baby's routine is like (sleep, eat, play schedule). I know that every time I have Roxie boarded, I hope that she is comfortable while I am away. I want the same for your fur-baby! Also, with your permission and if your pup is registered, I can take them to the dog park that’s close by!

For DROP-INS:

I have experience with drop-ins for dogs, cats, and fish! If you would like me to do a short walk during the 30 minute drop-in for your pup, let me know! I typically like to refresh their water, give a treat (if you allow it), and make sure they go potty! For cats, I will make sure their water & food is replenished and will clear out litter boxes! I will also water your plants, bring in your mail/newspapers.

Thanks for considering me (and Roxie). Let’s set up a Meet & Greet!

I love dogs but am not able to have one now. I have many years of experience caring for all types of dogs from puppies to seniors. From the dog park, to playing fetch in the yard, I enjoy spending time with canine friends. I have an intuitive approach to care and focus on learning about your dog and its individual needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pooch and providing professional care in a warm and relaxed atmosphere either in your home or mine. Contact me for your next dog care job!

Love Dogs! They love me, too!Capitol, Madison, WI

Growing up, we *always* had a dog in our family.. (including Welsh Terriers, Schnauzers, Pomeranians!). I now live in downtown Madison — a half block from the Capitol — and stop to say “hello” to most every dog I see, when out-and-about on errands. Dogs seem to love the attention, too. I’m retired, and have a flexible schedule. This app seems like a natural fit for me, as I have both the time to devote to this, and a genuine love of animals. I’m in Madison probably 50 weeks out of the year ? You will find me both dependable, and punctual! I’ve cared for several neighbors’ dogs, here in my condo building. If I can help you and your dog, it’ll be my pleasure!

3+ Years Rover Experience!Capitol, Madison, WI

Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a responsible, young professional who is happy to help care for your dog while you are away on vacation or business. I have a 7-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who loves to play with other dogs of any size. He weighs around 50 pounds, and when he isn't playing or eating, he's usually sleeping.

I have been watching dogs on Rover for more than 3 years now, and have had the pleasure of meeting some really wonderful pups. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured your dog will get the attention they deserve. I send lots of great pictures (check them out on my profile) and the dogs I watch always have a great time.

I live in downtown Madison, a couple of blocks from the Capitol. I work from home, so I will be able to watch your pup throughout the day.

I usually take my dog to a nearby park each morning where he gets plenty of exercise and plays with his friends. I am happy to bring your dog along as well, or if you prefer, I can stick to long morning walks instead.

Please feel free to get in touch with me. I am happy to watch your dog and will ensure that your dog is treated with the best of care. And my dog Freddie loves having a friend to play with. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon!

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG:

To make sure that we are a good fit for each other, I do require a meet and greet in advance to make sure we are a good fit for you and that our pups get along.

Experienced dog handlerCross Plains, WI

I've been training and caring for dogs for 10 years now. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. With my training experience, I'm comfortable with any type of equipment you prefer to use. My own dogs at home range from 15 pounds to 65 pounds. While you're away I'll send you updates and pictures of our adventures so you know what's going on. I can administer oral meds, but not inectable meds. My work schedule allows me to take dogs in Thursday nights after 7:00 p.m until Sundays until 8pm. If you are looking to work on any obedience skills while you're away, let me know and we can discuss that. I can't wait to meet you and your dog My favorite saying. The best adventures are with dogs.Greenbush, Madsion, WI

Best Air bnb for dogs. I treat every animal as my own, and if I am allowed I will spoil them as if they were on vacation. I have a strong passion for animals and they should all be treated as if they were human. I have always grown up with dogs in my household , from a German Shepard, to a Cocker Spaniel, to a poodle, and to siberian huskies. My family and I have always had a great respect and love for animals and have even became vegan to support animal cruelty. I have many great years of owning dogs and training them so I consider myself acceptably qualified for a dog sitter. Being an online student and working in the same building as my apartment gives me the advantage to make time to dog sit and expand my experties in dog sitting. I am very comfortable with any dog and would enjoy to be accompanied by any. My few years of dog walking in Los Angeles and owning dogs have shown me how much time and attention dogs need as well as time away that their owners need, so I believe my help as a dog sitter can benefit these needs and make life much easier for dogs and dog owners. On another note, I am really flexible with the services and rates with my clients. I will always discuss the time and dates of the service and what is the best fee for the client and myself.

Care + fun for your best friendFitchburg, WI

Hello! I’m a new grad who recently relocated to Madison for work! I work a 8-5 job and my schedule is fairly flexible. Unfortunately, I am not typically able to leave work midday for lunches/potty breaks.

Growing up my family had a 100 lb lab and a pit mix, which we raised since they were both puppies. I’ve volunteered at many animal shelters and assisted training Leader Dogs for the Blind for the last 5 years. So, I have a great deal of experience with dogs of varying ages and sizes. I absolutely love dogs and would love to have a chance to care for yours! Your pup will love the long walks and a ton of play time with me.

I currently live in an apartment with a super friendly pup named Zeus and his human. We do not have a fenced in area, but we do have a large grassy field that many residents use to exercise their dogs. There are more pup parties out there than I have ever seen! With being in an apartment, I can provide adequate exercise time outside as well as frequent potty breaks.
