About: With a lifetime of experience living with dogs, I am confident around them. I own two medium large dogs that love their lifestyle. "Wow, he/she doesn't usually like men!" is something I've heard a lot from people when I meet their dog. It takes patience to learn a dog's communication style, but when they feel understood they do everything they can to express themselves. When they feel comfortable with my ability to successfully communicate they trust me. I've dog sat for friends, but this time in my life I can do more. I'm mostly finished with professional career life. I'm writing the great American novel instead now. I walk my dogs twice a day and go on hikes on weekends where they're allowed. Dogs are the secret to a peaceful mind. Respectful of space and privacy, I'm here for your dogs because I have dogs. I'd want someone who cares about dogs to care for mine when I'm not there.

About: I’ve cared for dogs cats and mice my entire life. I currently have two wonderful rescue dog who I love very very very much. I would love to care for your pet ❤️ I am a hybrid worker and can be flexible around your schedule. My greatest availability is on the weekends. I would love to care for your pet ❤️ I will care for your pets, as if they are my own. On walks, I will make sure your dogs don’t eat anything off the floor or drink from puddles. I am aware of triggers as well as keeping an eye out for other dogs and will not allow your dog to meet other dogs, unless, you prefer that they do. I have cared for dogs of every size, flavor, and temperament. I have extensive experience training dogs, and quite frankly, I've watched a whole lot of Westminster dog show. In particular, I have specialized experience with shy or nervous dogs and will provide them the space and understanding needed to relax and feel comfortable. I am happy to walk or jog to help burn canine energy. Not afraid to get down in the dirt and play! I have been deeply involved in cat rescue since 2020, when I began working remotely. I have fostered dozens of cats over the years. This includes kittens with complex medical issues. I am very capable at medicating cats and kittens as well as identifying when a cat may be feeling unwell. When you board with me, your pet will not be left alone for more than 1 hour. I only board pets from one household at a time and provide dedicated personal care. When your baby is at my house, they are family. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions. I'm currently working remotely doing project-based contract work, so I have plenty of availability and scheduling flexibility. If boarding or house-sitting, I will be fully available and no pet will be left alone longer than an hour. I have a friendly chihuahua mix (8 lbs) and 2 cats, but if needed, I have plenty of room to give everyone their own space. I have an unfenced backyard with plenty of room to romp. Dogs will always be leashed or tethered in yard.

I am available for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, medication administration, and companionship before and after work, and I am happy to provide overnight stays when needed so your pets can maintain their routine and have company for longer periods of time. Weekends are generally wide open, allowing me to dedicate even more time and attention to your pets. My goal is always to provide dependable, loving care that gives both you and your pets peace of mind while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, administer medications if needed, and make sure pets get the exercise, playtime, and attention they’re used to receiving.
