“May-Kate was great with our cats! We came home from vacation to two very happy cats! This was our first time leaving them with a cat sitter, and we were nervous about leaving them, but they loved playing with her and enjoyed her visits. She was super quick to respond to any texts I sent and always sent photos of the cats and notes about her visits right after she was finished. Her photos and notes about how they were doing gave us peace of mind and let us know our cats were well taken care of while we were away. We'll definitely book her again when we go out of town!”

“We tasked Larry with a last minute booking for our two kittens. He did amazing with them and followed all instructions. He was very respectful of our apartment as well. Will definitely book again!”

“I am beyond satisfied and so pleased with Linda's care for my kitties while I was away. It can be so stressful for Pets (and Pet Parents), trying to make sure all is okay when out of town, especially when an older animal may need special care. Linda went above and beyond, was reliable, respectful and responsible (a huge snow storm didn't prevent her from visits) flexible-my plans changed due to a family issue, twice. Linda was calm and accommodating, which gave me such peace of mind. And my home was tidier than when I left! Most important- my cats are happy, apparently well fed and amused, and not traumatized by being away from their home or ignored. Linda's daily photos and "report card" was terrific! Thank you, Linda, for everything. Now my cats are back to ignoring me, I know they're probably waiting for Linda to come by...!”

“Nicole did a great job with my dog Shadow. He looked so so happy in all of the pictures she sent. She was extremely punctual with her timing, and kept me updated on how the visit went!”

“Don’t let the limited reviews scare you away! She watched both of my dogs for a week. She was on time, sent great pictures, monitored food intake and was quick to respond. Hope to have her watch the doggies again!”

“Michelle was incredible! She went above and beyond what we asked when she checked on our cat, Pounce. We came home to a happy and fed cat! Will absolutely look to use Michelle again in the future.”

About: I am not currently working so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to the pups! In general I'm quite flexible, I like to fly by the seat of my pants. Within the past 9 years my brother got a Basset Hound, (who has since passed), my parents got a German Shepherd, (who has since passed), and I got a Shepherd/Hound rescue pup. Man so I miss having pup around! I've quickly become the dog sitter because I like dogs more than people! I am very comfortable with big dogs and open to working with smaller dogs. I love taking long walks with the pups. If the dog is willing I love to teach them new things! I have all of the patience in the world for dogs. They are and will always be my number one priority at all times. I will respect and follow any rules or guidelines you have knowing full well how much work goes into training and wouldn't want to cause any set backs. I'm a stay at home mom of a 5 year boy. He goes everywhere with me and is also amazing with dogs. So if your dog just needs some company or a nice walk, I'm your girl! I care for any pet as if it were my own. Any specific directions given to me will be followed to a "T". I know how important pets are and I treat them as such.

“Very friendly and great with our kitties! Let me know when she was heading over a followed up with several pictures, as well as what she did. Would hire again!!”

“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”

“Evelyn was fantastic! At the meet and greet she showed up with pen and paper taking notes to make sure she didn’t miss anything important, which I loved since my dogs have a lot of instructions. She came on a walk with us on their regular route to see how they act and what they’re used to. I am very pleased to continue working with Evelyn in the future!”

“Kailey was great with our dogs during the drop in visit. One of our dogs is protective and weary of new people, but he was calm and comfortable with her. We’d definitely hire her again!”

“Maria is fantastic to work with. My bunny is very comfortable with her. She communicates well and responds promptly. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you as always Meg, for taking such good care of our little fur baby! Meg is the best and always takes the most care with and for our kitty! 🩷”

“We would absolutely use Sandy again. She was great with our cats and provided excellent service. We appreciate how communicative she is and always looked forward to her daily reports. She helped up feel our cats were in good hands with her, which is very important whenever we travel without them.”

“Kaelin made time to meet us and my Loki before starting drop ins. She was delightful and I (and my pup) felt very comfortable with her immediately. Although the weather was sleeting rain, she played frisbee with my high energy border collie for the majority of her time with him each day and left lovely little check in messages and photos.”

