About: Hii! I volunteered at shelters but I preferred building a relationship with pets in Rhode Island :) I grew up around many dogs and cats. A fun challenge was when we adopted our German Shepherd puppy! Training him was a fun challenge, but it was harder (yet more rewarding) when we adopted his brother as well! Now they’re grown and trained but I can still see the little puppy they are in their eyes! I also have a senior dog that needs extra care, but I love making sure she’s comfy and gets her massages. I work a hybrid 9-5, so I can make time mornings and evenings for pet care. On my work from home days I am more flexible to do care during the day. Weekends are fully available! In your home I would make sure pets are in their designated areas and can’t escape! Cleanliness is the largest thing I would keep in mind while making sure your pet is comfortable!

About: I have been raising dogs with my family since middle school, starting with an Alaskan Malamute puppy that was only 30 days old when we first brought her home. I grew up alongside her and gradually took on full responsibility for her daily care. This experience helped me develop patience, attentiveness, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep emotional bond with dogs. Now, after more than ten years of experience living with dogs, I treat every dog with the same care and affection as my own. Dogs tend to respond positively to me, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and companionship with them. Caring for dogs is not just something I do—it is something I am truly passionate about and committed to. At the moment, I primarily work remotely, and I spend most of my time with my wife. This allows me to have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I am able to provide pet care services at any time throughout the week, and I approach each task with full energy, attention, and genuine enthusiasm. I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for every pet. During walks and outdoor activities, I carefully monitor the surrounding environment, making sure the area is safe and watching for any harmful objects or food that could pose a risk to the pet. I also pay close attention to interactions with unfamiliar dogs and other animals, ensuring that the experience remains positive and stress-free. I carefully observe each pet’s behavior, energy level, and overall condition, including monitoring their bathroom habits as an indicator of their health. I adjust exercise intensity based on the pet’s needs and make sure they cool down properly after more active play or walks. After high-energy activities, I provide water gradually and safely rather than allowing them to drink too quickly. I also provide detailed grooming care, including gentle brushing and checking for ticks or other concerns. If necessary, I will carefully remove ticks and make sure the pet remains comfortable. Beyond basic care, I enjoy spending time with pets through play, affection, and companionship. I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I would give to my own pet.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. I know the care that is required to keep them happy and healthy. I’ve also volunteered at a dog shelter. I’m currently a student at Johnson & Wales University and have classes from morning to early afternoon. I also work part-time at a coffee bar in Narragansett on Fridays and Saturdays in the morning. So I afternoon-evenings free all week. I have always had dogs and cats growing up and know what it means to properly take care of them. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter.

I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker and part-time student, so I am available for all of your pet's needs! From potty training your new pup, to a family vacation- I've got you covered. Each pet is treated with respect, compassion, and positive reinforcement only. Walks: Need to get some extra steps in? I encourage dogs to make safe choices on walks like choosing our direction or sniffing interesting spots to fulfill their instinctual needs. Dogs must be on harnesses for their safety and mine. I do not allow on-leash greetings. Drop-ins: Potty training or need to give your buddy their meds mid-day? I provide a potty break, play time, or any other enrichment your dog needs to keep their day as fun as when you're home. Housesitting: Going on vacation? I follow your schedule to keep your dog's day as stress-free as possible! Most visits include drop-ins and walks in addition to lots of nightly snuggles. Will adhere to structured crate time if requested. My own dogs, May and Fig, receive daily walks, off-leash time, and enrichment, in addition to frequent camping and overnight adventures. I have successfully crate-trained my dogs and the dogs that I have fostered through positive reinforcement.
