My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty with just me and my elderly mother. I still love to have my freedom but would love to take on sitting your pet in my home or your home. I also work from home M-F, so your pet will have me with them for a majority of the time I’m caring for them. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. Everytime I would reach out she would answer promptly and send pictures checking in. Pickup was easy, quick no issues. Highly recommend and plan on booking again in the future!”
“Isabel was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and thoughtful throughout my dog’s two-week stay. Her daily updates with photos were something we looked forward to, they became one of the highlights of our trip and gave us great peace of mind. It was wonderful to see our dog become part of her family. By the end of the stay, I was almost worried he wouldn’t want to come home! 🥲 I couldn’t recommend Isabel more highly. He was incredibly patient with her and helped her build trust and feel safe during her stay. He also helped her become more comfortable around other dogs, which meant a lot to us.
