About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and understand just how much energy, attention, and love they need to thrive. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels happy and cared for. I’m also experienced in administering medications and injections, so I’m comfortable supporting dogs with specific health needs. My goal is to keep your dog safe, active, and loved—just like you would. I am currently in college right now. I am a commuter so I stay at home. I am always in between free in between classes as well as the weekends being completely open. I provide care that keeps pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, whether they’re in my home or their own. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment by maintaining their feeding schedule, exercise, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I spend quality time with them through play, walks, and attention, while also keeping their space clean and stress-free. In my home, I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax and feel at ease. I supervise them closely, provide plenty of attention, and make sure they have a clean space, fresh water, and regular meals. I also have a 2 year old cat named Cairo that is an absolute pleasure to be around. He would love to provide your animals the company they might want.

“Megan is everything that you look for in a Sitter, but never find. Megan and my Bichon bonded immediately. Lexi doesn't roll over for a belly rub until she is really comfortable with someone, and that usually takes being around that person a number of times, but she rolled over and wanted a belly rub the first time Megan was here to watch her. Megan remembered everything that we had gone over at the Meet & Greet. She was on time for the Sitting. It's normally hard to leave your dog with someone new, but I was 100% comfortable leaving Lexi with Megan, as I saw how they adored each other. Megan sent some really cute pictures of Lexi, which I really enjoyed seeing. I had complete trust in Megan, which is a great feeling, as it usually takes a little bit of time to build this level of trust. I couldn't be happier, and feel very fortunate to have found such an amazing Sitter for Lexi. I already have Megan scheduled to watch Lexi 2 more times in the very near future. I care for own fur babies daily and volunteer at a shelter once a week. Everyone gets individualized attention, their favorite foods and lots of pets. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds from rescues, seniors, puppies, and everything in between. I also have experience caring for cats and some smaller animals and reptiles. Feel free to ask me about your other pets and I’ll let you know honestly if I am able to provide care. I'd be a great fit if you're a detail-oriented or slightly worried/anxious pet parent who wants their routine followed to the letter, frequent updates, and someone who treats your home and family members with love and respect. Getting a routine right matters a lot to me. I ask lots of questions upfront and pay close attention to the small stuff: think feeding times, meds, favorite routes, comfort items, quirks, fears, or behaviors, because those details are what make a dog feel secure. I'd rather over-communicate than guess. I lived with and cared for a reactive dog for 13 years, so I know firsthand what it takes to help an anxious dog feel safe, and how to prevent conflict in the first place. All my dogs have been rescues, and I have a soft spot for dogs who need extra patience to warm up. I'm not a certified trainer, but I've spent years learning dog training, body language, and enrichment, and every interaction is rooted in positive reinforcement. I will require a meet and greet with your pet in advance of the first booking so they can become familiar with me, and so I can become familiar with their routine and needs. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to be present for your dog, whether that's extra walks, playtime, or just being around for company, and I'm happy to talk through what kind of availability works best for your pet! I work from home which allows me the flexibility to prioritize pet care in a way I wouldn’t be able to with a traditional office. This gives me the ability to keep anxious dogs company, breaks for play time, medication, cuddles or walks when they are needed, not when they can be fit in. I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in my home or theirs, I work on building trust by moving at each pet’s pace and honoring their boundaries. Safety is always my top priority, I supervise pets closely, follow all instructions carefully, and adapt to their unique needs. I keep spaces clean, hazard-free, and ensure pets have fresh water, proper food, and quiet resting spots. For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Every care plan is tailored specifically to your pet’s needs after we discuss what works best for them.
