“Paula has become our go-to person when we need a pet sitter for our fur babies. She is trustworthy and responsible, she communicates with us during her stay, and she takes great care of our pets and house. We are always grateful when she is available to help us when we need help!”

“James was incredible with my spoiled weimaraner. He followed the routine my dog needs perfectly, was very professional, super reliable, and left my apartment clean after his stay. I would highly recommend!”

“Sarah did an amazing job taking care of my 13 month puppy. Wesley is high energy and loves attention! He really loved Sarah and I felt confident leaving him! Sarah communicated during her stay and even sent pictures. Wesley is a fussy eater and she got him to eat a meal. Sarah left my home neat and I would highly recommend her services. Don’t hesitate to book!”

About: My name is Alex and I would love to care for your furbabies as if they were my own! I host one family at a time (up to three pets from the same family). This ensures a premium experience for your pet that is calm, friendly and enjoyable. I do not have children or any pets of my own-this way I am be able to maintain a stress free environment for your pet to avoid any anxiety or nervousness around children or new animals. It is my job to put you and your pets at ease while you are away or busy. I want to ensure a stress free experience for all. 🐾 I will always be around to supervise the animals while I petsit! I offer a happy and calming experience for your pet in which they will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles/playtime from me or naps and comfort time and relaxing music should they desire. I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed. The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!
About: I've been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors animals since I was little. I've been working and volunteering at a local animal rescue for almost two years, and am comfortable and familiar with dogs of any kind, age, temperament, and more! I'm not afraid to clean up or play with a dog with energy, I've seen it all and have experience with hundreds of dogs! I am student at Virginia Tech, so coming home over the summer leaves me totally free! I'm eager to have something to fill my time, especially if it's checking in on a puppy every few hours, or getting me active while I'm on break. I have so much experience with maintaining a dogs environment and health, and can predict dogs needs based on behavior from my time working with them! I have worked with service dogs, special needs dogs, elderly dogs, almost newborn puppies, and more. Each dog is different and I love learning their needs and patterns over time.
“Trisha graciously watched my 2 older dogs at the last minute in my home. She was an amazing houseguest, and was incredible with my visually impaired dog who requires various daily medications. My other grumpy dog took to Trisha immediately, which is remarkable as he can be stingy with his affection. Thank you Trisha and we all look forward to seeing you again soon.❤️”

About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. I have also volunteered to dog walk at a few local shelters. I’m currently home from college for the summer and I have a lot of free time. I have a few short trips that are blocked out on my calendar and should be available otherwise. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.
About: I’ve cared for pets my entire life and bring a calm, attentive, and personalized approach to every animal I watch. I understand that each pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to adjust my care to fit their needs—whether that means playful energy, quiet companionship, or a little extra patience. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, including senior pets and those who may need medication, and I’m very mindful about keeping their environment clean, safe, and stress-free. I also have experience in multi-pet households, so I’m comfortable managing different temperaments while making sure every pet feels secure and cared for. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment where your pet feels comfortable, happy, and truly at home. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday routine, and I’m home most of the week to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care. I keep a consistent schedule with potty breaks, meals, playtime, and rest, making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I’m only away briefly once a week, and I always plan around that to make sure pets are still well taken care of. I truly enjoy being present with them, creating a calm, loving environment where they can feel relaxed, safe, and happy. I create a safe, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and at ease. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality, making sure to follow all care instructions and keep things as consistent as possible for them. In my home, pets are always supervised, and I take care with introductions and space to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I’m very mindful of safety, from secure spaces to feeding routines and behavior monitoring. My goal is to provide a calm, stress-free environment where pets feel safe, respected, and truly cared for.
“Jennifer and Emily meet in the morning of the November 15. Emily can be very shy. She immediately like Jennifer. I certainly did too! She is so sweet. She talked so nicely with Emily. We disgusted how she can be shy and she is afraid of most things. Talked food time and bathroom habits. Jennifer left and then came back for the appointed time. Emily was very happy to see her. Jennifer provided many pictures of their time together while I was out. My Emily was happy to see me come back but, not about Jennifer leaving. Emily went to hide after she left. She was upset with me that Jennifer had left. She ignored me for the rest of the night. Jennifer had made quite an impression on her. Jennifer is an unbelievable person. Hiring her would be a blessing to you and your pet. I give her 10 out of 10.”

About: I’ve been animal lover for as long as I can remember. From reptiles to puppies to birds I treat every animal with love and respect. Due to never having an ideal living situation to be caring pets, I’ve never had a pet of my own. However, I’ve always been surrounded by my friends, families, coworkers and neighbors pets. I have watched cared for their pets at my home, their home and even just out and about many times over the years. This has given me experience with a countless amount of pets of all kind and I fall in love with each and every one! I’d love to spread that love a little further to all who will allow me to share :) I work a part-time job at the moment and I’m looking to fill my extra time with something I love. I’ll have more than enough time to devote my utmost attention to your loved one! I’m also athletic myself so even the high energy fur balls get the best of me! I am very big on boundaries and structure. I will make sure to follow any guidelines that you already have in place for your pet.

I'm a junior college student, most of my classes are online so my schedule is very flexible, I usually walk them around my complex or take them to the dogs park with the owners permission I have an unfenced yard, toys, and bowls. I can administer medicine, give them baths, clean their ears and trim their nails. I worked in an animal hospital and a farm so I have a lot of experience handling animals :)
“Kaitlyn took great care of our dog, Murph! She was communicative, friendly, and left both our house and sweet guy in great shape. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable pet care!”

“Risa is very thoughtful, communicative and asked great questions at our first meet and greet! She is also a true “dog person” and handled meeting our shy spaniel with ease - they became quick friends. We felt very comfortable leaving Risa to stay in our home, knowing she was handling all of our dogs needs. We came home to two very happy, well-exercised pups!”

About: I grew up with a Doberman and a cat. Now, I take care of friends’ dogs, when I’m not running an office. Currently, my mom puppy trains guide dogs so I’m learning even more about dog training, these days. For house sitting, my availability is open this summer. For dog walking I can do that during my lunch, if you’re within 5-10 minutes of Patchogue. I can walk, run, and/or play with your dog. I’m a runner and hiker. I would ensure that I carry out your routines and can crate the dog if necessary.
About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!
