About: I have been a pet owner my whole life including dogs, cats, rabbit, gerbils, and more. I started volunteering when I was 12 at my local humane society, where I would sit with dogs to comfort them while they wait for their forever home. While I was in college I also started to foster, I fostered 3 cats and a dog over several months. Since I have always had pets, I have helped train puppies, and with senior animal medical care. I have also worked with special needs/trauma (ex. epileptic, male aggression, previous owners abuse, anxiety). I have house sat for my parents, extended family, and family friends. I am looking forwards to cherishing your furbabies, their new best friend awaits! I have just moved back to the states after living in Europe with my partner. We are starting a new chapter and I want to use rover as a way to make money and to help us save for our next steps. It would be my main focus, in my very flexible schedule. As such I will be available for your pet's needs anytime and anywhere. I have worked with all kinds of animals with different needs and will be able to provide whatever you and your pet(s) require. I am fun-loving and friendly, with a huge soft-spot for any animal. My approach centers around trust-building with your pet, making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I'm willing to visit your house multiple times a day and entertain your prescious babies, walk them multiple times, stay the night if necessary. I can take them to dog parks if they like that, parks if not. Your pet will barely notice that you are absent (besides missing their wonderful parent/s)!

About: I have been raising dogs with my family since middle school, starting with an Alaskan Malamute puppy that was only 30 days old when we first brought her home. I grew up alongside her and gradually took on full responsibility for her daily care. This experience helped me develop patience, attentiveness, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep emotional bond with dogs. Now, after more than ten years of experience living with dogs, I treat every dog with the same care and affection as my own. Dogs tend to respond positively to me, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and companionship with them. Caring for dogs is not just something I do—it is something I am truly passionate about and committed to. At the moment, I primarily work remotely, and I spend most of my time with my wife. This allows me to have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I am able to provide pet care services at any time throughout the week, and I approach each task with full energy, attention, and genuine enthusiasm. I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for every pet. During walks and outdoor activities, I carefully monitor the surrounding environment, making sure the area is safe and watching for any harmful objects or food that could pose a risk to the pet. I also pay close attention to interactions with unfamiliar dogs and other animals, ensuring that the experience remains positive and stress-free. I carefully observe each pet’s behavior, energy level, and overall condition, including monitoring their bathroom habits as an indicator of their health. I adjust exercise intensity based on the pet’s needs and make sure they cool down properly after more active play or walks. After high-energy activities, I provide water gradually and safely rather than allowing them to drink too quickly. I also provide detailed grooming care, including gentle brushing and checking for ticks or other concerns. If necessary, I will carefully remove ticks and make sure the pet remains comfortable. Beyond basic care, I enjoy spending time with pets through play, affection, and companionship. I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I would give to my own pet.

About: Detail-oriented, compassionate, and fun, I have cared for pets for over 12 years! From puppy-hood to senior years, I have cared for dogs throughout their lifespan using positive reinforcement training methods learned from working alongside talented trainers and fostering dogs through local rescues. I value each animal as an individual with their own thoughts, feelings, and preferences. I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker and part-time student, so I am available for all of your pet's needs! From potty training your new pup, to a family vacation- I've got you covered. Each pet is treated with respect, compassion, and positive reinforcement only. Walks: Need to get some extra steps in? I encourage dogs to make safe choices on walks like choosing our direction or sniffing interesting spots to fulfill their instinctual needs. Dogs must be on harnesses for their safety and mine. I do not allow on-leash greetings. Drop-ins: Potty training or need to give your buddy their meds mid-day? I provide a potty break, play time, or any other enrichment your dog needs to keep their day as fun as when you're home. Housesitting: Going on vacation? I follow your schedule to keep your dog's day as stress-free as possible! Most visits include drop-ins and walks in addition to lots of nightly snuggles. Will adhere to structured crate time if requested. My own dogs, May and Fig, receive daily walks, off-leash time, and enrichment, in addition to frequent camping and overnight adventures. I have successfully crate-trained my dogs and the dogs that I have fostered through positive reinforcement.

About: I have 20+ years of experience with pet sitting, walking and care. I have worked with puppies to seniors. I have 2 seniors at home myself, one that requires a little more attention than the other. I am very adamant about teaching skills and commands, and encourage play times to keep active. I work a full time job during the week and help a friend out on the weekends, but am available after work Monday-Thursday and Saturday and Sunday mornings to help with walking, playtime, feeding and or just letting them out into the yard. Depending on the client's needs, I can accommodate what is requested. I have a fenced in yard at my house, but also prefer walking my dogs for the extra exercise.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have found Rich (Kemba) for our American Bulldog, George. Our meet & greet was off to a slow start, as George is not always friendly to new people. Kemba and his wife Sandra, however, we so amazingly patient, understanding and kind to George - allowing him time to warm up a bit as we talked about his particular needs. Clearly they have a wealth of knowledge and experience working with all sorts of animals, including those who are "misunderstood". We scheduled a 2 week period of 2/day drop-in visits for George, beginning with yesterday (while my husband and I were home to show Kemba the ropes). George was extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming, but Kemba remained calm and collected, explaining George's behavior and reassuring him. He reassured me as well, as I was stressing out over George's outburst. We reviewed some of the notes I left for Kemba and went outside for a short playtime. George is very capable, caring hands with this man. We have a very good feeling moving forward and are confident that he and George will be great friends. I cannot recommend Kemba more highly.”

About: Hi, I'm Ella! I'm a lifelong animal lover based in Rhode Island, and I genuinely believe pets are family. My background is in public service and childcare, which has taught me the importance of responsibility, communication, patience, and creating a safe environment for the people (and pets!) who depend on me. I'm used to friendly pets or those who need more space. I can handle it all and will communicate all updates to you quickly. I have early and evening availability until mid-August and then open availability. I'm happy to do early early mornings or later nights, and have a vehicle so can get wherever you need. I've been a house-sitter for years and respect your space immensely!
