I have a large fenced in yard that provides my animals with safe spaces for exercise. I also have a pet water fountain inside the home to promote hydration especially during the summer months. My pets always get a breakfast and dinner, though each is tailored to their specific dietary needs. About: With a lifetime of experience living with dogs, I am confident around them. I own two medium large dogs that love their lifestyle. "Wow, he/she doesn't usually like men!" is something I've heard a lot from people when I meet their dog. It takes patience to learn a dog's communication style, but when they feel understood they do everything they can to express themselves. When they feel comfortable with my ability to successfully communicate they trust me. I've dog sat for friends, but this time in my life I can do more. I'm mostly finished with professional career life. I'm writing the great American novel instead now. I walk my dogs twice a day and go on hikes on weekends where they're allowed. About: Born dog person, with over 25 years experience. Big, small, old, young, no breeds are turned down. Weekends are preferable, but weekdays can be arranged as well! I have a job but I make my own schedule, so any dogs I have receive full attention. I can come in and out of my home all day if necessary. I have a fenced in yard with two medium sized friendly dogs which provide a great arena for play time. Frequent walks and/or runs will keep your dog happy and calm as well.

About: My love for animals has stayed constant throughout my life. I am currently a receptionist at a veterinary hospital. I would love to continue my education in the veterinary field. I have always especially loved dogs and never been without a dog in my home. I have a 1 year old bichon-shih tzu mix, Lulu, who is full of energy and loves to play. Depending on the pup I'm housing or if I'm house sitting, Lulu can either stay in my home, as she loves other dogs or I can take her to my friend's house for dogs who would prefer to be the only dog in a home. I will give your pup all the love, patience, and play time they need to be happy and I will look after your beloved pet just like my own!

I offer a happy and calming experience for your pet in which they will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles/playtime from me or naps and comfort time and relaxing music should they desire. I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed. The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!

About: I've been around pets all my life and developed a strong understanding of animal care from a young age. As an adult, I’ve gained hands-on experience with a range of pet personalities, from energetic working dogs and playful kittens, to nervous rescues with behavioral challenges. I helped socialize two shy, unhappy adult cats, one of whom took over a year to build trust. I’ve cared for Sonny, a reactive corgi mix, supporting his training, managing reactivity on walks, and recognizing stress signals. I’ve also bonded with Zelda, an anxious German Shepherd mix, helping her feel safe through patience and consistent care. I’ve managed feeding, walks, training, and emotional support for each pet with empathy and respect for their unique needs. I am a freelancer, so I work remotely and make my own schedule. This gives me a lot of flexibility for in-home visits and dog walks. I always carefully follow the instructions given by the pet parent. For working dog breeds, I make sure to give them long walks and plenty of play time. For more apprehensive animals, I will be mindful about making loud noises or sudden movement and give them time to warm up to me. I always adapt to the pets’ needs and send plenty of photo updates to the parents along the way.
