“Anely is an excellent sitter very warm ,affectionate and accomodating . We were traveling through Providence and had to keep our dog Cookie with her for two days consecutively and this was our first time with her. She absolutely made sure Cookie felt at home with her and also provided him with food ,walk ,toys plays etc. Cookie usually has anxiety issues at times so we were bit picky about choosing the right kind of day boarding for him. But Anely was a perfect choice.Though she was sitting few more dogs on those days but that never became an issue for our Cookie, so needless to say she is also expert at her job. It was because of Anely that we could enjoy Newport and other attractions of RI so much without having to worry about how Cookie is doing. She also sent us hourly updates with pictures over texts. My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty with just me and my elderly mother. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Hi! My names Brianna and I’m your pets new best friend! I am a 25 year old vegan that was raised by a mom that worked in an animal sanctuary out on the West Coast. When we moved here to Rhode Island, my mom continued to be a vet tech and brought her love of animals home while we fostered all kinds! My love for animals alongside learning to care for them is not only in my blood, but began at a very young age. I have 10 pets of my own at home! Cats, reptiles, and spiders. While my cats are too attention demanding to have a dog of my own at the moment, I LOVE being around dogs whenever possible, there’s no dog too big or too small for me! This why I decided to join Rover! I’m also experienced in working with older, nervous, and young animals. I’m so excited to get to know your pet(s). About: I have over 15 years of experience in pet care with dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and birds. I currently have a dog and cats of my own to help keep your pet company during their stay (for this reason, pets looking to stay with me must be non-aggressive towards cats and other dogs). I offer drop-ins, walks, and boarding services. During their stay, your pup will get daily exercise and activity (depending on their individual needs) through walks, off-leash play in a secure yard, and mentally stimulating games/puzzles. I can take your pet out for the bathroom as often as every three hours, which can be an ideal situation for senior pups or those with medical conditions! If your pet must be left alone during any period of time (such as during feedings), it will be done so in an appropriately-sized crate, and so it is ideal for your pet to be crate-trained. When they aren't playing, your pet will likely be hanging out indoors with me, either lounging around or people-watching out the windows or in a sun-patch on the porch while getting lots and lots of pets. For cats, I offer a deluxe kitty room with a play tunnel, cat tree, high shelves for jumping/climbing, many soft blankets, a variety of toys, a running fountain water bowl, and an abundance of dark hiding places to help them feel comfortable. I am available all day to ensure your pet's needs are met. Dogs can be let out as often as every three hours and cats can be checked on and played with as often as their individual personalities require. I have a fenced-in yard for your pup to play in, as well as cats and a dog of my own to keep them company. Indoors they have plenty of space as well to play, people-watch out the window, and snooze.
