Dog trainer w/ a love for pet care
Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn and while I may be new to Rover, I’m not new to animal care. I’m a certified professional dog trainer with 10+ years of experience working in many niches of the dog world! I’ve spent years managing a training department in an animal shelter, raised neonate puppies, trained service dogs, and am currently enjoying competing in dog sports with my own pups. One dog and I competed in the North America Diving Dogs National Championships this October! I discovered my passion for dogs during my 7 years working on a horse farm. I have experience caring for more than just dogs and cats- I’ve also owned rabbits and reptiles and have cared for horses, small critters, fish, and even cows. I have a special soft spot for the big dogs, especially typically misunderstood breeds. I take pride in my ability to read an animal’s body language and treat them with the utmost respect, which includes respecting their boundaries and adjusting myself accordingly should they have any behavior concerns. I’m comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes and can’t wait to meet yours!

I treat each client’s home as my own, often leaving it cleaner than I found it! I will follow whatever specific instructions you leave for me and I bring in your mail, water your plants, poop scoop your yard, clean your pet’s bowls, etc.

I’m reluctant to give a good review because Kaitlyn will become so popular that I will no longer be able to use her exceptional Services. She has the best qualities for this job. She’s kind she’s competent. She’s so good with animals. She’s smart. She makes great decisions while I’m away and I just wish she was my full-time nanny for my two beautiful little Italian Greyhound puppies. Kaitlyn gets a five star review from us because she is simply the best Rover service person I’ve ever had.
Kaitlyn took great care of our dog, Murph! She was communicative, friendly, and left both our house and sweet guy in great shape. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable pet care!

Programa
My availability is flexible and able to cater to your (and their) needs! Weekends and week nights are almost always free, and I’m able to provide care around my part-time work schedule.