About: “Every snack you make, every meal you bake, every bite you take…I’ll be watching you.” - 🐕🐕🦺🐩 Fun Fact: If your dog doesn’t like them, you probably won’t either! Nearby the Northway, 787, and I-90. Just 15 minutes away from Albany International Airport and Albany Bus Terminal. My home is the perfect location for flexible drop-offs and pick-ups - early or late to match your travel needs. I have 10 years of experience. I provide specialized care for both playful little ones and senior pets, including gentle handling, health monitoring, and medication administration. I've had my two Maltese dogs for 9 amazing years, and they truly are my whole world! My journey with animals started when I was a child with my first pet, a sweet pitbull who was my constant companion. As I grew up, I discovered just how easily I bond with animals, which has only deepened my love for them. Right now, I have a female Maltese named Luna and a male Maltese named Christmas (but we call him Chris). I adore all kinds of animals, big and small! My goal is to provide a true calm and relaxed "home away from home” environment for every tail that walks through my door💕. Which means your pet will be treated like family-whether staying at my home or coming with me to work. Please note that I only take 1 household pet(s) at a time. Quality over quantity always! PLEASE make sure your pets are current on Rabies, Bordetella, and free of fleas/ticks. Thank you! I truly believe in keeping my clients' pets company, which is why I never leave them alone at home. Taking care of your furry friends is my passion, and I make sure your pets are always by my side, even at work. Yes, you read that correctly! I bring all my adorable pet clients to the office with me. During my breaks, we enjoy a fun 30-minute walk around the neighborhood, soaking up the fresh air and enjoying the weather! If you have any questions or concerns about my work environment, location, or schedule, I would be more than happy to address them before you confirm your bookings. Pet Care Policies & Meet-and-Greets To ensure the best experience for you and your pet, I offer meet-and-greet sessions to better understand your pet's routine, temperament, and specific needs. Safety is always my top priority, so please disclose any reactivity or resource guarding behaviors. ABOUT ME: Hi there! I’m originally from NYC but moved to the Albany area six years ago to be closer to my family. I graduated from Mercy University in 2023 with a degree in Behavioral Science, and I'm currently working towards my dream career as a Real Estate Investor! When I'm not busy with pets or work, I love hitting the gym, diving into a good book, exploring new restaurants, and enjoying quality time with my family and furry pals. I work from 8:30am- 5pm. But your pets will be with me at work or at home if I’m working remotely. Thoughout the day, I will take my client’s pets out for a walk around the neighborhood or a hike in a local park. (If your dog enjoys being around other dogs, I usually take them to a local dog park where they can run and play freely!) AND BEST OF ALL… Spend some quiet time together. Cuddle on the couch and give a gentle massage to help them relax! A little note for my wonderful repeat clients: Once you’re comfortable, I’m happy to offer convenient off-app payment options like Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Looking forward to taking care of your pets! For my client's pets - I send detailed updates throughout the day with very high-quality photos. If I'm providing 24-hour care, I'll send three quality updates (morning, afternoon, and evening). I like to keep my clients in the loop and connected to their pets in a way that relieves worry. I make sure that all pets are walked, fed, have water throughout the day, and receive lots of love/care! Since I have pets of my own, I like to watch body language and (if needed) I separate dogs if they seem uncomfortable or they aren’t understanding another dog’s language. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen and the goal is to keep everyone safe.

About: I have experience walking dogs, feeding and watching cats and dogs, administering medication, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I'm all about providing kind care for you pet. I work full time Monday through Friday so I'm available most afternoons and evenings during the week, with more flexibility on weekends. Overall my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm willing to work with your needs. Everyone's home is different and I'm fine working within the boundaries you have with your pets in your home. Clear communication from both me and you so we can both have a great experience is my goal.

About: I have pet sat on multiple occasions for friends and acquaintances alike since I was in undergrad. I have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, and even goats! What makes me unique compared to other pet sitters is my 3.5 months of professional experience in an animal shelter setting — both with volunteering and handling animals. I had to complete training to work with the rescue dogs in the fall of 2024, where I learned techniques such as “Fancy Footwork” and “Click for Quiet.” Now I continue to implement what I was taught in my in-laws’s dog’s training. Additionally, as of March 2025, I've obtained a Fear Free Shelters Course certification, which specializes in recognizing animal behavior I do work an 8-4 in Voorheesville, NY Monday through Friday most weeks, but I do get time off for most federal holidays. I could petsit during a 3-day weekend (and on Election Day and Veterans Day) in addition to being available on Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays I do have a rabbit, so to ensure his safety and comfort, I would have to come to your home if I were to house sit/petsit/dog walk. However, I do always see to it that every pet I'm watching's basic needs are met (they have food, water, they are not too hot or too cold, they can go outside/use their bathroom area, they're cleaned up after) and then some. When it's okay with the owner, sometimes I like to bring over a treat or a new toy for them. I would consider myself to be a novice dog handler, so it would be best if I didn't watch any reactive dogs (e.g. those who are leash reactive, dog reactive, noise reactive, or have stranger danger). I am familiar and comfortable with Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Doodle-mixes, French Bulldogs, Dachshunds, Great Danes and Shepherds. If your dog is a mixed-breed, that would not be a deal breaker for me. As long as they are friendly and show no aggression towards new people, I think we're going to have a great time!

“Dogs love Hailey! She prompt, courteous, reliable. A+++”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family since I was a teenager. I have experience with young, active, senior and reactive dogs. I owned a senior dog for the last few years and have experience with medications and taking things a little slower for those older pups. I love taking dogs out for walks, playing in the back yard, dog park, etc I currently work from home most days and am able to walk pets before and after work and keep them company while working. I do go into the office at least once a week for a full 8 hour work day. I do not have other pets in the home or any children. I have a yard, it is not fully fenced in at the moment. I live close to parks and in a walkable neighborhood. I can crate your pet if necessary.

“Sarah is always a pleasure to work with! She is always responsible and professional and loves all pets. Whenever she would watch over my pets for me, there was never any concern about her showing up and giving my pets the love the need and deserve! She would always make sure to give them extra attention to make sure they are happy. I would recommend Sarah to anyone!”

Jessica S.
“Jessica is great! She’s very trustworthy and puts caring for the animals first. She follows any guidance you give her exactly and really treats them like they’re her own. I don’t trust people with my animals easily (dogs, cat, horse), but she’s one of the few that I do. If something goes wrong and she can’t get in touch with me, I’d trust her judgement with a vet too.”

Hailey N.
“Dogs love Hailey! She prompt, courteous, reliable. A+++”

Emma D.
“Emma is wonderful! She has taken care of my beloved dog numerous times. I am extremely confident that my dog will be loved, cuddled and well taken care of when I cannot be there myself. If you want the best person to love on your dog and make sure all their needs are met while you are away - Emma is your person !”
