About: I’ve always had a love for animals - and especially cats! I grew up volunteering at animal shelters, working to help socialize both cats and dogs to help them get adopted faster. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs most of my life. This is the first time since I was 6 years old that I don't have a pup to take care of. I grew up in a very pet oriented household (including cats, dogs and pet pigs). But, more importantly he was highly flexible about the drop off and pick up times so that we were able to pick our dog up on our way home from the Albany Amtrak from a weekend in NYC. All without the administrative restrictions of other facilities which have set pick up and drop off hours which are never convenient to the pet owner! Just let him know our train arrival time before we left and confirmed when we were on our way upon arrival.”
“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”
